If everybody should run from the frontlines, what will happen to the civil population should the bandits advance hinterland? The thought of the consequences on the civil population, our families (wives and kids) and friends is what emboldened a soldier to fight gallantly at the frontlines and not easily surrender.

Wisdom demands that soldiers don't fight with empty hands or outdated arms whereas ogas at the top keep on sharing funds meant for arms procurement.

Sadly, that can't happen without severe consequences. Enlisting in the military is like signing a suicide note, no retreat and no surrender until the contract ends. Problem with Nigeria military is too much politics and corruption. I remember working with some of them on few occasions and how they were novices to some of the gadgets my men and I had. Truth is that they were good but only lacked proper training and gadgets to be gallant. I weep for my home country Nigeria.

I have always supported abortions mainly due to this reason; giving birth and "offering the child to the wolves".
It's difficult for me to see almost no err attached to the lady that dumped this child, but then, you have to ask yourself if she was raped, if the protection she used disappointed or most importantly, if she has the resources to carter for the child. But no, some people would rush to attack her, forgetting that sometimes, the option to die is better than the "force" on one to leave.
If abortions were legal, she'd have done it before the baby becomes a developed foetus but, society no go gree her rest.
This is appalling, this is barbaric, this is evil and this is blatant wickedness. May God forgive the lady that commited this atrocity. May God forgive us all.
