Rest in peace Fr. Kelvin Ugwu

Y'all wishing another's business death will cry to high heavens if same was done for you.

The show received low turnout since last year and this year is campaign year, very bad timing as many youths are now politically interested.

Meanwhile, the show will bounce back next year and recover but Fr. Kelvin Ugwu, RIP to you.
gringrin This your pain is loud o. I do not subscribe to BBN and the ills it represents, but I do not think it's appropriate for the man to use the words "rest well" for it. I don't think you should tell him same.
Business › Re: New York Named The Richest City On The Planet With 59 Billionaires And A Stagger by RenaissanceGuy: 10:06am On Sep 17, 2022
Nigeria needs to be divided squarely into four countries for the citizens to have a new lease of life or at best, we need to go back to fiscal regionalism. The only billionaires we have here in Nigeria are politicians.

Am Obidient
Hi, you don't start a sentence with 'am' unless you're using it to ask a question. So the correct words would be 'I am' or I'm (the short form).

A military mascot goat? undecided
Though "we" all know the British monarchy is very much tied to the occult, but what's ridiculous about the goat as a military mascot?

Fake News. Charles' coronation won't take place before mid to late 2023. There's no place in the programme for animal sacrifice. The suggestion is preposterous. Charles himself is an animal rights activist and would never allow such I'm all for culture and identity, but we shouldn't be making wild claims to push our culture agenda. Animal sacrifice is barbaric. It has no place in modern Britain ..It shouldn't take place in any modern society..
As much as I know that that this thread photo is not really what it's claiming, there's no doubting the fact that a lot of blood sacrifices HAS BEEN and WILL BE made in all of these burial and coronation CEREMONIES, albeit PRIVATELY under utmost secrecy.

Even when they debunked it that the said bags was meant for soap to be shared among our beautiful mothers in the market, but foolish and Idiotic urchins won't rest.
You people should keep crying and wailing because Agbadorians tears are sweeter than honey.
So when APC or PDP share their own, they're meant for the ugly mothers in the market?

noble2faith:
Don't get me twisted, young man. I Neva said the name "Ebira" has not been bastardised to "Egbira". I am against you saying it is anglicisation. Do you really know what Anglicisation is? "/gb/ sound is not in English phonetics.

For instance "Igbo" is anglicised to "Ibo".
Okay, I get it now. Thank you.

Looks like most people don't know that this man is Gumi's spokesman. Long story made short, they're most likely in the same "business".
Culture › Re: ‘Egbira’ Finally Gazetted As Common Name For An Ethnic Group by RenaissanceGuy:
There's nothing like Egbira, it's EBIRA! Say no to anglicisation of African languages and words.
noble2faith:
Do you even know what Anglicisation is?
You are not vast in English phonetics. There is no "gb" sound in English phonetics. Nothing like anglicisation here.
Had it been the former was the correct one, you would have been right to say it's anglicisation.
I'm very conversant with the language and I can categorically tell you that there's nothing like "Egbira". It's Ebira and it means [good] character.

Politics › Re: After The Election We Will Unveil Our Manifesto; Tinubu by RenaissanceGuy: 1:02pm On Sep 08, 2022
Walai:
Must we always need an interpreter to explain what Tinubu actually means in every statement he makes?
Did he mention anything campaign in his statement? Yes or no
"Let the election be over. That is one step. We have to comply with INEC and REGULATIONS REGARDING THE ELECTIONS , when we finish that, we will unveil to you those things that we have for the country"

The regulations he was referring to, is INEC regulation that stipulates that campaign starts 28th September and any candidate who starts his campaign before that would be sanctioned.
Politics › Re: After The Election We Will Unveil Our Manifesto; Tinubu by RenaissanceGuy: 9:23am On Sep 08, 2022
I'm not a Tinubu fan, but you're twisting his words. He was simply saying that after INEC gives a go-ahead for the CAMPAIGN (not election) to start, he'd unveil his manifesto.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Boris Johnson Joins The Police In Raiding A Man's Home At 6am (Pic) by RenaissanceGuy:
A little bit funny, but this is the norm in developed countries. Their presidents and PMs mingle freely with citizens and join them impromptu to carry out public works or take public train. This is the kind of country I want to live in, not where the president is treated as a demigod whom ordinary citizens can see only on TV.

MODIFIED.
