RomanceRe: On Why The “Beautiful” Ones Are Still Single… by rhymz(m): 3:08pm On Sep 11, 2014
And my argument is that it is a human thing to feel left behind and should not be viewed any other way. That some other person choose to feign it and act like they are not bothered does not necessarily mean that the emotionally expressive woman should do the same. And trust me, this also goes for the male folks as well. Any man that is able and capable but is not able to keep a woman is not seen any differently his female counter part, except that he has the luxury of age which a woman does not. It is very normal for one to feel pressured if all you do every saturday is attend friends' and family members' wedding alone with no prospects of inviting people to your own.
IrishKez: I agree with all you wrote cos am a believer in the sanctity of marriage
My argument is in the area of feeling incomplete just because you are not married as a lady

SportsRe: Oscar Pistorius Found Not Guilty Of Murder by rhymz(m): 2:45pm On Sep 11, 2014
GuyFawkes: In all trials, "purely circumstantial" evidence is frequently the clearest path to the truth--even superior to eye-witness accounts. For goodness sake, there have been murder convictions where no body has been found, and circumstantial evidence is all there is..

It boggles the mind that Judge Masipa did not apply ordinary reasoning in her ruling. Ordinary reasoning points one way--toward guilt. First, no woman living intimately with a man would get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and, in the dark, lock the door behind her. Second, disabled in the legs or not, Mr. Pistorius is equipped with a functioning voice, good hearing and fully working arms. Why, if they thought an intruder was in the room, did he not instinctively listen for Ms. Steenkamp's breathing, reach out with his arm to see if she were lying there, or whisper to her to stay put? It's not very hard to figure out almost instantaneously that a partner has left the bed. Mr. Pistorius, even by his own account, had lots of time before he went to the bathroom to have figured this out.

While reading about the trial, I kept wondering if the prosecutor directly challenged Mr. Pistorius by saying this: Surely this was not the first time Ms. Steenkamp got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Why didn't you think an intruder was in the bathroom the other nights?
You are contradicting your own arguments. As much as you want him to jailed, there has to be proof beyond reasonable doubts that the defendant actually had the intent to murder his girlfriend. What you think he may have done is not a fact that any serious judge will use as an evidence to put somebody's life away in the dungeon.

Most of the witness account either defiled common logic or the established facts. The court of law is in the business of hard evidence not people's whims and caprices of what could have been.
SportsRe: Oscar Pistorius Found Not Guilty Of Murder by rhymz(m): 2:25pm On Sep 11, 2014
I would have been surprised if Oscar did not get acquitted at least on the murder charge. Seriously, the state prosecutors relied too heavily on Witness account and the past relationship issues they had.

See how the judge logically struck out most of the evidence witness accounts in a way that one can not fault much in her logic. Na only Oscar go fit talk if he intentionally killed his girlfriend in a rage or it was a tragic case of anxiety and mistake.

His lawyers played the mental instability argument very well and that is what has gotten him off the hook. The technicalities of the law does not care about witness accounts that may have been corrupted by judgemental media reports of the case.

Finally, Mr Oscar will get off with a light sentence for illegal possession of arms and discharge in public place all of which he had pleaded guilty and probably have agreed to a plea bargain that will see him get off with a smack in the butt.... I hope the media will now let this man rest....We now have another OJ Simpson case in RSA....

pickabeau1: Dude why are u being diplomatic at the bolded
Use the word...... submissive
Of course, who does not want a submissive wife. Many of you seem to think that submissiveness means you are going to be a maid or slave to your husband.... little wonder ladies with such mentality stay in constant competition with their husband for authority in the house and still complain about depression and not being happy in their marriage. No woman will be happy in a marriage in which she is in constant power competition with her spouse. He married you to help him build a home, assist him not compete with him. You can never win in such a competition, trust me. You will only end up depressed and unhappy.

It is for this reason that ladies with such feminist mindset find marriage too hot and leave it before it even start, only to end up lonely and angry to the point of starting up a feminist movement and even try to convince innocent ladies going through relationship hiccups that they don't need a man to be this and that....yes, that is absolutely true but it does not make it a great idea, YES.

