Former Nigerian star, Obasi broke his silence on the reason he was omitted from the 2014 FIFA World Cup squad. Obasi who played for Schalke 04 said that he was left out of the squad because he refused to bribe the manager. Premier League have announced the date for the 2020/2021 season. According to report obtained from Premier League official Twitter handle, the 2020/2021 season is expected to kick off on Saturday, 8th of August 2020. Although, there has been reactions for this decision has as many believe the decision to start the season will come to early for players. While others suggest this season should come to an end as many believe Liverpool have won the title. Liverpool currently leading the race to win this campaign League title with 73 points. Takumi Minamino is delighted to have made his Premier League debut for Liverpool. Liverpool attacker, Mohamed Salah statue is set to be unveiled at the famous Madame Tussauds wax museum in London. Recall that Salah has been a revelation since he joined the Reds in the summer of 2017 from Roma. Salah endured a difficult spell in his first encounter of the Premier League under Jose Mourinho in Chelsea. He joined Chelsea from Basel in 2014, and he was sent on loan to Serie A, twice at Fiorentina in 2015 and Roma in 2016. Manchester United football club of England is in talks to sign Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo according to new reports. The English club is reportedly 'desperate' for a striker following a three months injury to Marcus Rashford and a shock 2-0 loss to Burnley on Wednesday. Man U had made former Solksjaer player, Erling Braut Haaland, one of their top targets ahead of January, but a deal broke down because of doubts surrounding the structure of the deal and the agent Mino Raiola's plan to rip off the club in any future sale of the player. Chelsea have signed a shirt sponsorship deal with mobile phone network Three ahead of the start of the 2020-21 season. Three will replace current shirt sponsors Yokohama from the start of next season after Chelsea ended their five-year partnership with the Japanese tyre company.
