Mine was on phone, she saw it coming, it was on the 31st of last year before then we had been having serious issues at a point I travelled out of the state for over 4months and we did not speak to each other called. I came back to Lagos and we made up again but things never were the same, I discovered she was up to something, she became more interested in asking me for money than about the relationship, in fact, part of what I had to agree to was to pay her the monthly stipends that I usually gave her every end of the month, she wanted me to pay up the money that had accrued during the four months we did not speak to each other. However when I discovered that the spark was not there again, that she was up to something else, probably had gotten a replacement sef- cos she was always having men approaching her parents for hand in marriage- o boi I started using my head o. Just like that, I decided the break up was going to be on phone, not that she would do anything silly if I told her in person but I just wanted that way. I first sent her a text message that it was not working and I did not want to continue like that, later she tried to call but I did not pick. Then I called and told her point blank that we should both move on, surprisingly she said if that was what I wanted no problem, i dropped the call, deleted her number and contact and heaved a heavy sigh of relief....no drama men, I still occasionally say hi to her on Facebook. |
haibe: This guy why not argue with sense, paul never met Christ until his encounter on his way to persecute the Christians, so how to you expect him to know all that Christ has said when he was alive? you think we are doing film tricks here? or magic?Kid shut up and just comment on things you know, you mean to tell me that Paul that was alive both during and after the advent of Christ did not know jack about the Christ he was leading people to? Do you have any sense at all? How can Paul be preaching about Jesus Christ yet he does not know who he is, that explains the concept of the religion:ignorant people being led by the blind. In essence you are arguing that Paul was preaching and talking about another Jesus Christ different from the one in the Gospels he claims to be preaching, that exactly corroborate my argument that Paul the founder of Christianity preached about a different Christ that greatly differs from the one in the gospel, his own Christ like the one in the gospels was also a mental creation influenced heavily by both Hellenistic and gnostic religious dogmas and practices, am sure you know he practiced the so-called pagan religion before his alleged conversion to Christianity which of course influence his religious construct of Christ and Christianity. You are way out of your league, it is obvious you do not know what you are yapping about. |
haibe: Flavius josephus was a 1st-century Romano-Jewish historian who always refuted that Jesus is the Son of God, yet he wrote about Jesus and talked about his existence, this guy doesn't support a lot of biblical stances but yet he believed Christ existed.Like I suspected, you are an intellectual pretender, you know next to nothing about the nonsense you write or the historians you name, to begin with, Flavious Josephus was a Jewish historian, he arguably wrote the most extensive history books of the 1st century yet in all of his work, at no point did he make any mention of Jesus christ except for the interpolation by the church father Eusebus in the man's work in two brief paragraphs that purpots purport to refer to Jesus Christ. An interpolation that have been found to be outright falsification and forgery. Josephus Father was contemporaneous to both Pilate and the advent of christ, if Christ had existed at the time his father would no doubt have made mention of him to his historian son. Josephus himself was appointed to Galilee and was in Rome the same time Paul was alleged to be in Rome with his christian community incurring the wrath of the authorities yet in all of Josephus writings, at no time did he mention Paul or Jesus christ besides those two fraudulent forgeries interpolated into the man's work. I challenge you to provide the pages of the man's work where he allegedly refuted that Jesus was the son of God. You need to just humble yourself and let the facts speak for themselves instead of you randomly trying to pass lies and hear-say as truth.[/quote] haibe: A lot of historians documented about Jesus even though they didn't believe him to be the son of God. Buhari and Muslim's hadith is another proof. There are different scribes who penned down writings about jesus in his time and made declarations of who He is.Can you point to me which of the first century historian made mention of christ in their extensive, outside of the interpolations and forgeries, don't even mention scholars or hostorians that had to use distorted 5th to 6th century history books to write their own history, it does not prove anything. |