What is the whole essence of being all powerful independent, strong and LONELY insidehuh This applies even to the single male folks, let's tell ourselves the truth, human beings are not wired to be stable islands emotionally. That is why we are in constant need to be in circles of friends, family and even strangers. We are all emotional beings after all, no matter wet in u wan claim.
RomanceRe: On Why The “Beautiful” Ones Are Still Single… by rhymz(m): 7:27am On Sep 11, 2014
Kachisbarbie: Then that one would be your business dear, the topic isn't about being married and happy, is it? This is topic for another day.
If all you guys envisage are loveless marriages, sorry to disappoint you, mine isn't one of them. Thank you
Your answer is very succinct and apt.
Nothing is as stvpid a reply as a somebody trying to justify being single in the hope that those who are already married probably are not happy in their marriage, like they wish you are not happy so you can go back to being single like them.

A Lot of black women like to hide under the guise of being strong and black like that really means anything outside of fighting off loneliness and the lack of presence of a male figure to help them raise the kids. If it did not mean anything to many of them that claim all sorts of happiness, why then do they use the term Strong Black Women....that in itself is ironical.

Many women these days just want already made men, they don't have time for a man whose time has not come regardless of his future prospects. The irony of this state of mind is that many of these same women are not made women either, and most made men want made women like them as well. They too have become wiser in the game. I know a lot of guyz that suffered rejection from women they truly loved when they were just starting out, many of these guy today are made and have become players that are on a kind of revenge mission. Many of them end up marrying women who are just average looking, this of course is after they have sampled all the so-called pretty ladies out there.
RomanceRe: On Why The “Beautiful” Ones Are Still Single… by rhymz(m): 11:05pm On Sep 10, 2014
While it is understandable that marriage should not be emphasized to a woman to the point stigmatisation, it will be folly for any woman to downplay its importance in the scheme of her being happy and fulfilled, Yes. This is true even for man. Seriously, I am yet to see a single person that likes being all by themselves, even the celibate priests in their solitude crave for companionship.

In my own experience as a young man that has interacted with many ladies both educated and non-educated, it goes beyond beauty and accompanying character flaws. There is the issue of doing things with cultured moderation. That is where many times it seem like the really pretty ladies and very educated ladies seem to get it wrong and many men see it as arrogance and character flaws they can not Kiev with.

I have noticed that it is easier for emotionally expressive, sincere and humble women to get married than the ones that are very educated, logically expressive and very proud women to get any man to take them seriously. To many men they are a piece of work they are not ready to do seriously. It is easier for an unexposed woman with just a little above school cert to get married than for a PhD wielding female professor to get married, this is true for women not just here in Africa but everywhere.

The fact is this, a woman that knows too much of what she wants always end up being the beautiful well exposed single and lonely woman. No man wants a woman that will continue to be a challenge to him even in marriage.

So the key here is moderation.

The question that nobody is asking the Aussie that is making a wild claim from far away Australia is what really did he negotiate with the so-called Bokoharam commandants? Who hired him as a mediator or Negotiator cos the Nigerian government obviously did not hire him, so who is he working for?

Any white man can make an allegation, does it mean we should now hound anyone he mentions?
How come he could not divulge the same information to the intelligence agencies in Nigeria or even abroad once he was privy to such sensitive information. He had to wait after over two months when SAS had left the APC to join PDP to tell us that Boko boys decided to come clean and revealed what we don't already know before..... like seriously, who in the North did not know that SAS had a "Love gone awry" tag with the Bokoharam sect....how is that news to us.

And to put a surprise element to the twist he had to bring in the name of the much hated former COAS who the North thinks was on a mission to avenge to death of the Biafrans that died during the civil war... so lame!!! Whoever the Aussie has been speaking to is a propagandist and is possibly working with the Aussie to divert attention from himself and the real northern financiers of bokoharam.

Until the Aussie has solid evidence to back up his claims of ihejirika's involvement outside of his Job as the COAS, it will be very lame and unproffesional to question the integrity of a retired General who has done more to curb the bokoharam sect on the basis of wild claim by some unknown Aussie mouthing off in an unofficial TV interview.

londoner: Okay, I also respect your right to your own opinion.

