Unfortunately most of these people will be the hardworking Igbo traders who have registered to vote in the different parts of the country now returning home. They would have voted for GEJ but with this, they will be giving Buhari an edge. |
Putting faces to this crisis rally brings it home. RIP to the brave men fighting for the freedom of the rest. I feel sorry for them because they are being betrayed by their bosses who siphon away the trillions meant for this fight and by the Clueless C in C who while i don't believe he can sponsor Boko haram, allows the corruption in the military to continue without doing anything about it. May any politician supporting Boko Haram either by being sponsors or by being inept at their job lose their kids the way these guys have died. So hurt! |
When the biggest reference point for presidential behaviour are the governors who are his political juniors, then you know you don't have a leader. What you have is a run of the mill empty-head. |
If this 'Ogar'' is the head of our intelligence services, doesn't say a lot for our collective intelligence. |
My initial reaction was ''this is not possible''. Then i read a thread about how much has been stolen under Jonathan and i realise if those monies were left in Government coffers, Nigeria will probably afford a gourmet meal for every nigerian! GMB 2015! |
From so many replies on this thread, it is obvious there are still so many people ignorant about transmission and living with the HIV. The health minister has a lot of education to do. Kenny Badmus should be commended 100% He is a true hero. |
JOHESU!! |
Is it just me or does the GEJ/PEJ picture look like a photo-shopped contraption? |
No wonder General Azazzi who said PDP was behind Boko Haram had to die. It is more than obvious they were behind it all along. Even GEJ said they were in his government. |
I am impressed with the progress of the Nigerian Army and those guys should be praised! However i find it queer that their sterling successes only came after GEJ/Oritsejafor were unable to get illegal arms with the $9.3million seized in South Africa.#Justsaying |
The judgement is from a FEDERAL high court. Says a lot about the federal govt really. |
Under GEJ, the country has become a bedrock of corruption. EFCC and ICPC have become toothless rats( not even dogs) This man(GEJ) has so much encouraged corruption that it has now become the norm Bode George, Alamesiegha, Stella Oduah, Deiziani, Sherriff, Ihejirika, Obanikoro. . .oh my God, the list is endless! All hail GEJ Nigeria's first openly pro-corruption president. |
One in ten GPs earns more than the Prime Minister, official figures show. Despite efforts to rein in the pay of family doctors, many still receive vastly more than David Cameron’s annual salary of £142,500. A total of 3,430 general practitioners earned more than £150,000 in 2012/13 – 10.5 per cent of self-employed GPs – according to the figures, published yesterday by the Government’s Health and Social Care Information Centre. chidekings: this gonna be my last response to u,but before i go just wanna let u know You don't curse people. Its ungentlemanlySorry if i came across as abrasive in my last post. Just got irked with you talking about things you knew nothing about, talking about village and all. I know what i do in the UK and to just disparage my work in the only thing i do was quite prickly. Sorry once again and this is certainly the end of it. |
chidekings: and all u that understand the topic doing is talking nigeria down while i bet ur still at ur fathers house in the villagekid, run along. Your little mind obviously can't imagine what i am talking about. your comprehension skills are as bad as your reasoning ability. Talking down Nigeria by encouraging people to take their skills to where they are appreciated? Go and listen to Whiz kid and don't try understanding the way the NHS works. |
sambisa5: like i careWhatever bakes your noodles. ![]() |
sambisa5: so you don't sleep, but counting those who are commenting and the pages on which their comments fall.........just because you made fp..........Chill lady..was only taking a piss on your post. Read my earlier posts ![]() |
sambisa5: Like i careYes, people who don't care will open a thread at 1am and type on page 5. ![]() |
bushdoc9919: But one needs to pass PLAB first, not so?Yes, that is the general rule but the trusts are allowed to waive that if they are desperate. Like i said earlier, they will sometimes employ without PLAB but will ask you to get it in the first year of work for them. That allows you get into the system and start building up your CV. So don't let that stop you from trying. You never know which hospital is really hungry for a doctor. |
Dear doctors for jobs in scotland visit http://www.medicaljobs.scot.nhs.uk/ Jobs in the Scottish highlands are usually the ones desperately looking for doctors but be ready for serious cold and a language shock ![]() |