haibe: Guy ur post still doesn't make sense, I have given you proves why Christ did exist but it seems you find it hard to read or something. You said the prove existed only in the bible and I highlighted other books too.You have given me proves why Christ exist by randomly talking about historians whose work you barely know what they were about except that they were mentioned as citing the existence of Christ, don't you see that you sound like an intellectual toddler trying to pass off his confusion as knowledge. Perhaps you should first understand the argument before rushing off to angrily post incomprehensible BS haibe: So why should I not leave you to your opinion when you are confused as to what you believe, I do have better threads to face than this, I don believe in writing long epistles to prove a point buy I will just do you this favour, infact I didn't even get the point in the mumbo jumbo you quoted up there, be concise.sounding like a kid throwing temper tantrums only exposes your lack of knowledge about what you are yapping, it is either you know it or you don't, writing angrily like a thug does not help your case so calm down and learn. haibe: If you're an alert type, you might remember the 2001 discovery of an ancient bone box inscribed with the words ‘James, son of Joseph, brother of Jesus.’I read this gibberish and almost decided I was going to ignore you as it was obvious I was dealing with below average I.Q mouthing off the nonsense he heard or was told by some queer Christian scientists. Can you read the nonsense you wrote about a box of bones with the tag James son of Joseph brother to Jesus, who believes such a hogwash, your claim to Jesus's existence is an alleged bone box that makes an allusion to being that of Jesus's brother, whoever made such discovery is a fraud like many of the Christian church fathers in the habit of altering history books just to squeeze in Jesus's existence. |
Gradually, opposition in the SW region is beginning to advange of the very docile nature of the Yoruba voting populace, knowing how easy they can fall for propaganda and clannish tribal sentiments. Fashola bought bullet proof cars for all most thesame amount as Stella's yet he is being praised as the best thing since Obama while they clamour for us to kill Stella for doing thesame... I dry laugh, this APC experiment is going to engulf the whole of the SW if the people continue to let themsrlves be used as willing tools. |
haibe: Okay stick to your opinion, it's a free world.of course I expect you to bum out, so typical of christian supposed "intellectuals" to chicken out when it comes explaining the historicity of their faith. |
The story of Jesus Christ can be found only in the forged books of the New Testament, an assortment of gospels and epistles that required many centuries and hands to create. Funny enough, the NT is not a single volume; it is a combination of compiled books from very many unknown authors with influences from different pagan religions and prevailing religious practices of their time. In one of the many posts to defend the inerrancy of the Christian book, the bible was described as the inspired word of God…. That is hardly true as with little research, it will be revealed that the books of the NT were canonized (i.e the highly political early church Bishops from Rome and Alexandria raucously selecting from the over 200 gospel books in circulations which one is to be termed inspired by God and which one is to be termed Apocrypha) by mere mortals with even worse vices than an average folk. In fact, it has been demonstrably proven that the earliest NT book were not even the so-called gospels but the Pauline Epistles which basically form the Christian liturgy of today even though in comparison to the Jesus described in the Gospels, the Pauline Jesus is heavily mystical with dizzying similarities with Hellenistic mythologies and dogma. To start with, even though the various Pauline epistles contained in the New Testament form an important part of Christianity, yet these “earliest” of Christian texts never discuss a historical background of Jesus, yet Paul purportedly lived during and after Jesus’s advent and surely would have known about his master’s miraculous life. Instead, these letters deal with a spiritual construct found in various religions, sects, cults and mystery schools that had existed hundreds to thousands of years prior to the Christian era. The Pauline books do not refer to Pilate or the Romans, or Caiaphas, or the Sanhedrin, or Herod or Judas, or the holy women, or any person in the gospel account of the Passion; neither did his epistles ever make any allusion to them. You too think about it, Is it conceivable that a preacher of Jesus could go throughout the world to convert people to the teachings of Jesus, as Paul did, without ever quoting a single one of his sayings? Unless of course, he was not aware of such preaching, sermons or even miracles which points to the fact that possibly did not happen in the first place. Had Paul known that Jesus had preached a sermon, or formulated a prayer, or said many inspired things about the here and the hereafter, he could not have helped quoting, now and then, from the words of his master. If Christianity could have been established without a knowledge of the teachings of Jesus, why then, did Jesus come to teach, and why were his teachings preserved by divine inspiration? If Paul knew of a miracle-working Jesus, one who could feed the multitude with a few loaves and fishes, who could command the grave to open, who could cast out devils, and cleanse the land of the foulest disease of leprosy, who could, and did, perform many other wonderful works to convince the unbelieving generation of his divinity, is it conceivable that either intentionally or inadvertently he would have never once referred to them in all his preaching? The position, then, that there is not a single saying of Jesus in the gospels which is quoted by Paul in his many epistles is unassailable, and certainly fatal to the historicity of the gospel Jesus, a damning fact many Christians love to ignore in their arguments but rather choose to bury their head in “FAITH” |
