If you'd succeeded, how would he have gotten his share from the people he was shielding the money for?? |
Gajagojo:It's a public forum, where everyone is entitled to comment on another person's comment. You were sounding like you'd boxed them into a corner and I simply provided an evidence to counter your comment. |
Gajagojo:Then why still asking where the loan is coming from, as if the post said the builders would use their personal fund to construct the power plant?? |
Gajagojo:Didn't you see this: ❝the Debt Providers: FBN Quest, Bank of Industry (BOI), Infra Credit❞ ?? |
I see. |
Naira has failed us. Let's retrieve all the notes in circulation and reissue a new set of notes, bearing another name. This time the name could be raina. |
jackcanfield:He didn't say they'd continue as spouses in heaven. It's simply to avoid being heartbroken here on earth. |
DSS is unarguably the most incompetent security agency in Nigeria. This was the same way they charged Dasuki, a former military officer for that matter, to court for possession of firearms and the case died, to their shame. DSS needs to be disbanded and their HQ demolished for being a source of shame to Nigeria. How many court cases have they won in the last 30 years? Maybe -3. Why can't Tinubu ask them to transfer this case to the EFCC before they bungle it and release the criminal to go back to enjoy his loot and forget the economic crimes he committed against 200m Nigerians?? |
Fake. The true data could be around NW - 70%. |
This is not making sense. Forget palliatives and use the saved money for whatever infrastructure you want to use them for. It's the ogas at the top that'd share more than 70% of it amongst themselves. |
TemplarLandry:You can see the fake likes your APC bots are giving you guys, right?? Just typing an emoji alone and you already have 85 fake likes. |
Nigeria needs to divide. Population explosion, especially from the North, whilst economic activities remain largely stagnant, is the bane. Looks like our politicians are unable to manage such a large population as ours; so let's divide into at least 5 countries. |
Tunechi5:It's not just manpower. US has the world's largest coal reserves which is used for power generation. They also have crude oil. In fact they currently have more 44bn barrels of reserves; though they bought some of them while some were locally harnessed. |
Tunechi5:US doesn't have anything aside population?? US that's the centre of world's technology and manufacturing has nothing?? lexy2014:What kind of reasoning is this? Do you have to be the poorest person in your town before you say 'enough is enough'?? ![]() |
mrvitalis:I did. I constantly posted it on my WhatsApp Status sef—that it was an injustice. |
24SEVEN:Just own up that you have lost the argument. |
Flathead8:Only northerners can fight corruption and insecurity. That's how the southerners are helping the northerners to feel like they own Nigeria or have more stake in Nigeria, and then later complain that northerners have taken over all FG civil service offices. BTW, switch to a better moniker. |
BabaRamota1980:It's nice to see somebody seeing through the same lens. Who says it's only the north who can produce the positions of defense minister and NSA at the same time? These are almost the most plum political appointments — they give it to themselves when they are in power and southerners also give it to them when they the southerners are in power. |
24SEVEN:And do you know that it's geopolitical matters such as this that often lead to war in nations?? You think it's all about dollar value or hunger? Was it not because a VP was sacked that precipitated a war in South Sudan which is still ongoing today after more than 8 years? If we continue to avoid matters such as this under the guise that it doesn't change the price of rice or fuel, it'll finally tip over one day lead to avoidable conflagration. Was it the price of gari that caused the Nigerian civil war?? |
24SEVEN:Liveability is not all that there's in a country. If it's, how come some people in wealthy countries such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, China, Hong Kong clamor, protest and even die for democracy, despite the fact that almost everyone is living in prosperity?? |
If you also check who the defence ministers are during these administrations, they are also northerners. And instead of them to reciprocate the gesture during their own time, they trample on that and bring their fellow brothers to run the show. The southerners are enslaving themselves, even without the input of the northerners. They have no blame. |
Caveat: This is NOT to incite, just to point out what I see as self-subjugation. When southerners are presidents, their NSA (a very plum position that's almost equal to the position of a VP), is always a northerner: Earnest Shonekan (S) — Ismaila Gwarzo (N) Obasanjo (S) — Aliyu Mohammed Gusau (N) Jonathan (S) — Andrew Azazi (S - 2 years), Sambo Dasuki (N - 3 years) Tinubu (S) — Ribadu (N) But during the tenure of a northern Head of State or President, he'll always choose a fellow northerner: IBB (N) — Aliyu Mohammed Gusau (N) Abacha (N) — Ismaila Gwarzo (N) Abdulsalam (N) — Abdullahi Mohammed (N) Yar'Adua (N) — Aliyu Mohammed Gusau (N) Buhari (N) — Babagana Monguno (N) We all know that all over the world, the position of defense and security appointments are a hotcake. When the southerners keep on showing the north that they are the only ones qualified to handle security/defence matter, do they have the right to turn around and accuse the north of playing kingmaker? |
If Tinubu gives defense minister to northerner after giving NSA to one of them, that means that the southerners have really considered themselves slaves to the north when it comes to security and military intelligence matters. |
I've been noticing. Looks like people have been "afraid" to point it out that 90% of people he posts congratulations messages to, are Igbos. |
jumper524:Not true! |
omenka:NL trollmaster, please avoid me if that's all you can come up with. |
jumper524:What about front page not being populated with new topics until 8am when it used to be 6am? |
Does Seun think that nobody can suddenly spring up to create an alternative and retire this site to the dustbin of history within three months? He doesn't seem to be taking it or the users seriously. |
Who else has noticed that traffic to Nairaland, especially the politics section which records the highest traffic has deteriorated? Before now, the average ad price per week on the politics used to average around ₦140K/week, but it's currently around ₦75K, because the ad prices are set to automate with corresponding traffic. In fact, during the elections, the traffic was so much that it was approx ₦200K/week. And also, Nairaland mod(s) used to populate the front page by around 6am everyday, but nowadays, you'll continue to see the last thread you saw the previous night until around 8am. |
doggedfighter:In Christianity, premarital or extramarital sex is a grievous sin. |
So slashing 50% off university fees and declaring free education in primary and secondary schools is what you deem as performance?? Reducing his state's already meagre revenue generation is not a wise thing to do. Why do Nigerians think that education has to be free, in the first place?? When you graduate and start working, will you be working for free?? |
