OkutaNla:Thank you jare'. No mind that guy. They have an inflated view about themselves |
sarrki:The way you write, are you sure you did interview for your BMC work? Or could it be that the job was given to you to further promote nepotism like your grand patron? |
frenzyduchess:Maybe the OP should start looking for the ethnicity of all the victims of robbery all over the country, since that is his new found job. This post shows that most Nigerians have a penchant for putting primordial affiliations over modern civilization. |
frenzyduchess:Very sound. I think some people in here are up to no good. |
jaymichael:The money is a security vote. Whether parliament was made aware or not is not a plausible argument. It is your predetermined mind set that is blurring you from getting my point. My comment is not an attempt to defend anyone. What is keeping the present government from making Ayo Oke account for monies that were given to him? What is he doing at home when he is at the centre of everything? Why is it that the present government is trying to make the whole thing appear like the several allegations that they accuse Jonathan and it all ends there? Concerning where you stated that the present government was not briefed about the money, I think you did not follow the Ikoyi saga keenly, or you have selective amnesia. Then, Ayo Oke made it clear that the office of the NSA is aware. My dear, if Jonathan is culpable, they should ask him questions and stop giving us a reason to bicker over an issue they know all the details. Good morning |
12submarine:If Jonathan disbursed the money without parliamentary approval, then he should answer for that and not when the money got missing. Like I said earlier, Ayo Oke is in better position to answer that. Just thinking o. Maybe the missing money is operational cost of NIA |
NDPVF:Its been a long time I prayed for someone. But you, God will bless you for the above |
GrammarCheck:Perhaps you did not follow my commentary keenly. I never said Buhari should be held accountable for this money. My problem is, the NIA gave confirmation that they received the said amount from government, what is keeping the present administration from compelling the NIA to account for the missing sum? What is Ayo Oke doing at home when he is at the centre of the controversy? Why make it look like one of the many unending corruption related cases where Goodluck is blamed and it all ends there? My brother, there is something they are not telling us |
Throwback:You have no regard for decorum and civilization. You can still be civil even though you are depressed. I can only engage you on issue based discussion when you learn how to communicate like a modern person.... |
ivandragon:I stand to be corrected if I am wrong. Ayo Oke sometime ago said he briefed the office of the NSA i.e Monguno during the Ikoyi brouhaha |
12submarine:The NIA is in better position to answer the above question. My position is that, the article did not reveal when the money got missing, and what it was used for. |
GrammarCheck:Believe me, your adulthood is even more appalling because you have a pathological disability for truth. I advise you go back and check your previous comment I mentioned to know who suffers from comprehension problem. In case you are too busy to retrace your comment, lemme help you.... You brazenly said the money was part of Goodluck Jonathan's pre-election dollar jamboree. What does the above comment mean to you? Is it that you don't understand what you write or you have a slippery relationship with the truth? Please, don't be clever by half |
GrammarCheck:It is very funny that you know those that react like expired chemicals except yourself. Is it safe for me to think that you were on the table or in the meeting when the said monies were shared? Judging from your overwhelming knowledge of how the said events occurred. The Ikoyi billions, is it Goodluck that locked them up in Osborne? Is the Goodluck that stopped the government from telling Nigerians the owner of the apartment where the monies were found, and indeed the owner of the towers? The inability of the NIA to reveal the billions to the current administration does not amount to Goodluck stealing the money. Maybe, you missed the part where Ayo Oke said the office of the NSA is aware.... |
ivandragon:Does disbursement mean missing? There is a difference between when money was given and when money got missing, ok? |
brainpulse:Are you sure you're not the olodo? Did the article say at what point the money got missing? The Honourable member only mentioned when the money was appropriated. When the money was given does not equal when the money got missing. Sorry, if I was a bit rude. I have to be rude to be kind though |
Mynd44:What is exactly is the point you are trying to establish? The article clearly said the said amount was given to the NIA during the last administration, did it also say at what point the money got missing? I am sure the above question is not a difficult one to answer, considering the fact that you read the article well supposedly. The money was released to the NIA early 2015, same year the current administration was elected. Therefore, it is no longer the business of the last administration to monitor the NIA whether it revealed its finances to whoever that is in charge now. Perhaps, it is the ineptitude of the present government that is responsible for the panoply of missing monies. Don't you think so? |