To tell you the truth, this argument has been overflogged more than a hundred times, I even have a thread I created in which I exhaustively argued this same topic with one Mr_anonym using excerpts from a well researched book by DM Murdock, Christ conspiracy the greatest lie ever sold which also was the name of the thread. Going through that same argument to repeat myself again is one heck of a job I can no longer do again except I have to post summarised versions of my arguments there.... that being said, I like to point to you that the existence of Christ is an onus on every Christian that claims to know him should strive to prove and not the other way round. The problem I have with many Christians is the fact that they like to argue from a close-minded stand point and want you too to do thesame. Jesus's existence has for a very long time been a subject of contention amongst scholars historians and religious comparative analysts as many of the claims of the gospels are usually non-existent outside of bible whose books were canonized by highly political Roman church fathers. The Bible is neither an inerrant word of God or an unbiased history book outside of the Christian religion. Most of what we have there are distortions, half-truth, interpolations and copycat concepts from supposed pagan religions.... it can not be used as a history book to prove Jesus's existence, that is my point. |
anonimi: Just to confirm what you wrote above:China is ruthless in its pursuit of technological advancement and development, even the USA is afraid of China. Don't you see how they are gradually dominating not just our market but businesses too. The other I was going to work somewhere on the island and I saw this big hotel with Chinese people everywhere, it was like they booked up the whole hotel, yet this little minded fucktards at the NA are busy crying to government to continue to allow Nigeria be under the shackles of economic colonialism and the ignorant ones here are busy cheering them up. |
hahahaha.... some people are going to have HBP because GEJ says igbos are the backbone of his government.... lol See all these Yoruba boiz hyping the SW and arrogating fictitious political powers to the Yoruba... lol... you lot try too hard to exaggerate your importance in Nigeria, no region or tribe can boast of being the king maker in this country, that claim is nonsense, even the north and the Hausa tribe can not make such an assertion not to talk of the ever erratic Yoruba politicians that flow where their bread is best buttered and not necessarily based on principles. You lots are mad because the Igbo politicians are beginning to play it ruthlessly as well and are gaining upper hand ..... Yoruba politicians are genius but we saw how GEJ with the help of the East demystified the spurious claim to genius by the the Yoruba political class.... I bet they are still heaving with pain and shock from that last presidential election that revealed them as nothing different from any other region or tribe. |
israel007: What I really expected is for them to graatually introduce the said cars into the market and allow consumers make their own choices.it is either you are not smart or you have no idea what you are yapping about. How can you be talking of gradual introduction of locally made vehicles when they will have to compete with bigger brands that manufacture at way lower cost in Asia especially in thesame markets not to talk of the heavily subsidized American and European vehicles. Many of you need to engage your brains when posting, you make an average Nigerian seem dull with the way you analyze issues. There is no way these local auto manufacturers will be able to compete favourably with these known brands without government's support and intervention, I expect that some of you that claim to be enlightened should know this common truth, this is not rocket science. It is Nigerians like these ones that Innoson was complaining to the minister about, the ones that prefer to buy lower quality plastic from Germany instead of buying from innoson, a Nigerian with the largest plastic company on the whole of west Africa. You all think China is able to compete with America and Europe because of its superb quality? China competes by first running a monopoly of production and sales of any item in China before going out to export and competing, the government there have protectionist laws that are extreme without minding how it hurts foreign businesses, that is why in china today, of you want to compete you will have to move your plant and production facilities to China.... you can't produce in America or Europe and take it you China to sell as we foolishly do here. |
haibe: lmao, I was expecting something like this, all you have above is pure hogwash. Do a better historical study of Jesus and you will convinced beyond reasonable doubt that Jesus didn't only exist but that he was also a unique man.Yeah, I purposely posted excerpts of my response from another similar thread on the historicity of Christ. I did not see any reason for me to start giving you any fresh write up on a topic I have exhaustively argued and discused here on BLast with way more smarter and mature Christian commentators The problem I have with you is the fact that you just randomly make references to people and things you are yet to really study just so you can come across as knowledgeable. You mentioned Tacitus the Roman politician and historian but fail to explain that his references to Christianity have been found to be pure interpolations and forgeries squeezed into the man's work by early church fathers who at the time controlled litrary works of authors and had sole custody of these books..... I challenge you to explain the references in the interpolated portion of the man's work let's start from there if truly you are knowledgeable enough about history and the historicity of Christ. |