chidekings: and i dont remember asking for all this explanationsApart from making a childish statement about a topic you do not understand? |
chidekings: someone is high on some cheap weedTo your little mind. Unfortunately many are like you without any idea what happens beyond their street. I know how dire the situation is, my local A/E had to pay a locum Dr £100 an hour for a 12hour shift just this last saturday for cover. Get enlightened little boy. Doctors have a very transferable skill set |
As a doctor ,i am so happy i left many years ago. The system gets more rotten by the day Brains are like women, they go where they are appreciated. My advice to my junior colleagues is this, dust your certificates(worth £££££££££) do the right exams and move. The UK is currently short of doctors especially in accident and emergency. We are so short that my trust did a Skype interview and employed 5 doctors from Sri-Lanka last year. The Royal college of GPs currently is understaffed and many units nationwide have rota shortages. I know of a few lucky Nigerian doctors who didn't even write the exams yet were employed and told to get it sorted in their first year here. The Hospitals will usually file with the home office for your work permits and you only have to pay for your visas for your family. Hurry and come, you are not appreciated in Nigeria anyway, so why stay? try www.jobs.nhs.uk and go to section for non-EEA doctors. Hospitals post jobs on that page when they haven't found anyone from Europe to take the job. Those are the ones really desperate for anyone with a medical degree. just my little advice. |
I am not ''yearning'' nonsense. Just wondering why in thirty years she never told you there was a post of 'director of administration' |
lanrefront1: Spoken like a true doctor.Dude..your mum who spent 30 years as a lab scientist probably didn't work in a teaching hospital. Go home and ask her the profession of the Director of Administration in those hospitals. Come to think of it, people like keep bandying on about 'abroad, worldwide' etc It just shows you have no knowledge of the workings of those systems. If you want the privileges of being a doctor, why don't you go to med school? oh i forgot, the jamb requirements are too high for some intellects to cope with. |
lanrefront1: The man spoke the truth. My mother worked for 30 years a a medical laboratory scientist at LUTH. The truth is Nigerian doctors are the most greedy selfish arrogant and back stabbing set of professionals in the world. After all these rant which seem to me was programmed into you by your mum who spent 30years as a lab scientist, will you be against it if your child wishes to go to med school? i think not. All these bile against doctors do nothing for the health sector, there is not short-cut in life, if you want equality of roles and titles with consultants, go back and study for another 15 years please. If these amorphous fellows called JOHETSUK are given their demands, it wont be long before bricklayers start demanding equality with architects, auxillary nurse would want to be head of nursing department, civil defence go wan be general for army. Let us not turn Nigeria upside down simply because people want the benefits of what they didn't pay the price for. You should understand there must be a reason why lab science and medicine no get the same jamb entry score. |
This is lab science vs medicine all over again Different entry marks into school, different curricula, different requirements and yet these people clamour for equality? What is hard in people recognising that input determines standings? Well then, this is Nigeria, common sense will be turned on its head as usual. |
This is an opportunity for the other health workers to step up to the plate and show they are equal to doctors if it is really true. |
now compare Stella to the French president. A tabloid reported he was involved in an illicit affair, he threatened to sue them...next minute, story disappears from their website. http://news.sky.com/story/1193175/hollande-affair-story-pulled-from-website |
rudedough: [b]It's better to ignore distractions instead of trying to prove nonsense. All these rambles are political distractions from the opposition, they don't want anything, they just want you to be distracted. Let me remind you of Obama and the Republicans. This has got nothing to do with the president. SR lied against my certificate, i publish it to show the world their foolishness and then sue them for so much they will never recover. I don't see how hard that will be for a forthright person, in fact i think most Nigerians will be behind her for being the victim of a smear. Till she does that i will believe SR on this one. She needs to come out and reassure her supporters that she is clean. She is currently behaving like she has a skeleton in her closet. |