usba:Your response shows that you're a bigger fool for wasting your precious bandwidth on my supposed foolery. I wouldn't have glorified you with a response because your zombieism is like a rattle snake with a tai-chi kind of venom. But, ignoring you will mislead some gullible people that may not know how despicable your line of thought is. For the records, I never said the recommendations of the panel are binding on whoever that set the panel. My comment was only to draw attention to the fact that the presidency totally abandoned the recommendations of the panel, and went as far as appointing a foreigner with controversial records as the DIG of NIA. This is not only nepotistic in outlook but also against the conventions guiding the NIA. You are a fellow countryman so I will not give up on you despite your penchant for prehistoric display of orientation. I will do whatever it takes to make sure you're delivered from this your self inflicted pathological disability for truth... |
I have never seen a President like Buhari that is so resolute in destroying himself. It is either he is a robot being pushed around, or he does not have a soul |
Have you seen the video of a jet fighter of the Nigerian Air Force giving aerial bombardment support to the Islamic Fulani Herdsmen Terrorists attacking a village in Adamawa State, just few days ago? ...more than 30 villagers were burnt to death. Do you know that the Nigerian Army raided a shrine in Benue State and arrested a Chief Priest for administering invincibility charms on vigilante youths to protect the community against the Islamic Fulani Herdsmen Terrorists? Keep speaking grammar on political correctness. You watch #BBNaija and CNN, you start forming liberalism and call truth "bigotry" If the Army can gather intelligence to stop a planned attack by Benue youths, what stopped the Army from stopping the Islamic Fulani Herdsmen terrorists attacks that lasted several hours and was recurrent within days intervals? Nigeria is in Africa, our practical reality is different from that of UK and USA. General Buhari, an ex military dictator and a coupist is the President of Nigeria. General Buhari is a Fulani, and own cattle in their hundreds General Buhari is a reserved Islamists, and has spoken in defense of Sharia in the past. General Buhari has personally defended the Fulani herdsmen in the recent past. Please, take Emmanuel Macron, Xi Jiping, Angela Merkel, Donald Trump and Justin Trudeau ...show me the remotest similarities to General Buhari. You're talking about Physicists, Scientists and Harvard graduate, then , after you watch Hollywood movies you're applying their psyche in Nigeria under General Buhari. Do you even know that in November last year, the Islamic Fulani herdsmen terrorist shot at a NAF jet fighter in Numan communities of Adamawa State, but the fighter jet could not return fire because General Buhari gave instructions to them, not to use force on Fulani? ...this was after more than 100 persons were slaughtered by the Islamic Fulani Herdsmen Terrorists in Demsa and Numan communities of Adamawa. It's even funnier that DSS and NIA has come to say that they are rather Islamic State of West Africa (a branch of ISIS) not the Islamic Fulani Herdsmen Terrorists Now, ask your skull... Why is Army arresting Nigerian youths in Benue State for trying to defend themselves against foreign Islamic terrorists, but is yet to arrest these Islamists? Copied. http://lm.?u=http%3A%2F%2Feveryday.ng%2F2018%2F01%2F30%2Fadamawa-killings-amnesty-air-force-disagree%2F&h=ATPAzCEmaVL-5u4qUDogatn_hNHHCkfaYnmxXh2_5baxDfYDpviZEVgNLkQh2OYAkqQ_aiyG1WlTqDx667FCkKUEExjr5IVRLtDFalEUXWRTJjno-5S21-Q8IY4dHgthuBGoaxwC5UY5ZeOK1qdOc_i7&s=1 |
giftq:Exactly where my pain lies @bold Good morning and Happy New Month to you and your Family |
usba:Then why set the panel in the first place? Are you sure you're normal. Why would a government set up a panel it does not have faith in? Why waste our scarce resources to set up a panel only for the government to do the opposite of what the panel recommended? Sorry, I totally forgot that I am not suppose to ask you the above questions. You are one of the programmed internet robots of this administration. What do they call you guys again? Hmmm....Zombie |
giftq:My brother, the length of occurrence is actually More Death, Famine and Destruction especially when it goes unabated. Nobody is asking Nigeria to go to war. This admonishment is only for the Nigeria government to be more swift and resolute in our foreign policy. There is no sane country in the world that watch on when her citizens are killed and maimed by foreigners. Hence, the above puts Nigeria in the league of mad countries. |
SSGN:Well, if I'm to answer the bold, I would say Nigeria is not a country. In fact, there is no name to give it now. Some people would want to say they have it worse in Yemen, Syria, Libya, Sudan etc. Well, that is their business. As for Nigeria and Nigerians, there is no reason for us to be where we are. How a country like Nigeria with supposed intelligent people voted for a Coup Plotter and is preparing to vote another illiterate come 2019, to say the least is unimaginable and very worrying... |