It must be noted that the centuries surrounding the beginning of the Christian era, the periods of Tiberias and Augustus, were, in fact, some of the best-documented in history, this fact is admitted even by Christian apologists. For example, the Roman historian under Augustus, Livy (59 BCE-17 CE), alone composed 142 volumes, over a hundred of which were subsequently destroyed by the Christian conspirators trying to cover their tracks. Despite this fact, however, there are basically no non-biblical references to a historical Jesus by any known historian of the time during and after Jesus’s purported advent. Is not strange that no literate person of his own time mentioned him in any known writing. Eminent Hellenistic Jewish historian and philosopher Philo (20 BCE-50 CE), who wad alive at the purported time of Jesus, was silent on the subject of the great Jewish miracle maker and rabblerouser who brought down the wrath of Rome and Judea. Nor are Jesus and his followers mentioned by any of the some 40 other historians who wrote during the first and second centuries of the Common Era, including Plutarch, the Roman biographer, who lived at the same time (46-120 CE) and in the same place where the Christians were purportedly swarming yet made no mention of them, their founder or their religion. Yet in this mass of Jewish and Pagan literature, aside from two forged passages in the works of a Jewish author, and two disputed passages in the works of Roman writers, there is to be found no mention of Jesus Christ. Unless you choose to be daft by choice, common sense will tell you that it is either the man Jesus with all his noise making miracles and antics was a fairytale concocted by the early church fathers from the pre-existing litany of pagan worship and dogma or he just never existed at no time, why will there be such difficulties when it comes to the person of Jesus giving the length and breadth of his exploits when lesser mortals of thesame time have both archeological evidence, writings and paintings. |
haibe: So History division into BC and AD is new to you? Why not reject it and make a change since the birth of Christ is mythical. .hahaha.....are you trying to be smart or your ability to comprehend simple logic is flawed.... you were trying to justify the birth of your Christ through the dating system of BC and AD and I queried your logic by asking you to tell me how logical it is for you to use a Christian invention to support the birth of Christ....outside of the biblical fairy tale, there is no known historical document that points to or talked about Christ and his work yet there are thousands of books written about prominent people that existed at the time, unless it is a coincidence that he Christ was particularly singled out not to be properly documented by the known historians of the time then how do you explain his existence. Jesus is a mixed of different mythological characters put together, there is a reason why no one can point to how he looks, his birth or even his so-called disciples.....all we have are pseudo documents from unknown authors named after his disciples....and you think people should not ask questions? |
haibe: So the person's birth which divided history into BC and AD is a myth?? This world must be mythical then. Even the famous atheists do not question the birth of Christ.hahaha...how old is the kid who invented the BC and the AD dating system, Christians or Muslims?..lolwhich famous atheist do not question the birth of Christ, Oyedepo or Adeboye! what a joke. |

martha: I'm a polite person. I'll tell you excuse me and shut the f*ck up in the same sentence.tell that to Jesus, I am sure that will get you Richie heaven. |
iamSi: Sorry Mr. Rhymz , Please don't send me to the surgeon yet ... I just wanna know your religion and how far you have traveled globally... Please I beg of you, don't send me to the hospital.. I just wanna be a friendwhat exactly is your point, Mr ![]() |
martha: U are a fool with prideHashanah....typical of Christ like goons to get militant when logic fails them or facts expose their ignorance.....I challenge you to come up with documented evidence of Jesus's existence, if you can't then go to hell, you're just another Christian goon with q bamboozled mental capacity.....you probably have been told that you will go to hell if you dare question the biblical fables that is rife with lies and inconsistencies. can you tell us what Jesus looked like? abeg go siddon for gutter you nincompoop |
andico34: yes you are correct. JESUS was born in the early fall. infact the 17th day of the month of TISHRI the 7th month in the midst of the FEAST OF THE TABERNACLES. This corresponds to our sept to early oct. Is it in the BIBLE? YESBy the way, how come it is so hard to tell the exact date when Jesus was born, yet they claim he started teaching in the temple at the age of 12 and died at 32. How can you put a figure to a man's age when you can't exactly tell when he was born? Na wa o! |
