What fun is it traveling all the way to Dubai and choosing to stay in your hotel all day? You should budget like 400k for that length of time just for leisure, and if you don't spend it all, that's okay. Also, have some dirharams as tip.

If you are traveling with a virgin passport, expect the guys at the airport to harass you. It is better to settle them than trying to prove right and missing your flight.

Nigerians can never take a picture abroad without an oyinbo person showing. I kid you not, one time I was lucky to travel to Las Vegas with my wife, my sister in-laws and their kids. I totally dislike women who nag. When I was searching for a soul mate, I prioritized these 3 qualities: cool headed, does not nag and Tall. Maybe the Pope and high ranking Islamic clerics from Saudi Arabia should come together and decide on removing parts of the bible or Quran that instruct people to kill in the name of God or Allah. They should remove any parts of the bible or Quran that says idol worshippers or members of other religions will not make heaven. Religion in the 21st century should be non judgemental. It may take time, possibly 5 generations before the old information has been completely removed, but only then will true peace be formed between Christians and muslims.

I live in lagos but in 2010 I had to travel to the U.S for a convention, I had a few perfumes, lotion and toothpaste in my carryon luggage, upon getting to the security gate, they had to throw everything out because they were over 100mL. I was so mad but then I remembered the reason this rule was placed. It was because that foolish Nigerian guy Umar Abdul Mutallab had tried to bring down a plane with liquid explosives in his underwear back in 2009. Because of that idiot no liquid over 100mL is allowed on board a plane, they have to be checked in. So yes I'm definitely reporting mr Appia.

Every foreign embassies should park their load and move out of Nigeria as it will force us to use our brains and improve the country. 7 out of 10 Nigerians living in the diaspora are into criminal activities.