giftq:What is this one saying? Is it that you are blind to see Famine, Death, Genocide, Destruction on going in the country particularly in the area the OP mentioned, or is it that you are simply not just amenable to reason. Indeed, our existential condition determines our consciousness so your line of thought is not really a thing of surprise. The impact of rain is felt differently by differently people. My advise is relocate your family to those areas mentioned, then come back and tell us same story.... |
The sudden fist flexing posture of Cameroon in her relations with Nigeria is not a surprise. A country that does not have regard for the citizens that the leaders swore to protect. A government that gives lame and inconsistent excuses when the Nigerian territory is encroached on by foreigners, a government that makes every attempt to cover up the murder of its citizens by foreigners rather than do something to make it stop. The truth of the matter is the Nigerian government cannot do anything to Cameroon or Chad for the continuous violation of our territory. Right now, the government more interested in ethnic or religious agenda, ethnic domination and religious supremacy. As for the Nigeria military, the only program in the psyche of the force is IPOB, illegal refineries, harassment of innocent citizens, social media monitoring, opposition conquest etc. Sometimes I wonder what truly is the purpose for the existence of the Nigerian state. May future generations never meet a country so despicable.... |
Cofactor:My brother, the presence of Victor Banjo has already diluted the ethnic outlook which did not entirely made it an Igbo affair. Secondly, going by your analogy, Major. Nzeogwu was not Igbo by loyalty since he was born and bred in Kaduna, spoke Hausa fluently and even adopted Kaduna as his middle name. Some people even argue that he is not Igbo since his root is in Delta State, a people that don't claim themselves to be Igbo in present day Nigeria. Lemme not derail the thread.... |
Years back, some Nigerians united and created a Second Force that birthed APC....where has that led us? It led us to political and economic misery and desertification with so many licking their wounds. Creating a Third Force or Delta Force will make no meaning when the players are the same, and fundamental issues in our nation building is yet to be resolved. What I see in this Third Force is the usual use and dump that is trying to unfold. After 2019, then we call for a Fourth Force, or maybe God himself to be the New Force.... |
Cofactor:Good write up, no doubt. However, the psychological background of the piece is part of the problem. I expected the writer to rue the actions of those young Nigerian soldiers that ceased power in 1966 without playing the ethnic card. From what I know, the coup plotters were from more than one ethnic group. Because it suits the regular narrative, it is no longer Nigerian soldiers, but Igbo soldiers. This is one among the many reasons why there is so much hate in the country. Is Major. Nzeogwu the reason why the Nigerian government has failed to do anything right since 1970, even the rudiments of administration? Is the coup responsible for the massive stealing that the country has witnessed in the past? Is the coup responsible for the so many deaths we have recorded in the nation? From political motivated, to the ones with ritual and religious undertone? My brother, Nigeria was bound to fail from the day she was created. The Kano riot of 1953, the election crisis of 1964, census crisis and several others had the potentials to lead us to where we are today. Neither the Igbo nor the Yoruba is solely responsible for our political cum economic desertification, but our collective refusal to agree that Nigeria is not a nation but a mere territorial space where each ethnic group try to grab as much as they can from its belly. As long as we continue to pretend that Nigeria will get better, the more pernicious and complex our problems would become. The big question is whether there is hope for this country; frankly it does not look likely because the minorities killed Nigeria in their minds the day the WAZOBIA nonsense was propagated, and it will remained buried until when we stop the pretence. Nonetheless, I support the writer's call for self determination because Nigeria has proven herself to be an expired product. |
omowunmi360:There is a basic salary of 50k like they said. It is a field work where you have to meet targets in a group of Eight persons. The group target is to bring in Thirty Distributors in a month.....the number must not be less. Whoever you bring in can only qualify to become a distributor when they are ready to buy products worth N120,000.....this is the minimum they can buy. Their products- Slim Tea, Hair NowNow, Tamtadu, Flat Tummy, among others..... Hope the above helps |
UncleJudax:The funny thing most people don't know is Dangote's refinery is in a free trade zone. The implication is that he can even sell to foreigners if that's what profits his business without government having nothing to do about it. I wonder why a government and a nation is waiting for just one individual to cure their disease, with they not making attempts |
Warship:The bold caught my attention. DSS, Buhari is complicit in the killings |
Bollinger:Lolz...Power politics |