martha: Father forgive this guy for he doesnt know what he is sayingYou are the one that needs some brain surgery if you think Jesus Christ realy was a person that actually existed at some point. Even Paul the almighty Christian Forger did not know who really Jesus was instead he gave his own Gnostic version of a christ different from the one in the gospels..... Paul was not aware of Jesus's miracles or sayings yet he was preaching about q christ that was a contemporary....open your eyes and see all the inconsistencies of the bible. |
Now that APC is no longer having the underdog tag, game is going to ne very different especially now that there are disgruntled elements from the PDP with their political baggage, all that sentiments they started with have already started wearing off, Nigerians are beginning to see their true colour, it is not about Common folks but individual party men's interests .... APC will surely lose ground in SW if they do their homework well...I foresee PDP doing what they did to APC in Anambra in the worst case scenario. |
martha: 7–2 BCbullshyt..... First question to ask is did he really exist or was he just one of the those mythological characters created by roman-greeko fairy tale. how come it was so easy to have his words written down by Hod knows who but thesame aliens can mot tell exactly when the dude was born exactly....stoopid tales. The bible is one big fraud. |
It is q pity that majority of the people commenting are doing so based on the propaganda that has continually been fed to them by APC and the SW media, the plan to increase tariff on auto importation is very necessary one if we hope to grow our auto industry, the ediot condemning the move at the house of reps has obviously been lobbied with cash gifts and free auto by thesame foreign automakers that have refused to set up their plants but instead choose to conveniently import them from nearby south Africa and their home countries. How can anyone be saying we are yet to build our local capacity when we have the likes of innoson doing it against all odds, I have personally ridden in his bus in Enugu, some of them are part of the Young shall grow fleet of buses that ply the east-west roads everyday. If innoson can do it even with all the endless challenges and still be in business, I don't see why the likes of KIA, Honda, Toyota and co can not set up their plants here and compete. There are already moribund auto companies in this country that can be revived by virtue of this policy, investment can go into them and resuscitate them back, these same companies once built vehicles driven by the high and mighty in this country, why will an intelligent law maker choser for the country to continue to import cars even when there are obvious indications that serious investment and partnership are beginning to ho into that sector. What about the technological transfer that such will bring to young Nigerians in auto engineering field especially, all these idiots see are the short term benefits. Do you know that more than 70% of the profit from this foreign auto dealers goes back to their home countries, how much do they realy pay Nigerians working there compared to their counterparts there. Besides, outside of importers how many people are gainfully employed by the auto sector of this country compared to other sector, a handful, the rest is in the informal aspect of the sector. It is high time Nigerians use their brains and stop letting the goons in APC fill their head with noise making propaganda, there are way more benefits for us if we developed our own auto sector now than wait forever. |
APC is one big political fraud and pretender . |
hooged: The Bible’s answerthe question is was he ever born or just another myth? |
bregeard: who d hell is criss angel,nd if dis so caled criss did den it must be some kinda voodoo...wah kinda power wuld make u walk on waterthe type the mythological Jesus had.....roman-greeko fairy tales. |
Ceorhemz: That is not what I am looking for in a lady. That wont stop a lady from infidelity, or make her stand with me in tensed periord. You didnt even mention the key issues like the fear of God, the love of God, sound character, moral uprightness, sound intellect, good body, education and literacy level, house keeping and management etc. Those you mention can only sustain the courtship and the first few months of the marriage.what exactly is the fear of God and love of God? I particularly can't stand churchy ladies, they are so annoying with their self cultivated piety screams of restrictions and boredom. |
kambo: Hahaha. He'll learn his lesson in heaven.Yeah right, Chris Angel did it too, so what? |
kambo: Actually, there's no where in d bible tht said a miracle needed to b born out of necessity.I see a lot of stoopid people everyday this one seems to be one of them.....abeg pack your Elijah tales go roast bole.. |
That is what happens when people fill their head with biblical tales by moonlight stories, Jesus feeding a thousand people with few loafs and fishes and everyone clapped and believed such a foolish tale....white people sha don turn us to mumu... |

who invented the BC and the AD dating system, Christians or Muslims?..lol
The book Daily Life in the Time of Jesus notes that flocks lived in the open air from “"the week before the Passover [late March]"” through mid-November. It then adds: “"They passed the winter under cover; and from this alone it may be seen that the traditional date for Christmas, in the winter, is unlikely to be right, since the Gospel says that the shepherds were in the fields."”