Can I ask what, would you term substance of the kidnapping of the girls?
If you follow the stories about these girls and the way the media kept suggesting and how the manufactured Shekarau kept playing into the suggestions, logically, you will come to the conclusions that the so-called new shekarau is an imposter and was acting based on the prodding of suggestions by the media.

I will give instances: remember when the Nyanya blast happened, the next day it was reported that a girl school had been raided by the same Bokoharam. Curiously, the same Shekarau that was quick to claim responsibility for the Nyanya bombing the previous day went dumb and numb about the incident that happened the same day he was busy claiming responsibility. It was until after two weeks that the !diot illiterate remembered that he had about 236 girls in his custody, this was after the media had gone agog in speculation of if really those girls were kidnapped.

During this time, until Kema Chikwe openly expressed doubts about the incident and questioned why none of the so-called missing girls parent had shown up or provided any evidence of their missing children that we started seeing fictitious parents popping up from nowhere. To buttress their claims, the same !diot claiming to be Shekarau released a video of girls doing recitals in some random place with no militant guarding the place or even Shekarau showing in the video. instead we saw a doctored video that showed a separate deranged Shekarau wanna-be poking fun at the Nigerian government and threatening to sell the girls in another part of the video.

I have seen countless videos of the real Shekarau and I know he does not have the personality of a joker or any humor in him, his mannerism was always serious and fierce and nothing like the imposter that was amusing himself in the new shekarau video and scratching his head like some crazed fiend under the influence of some hard drugs.
obviously, the guy was working with somebody up in the politics of the north and was getting all the nonsense prodding from his handlers. I can go on and on about that chiboj hoax but it is just not worthy of serious discussion as it was a joke that was taken too far.

Decent people should ask for investigations when war crimes are perpetrated in thier names. The attrocities below took place and documented under Ihejirika's watch. If Ihejirika is found to have beenn involved, he and other guilty parties should be brough to book. das all. I have no sympathy for anyone who thinks the lifes of Nigerians can be taken at will without due process of the law.

Tit, why are you opposed to investigating these war crimes and punishing the culprits even if they include a former COAS?

As for the BH criminals who have declared a war against this great nation, they will be summarily defeated once our Commander-in-chief decides to take decisive action.

At the end of the day people know that one of the two has a history of fighting against BH. That is why me some people don't understand why others are quick to count him guilty, with no apparent evidence at all. People supporting him actually dont believe he is involved at all. They don't seem to be saying that is h is involved he should be left alone.

With all that, people just conclude that is is an anti Igbo move. Right or wrong, that is the perception.

If it is true, I don't see how this accusation is compatible with that, if indeed it actually happened.
For both men, there needs to be evidence to bring a case in any court, not least the Hague.

Only an incredibly stoop!d person will run off with the illogical bullshyte from the Aussie to make any concrete decision. Most of what the guy is saying only serve to show that he does not really know the politics surrounding terrorism in the North. Whoever gave him such information is obviously in the business of propaganda.

It is obvious why they name dropped SAS and Ihiejirika.... SAS obviously used to sponsor the religious BokoHaram at their infant stage when the overzealous religious lout, Yusuf was their leader. SAS used his position to get their leader killed extra judiciously and outlawed their activities when they became uncontrollable for him. The man too has been hiding from the vengeful BokoHaram that will do anything to payback his disloyalty to their cause and killing one of their own. Let's be fair, he too has been at the receiving end of the Bokoharam terrorism, losing loved ones and close allies I guess it is Karma.

Ihijirika obviously dealt a very wicked blow to their activities, killed the real shekarau and gave them a thirst of their own medicine by showing them an unparalleled violence they never thought the Nigerian military could unleash. The man just was violent in his method...Lol....would order shoot at sight and brought out the killers in our soldiers to the point some Northern leaders misinterpreted it to mean a probable revenge for Biafra... Lol...this brings me to my main point:

The main sponsors of Bokoharam are still living the Northern leaders threatening fire and brimstone if GEJ continues to have expectations to be president beyond next year. The whole Aussie story is nothing different from the illogical bring back our girls bullcrap, these are all ploy to continue to give a dog a bad name before hanging it.

What will be the rationale for the Bokoharam group to release names of sponsor if not for propaganda and rubbishing the government and make it look like a lameduck....Bokoharam is purely a northern creation.
