This is actually a very useless thread abeg. First: As much as It's commendable, all the money he is using for charity was never his in the first place, It's all still money from the worshipers... Secondly: Who told him there are no more poor people in Nigeria to help. He's a pastor for God's sake! The money for that jet would still go a long way to help people that has not felt his benevolent touch. Just my own opinion. Any pastor using all these exuberant luxury is not a true man of God, Jesus was never this flamboyant |
Guy is just a guy man and all these current hypes about him are paid for to attract victims to his on going fraud of a project. The hype about Lorenzo has been going on for at least 3 years and no visible progress. Guy is probably getting broke now and needs more money from potential victims hence the recent hypes. I'd give it to him though, he's charismatic, a great speaker and know how to use big words and English to deceive gullible Nigerian youths. We've seen his type before and he's not going to be the last of his type... I'd advice Nigerian youths not to fall for all these overnight success stories without a visible verifiable path to their so-called billions, you can easily deviate from your own path to success by getting carried away by their phantom success and wanting to be like them. And to people like Sujimoto; We're all Nigerians, we know as e dey go. Run your scam and make your money in peace, don't just come to the public space and try to force your fake success stories down our throats to mislead unsuspecting young people. It's the most selfish thing anyone could ever do |
The Ignorance on this thread is almost alarming or I should rather say the lack of doing a little research before jumping to conclusion on a topic. Aregbesola has been running a multi religion government since he came into power so, this holiday is not a new thing. He even have a day set aside every year to commemorate traditional religion and just like this; that day is also a public holiday every year in Osun state, does that mean he also wants to turn the state to a traditional religion state?? |
Guy was in the music game way back and he's one hell of a great artist. I'm still a huge fan of his "moonlight serenade" and "as the world turns" songs. You can check out both on youtube. I believe he's learned a lot from his hiatus and he knows what he's doing. He has great potential of making It big in music. I just hope he reaches his full potential and he has figured out a way to work around the Nigerian music market |
From my own little understanding, this is not just peculiar to medical practitioners. It's general attribute of very Intelligent people and of course, medical practitioners are mostly Intelligent. From what I've read; with very Intelligent people, their brains work really fast so, for the hand to catch up with the reasoning of the brain, they have to write pretty fast hence the handwriting end up not being so legible most of the time and for proof, I've hardly met any very brilliant person with great handwriting |
In as much as I believe there are spiritual problems and attacks, I'd like to say most of the time, what we Nigerians see as spiritual problems are not spiritual, they are just normal problems of life....Nature works in a way that there has to be some sort of balance, things can't be going smoothly all the time but trust Nigeria, once we have few problems consecutively, we scream spiritual and start running from pillar to post. Now that I've said that, even If you have spiritual attacks, the way you handle It is very Important to solving your Issues. Most of the time, we tend to abandon everything we're doing and start jumping from one spiritual house to another just like the OP did, leaving abroad to come back to Nigeria to look for solutions when almost all the pastors out there are fakes and just looking for who to swindle and turn to their ATM If you know you have spiritual problems, the most Important thing for you to do is praying but also equally Important is for you to keep working hard at whatever you're doing, keep the hustle on and keep praying hard, don't ever stop working, don't ever stop trying hard, don't go to one spiritual house or mountain and stay there for months, God is not a magician, you have to work to be able to succeed...Get your family to keep praying for you as well, It might take some time but eventually ways will open. OP, you made a mistake by abandoning everything abroad to return to Nigeria but It's not too late, whatever It is you studied, whatever It is you learned, get back to It, start looking for job, look for a hustle, keep praying HARD and keep working HARD, God is not a wicked God and he has powers over all principalities and I believe he will answer you but you also have a huge part to play, It's even written in the Bible, faith without work is nothing....I've said my piece... |
OP, add Reminisce's Baba Hafusa Album to the list....debuted at No 12 on the Billboard World Album Chart as recent as last year. http://pulse.ng/buzz/reminisce-baba-hafusa-hits-12th-spot-on-billboard-world-album-chart-id3772750.html |
Lilimax:From what I can tell, the husband was probably not her first choice when she wanted to get married, maybe she didn't marry the ex due to some reasons beyond the control of either of them. The husband probably knew that and maybe hurriedly proposed marriage thinking that will totally end whatever It is between them..That must be why he's Insecure about that particular ex because I'm sure that's that's not the only ex she has. The truth is some people don't just stop loving each other and as long as the ex still wants something to do with her. The only way is If the ex forgot about her himself. So, the husband either pray the ex does that or get the wife to really beg him to let go. Changing number is not going to solve anything. |
If you still have an ex that your husband is insecure about up to the point of him asking you to change your number, then he shouldn't have married you. Even If you change your number, It's obvious you and this ex still has feelings for each other and something will definitely happen along the line. That's why people really need to be sure before they get married |
You all commenting don't seem to know the history of this TIME's magazine Influential list..At least 10-15% of this list every year has always been bad people. TIMES only look at how these people have been able to affect the world, the economy, how often they make the news and all that, they don't care If It's in a positive or negative way. Every terrorist leader of the past Decade, Cartel Leaders and even the North Korean Dictator have consistently made the list every year so, this is not about conspiracy or particularly about Shekau, that is how it has always been |
The question every Intelligent Nigerians should have asked is which source released the Buhari's Interview picture in the first place. I've combed the Internet for every copy of that picture and every accompanying posts and no where did APC officially released those pictures claiming they were of Buhari having Interview in London. Those pictures made It to the WebSphere and It's either overzealous Buhari fans that titled the photos has been taken in London or It was PDP that tagged the pictures as Buhari's London Interview photos knowing they are gonna play politics with them. I'm leaning towards this being a whole PDP set up afterall since Fayose knows he's being shamed so, he had to come up with something to this create doubts in the mind of a few gullible Nigerians. My 2 cents |
Been a while I read a post as useless and baseless as this. The soldier complaining on twitter knew what he was doing, he wanted the new to get out about what they were facing, he needed a platform to get It all out which twitter provided and LIB actually even helped him to get his words out to a wider audience so, the soldier eventually got what he wanted. LIB broadcasting the tweet is well beneficial to the citizens so that we know actually what these boys are facing out there not all the sh*t and propaganda lies one Olukolade wanted us to believe.. If you actually read the tweets, you'd know this soldier wanted everyone to get the gist which LIB helped achieve |
List ain't complete without Pasuma and K1 the ultimate |
Omo, see hating... People can like to be local champions on NL sha.. you ever bother to go on the original YouTube link and see the good reviews this very nice song and video is getting? Even from Non-Nigerians... the song is dope and the video reps the song perfectly. One love Jago |
I am going to say this that I do believe the Ese woman is a victim of the COZA pastor, In as much as she is an adult and knows right from wrong.. you can't tell how manipulative these Pentecostal pastors can be until you happen to encounter them. They are naturally talented smooth talkers that teach in a way that can easily brainwash church members. We all know how gullible Nigerians can be when It comes to religion, even the males so she just fell victim of all the my pastor gimmicks. I know a lot of COZA members and I always see them as victims of mental manipulations so I don't really blame them all they do in the name of their church.. COZA is one church in which members are encouraged to wake up and listen to audio CDs of their pastor preaching Instead of praying and reading their bible so that God could teach them himself. I have witnessed this first hand and know how It works. |
If you're familiar with COZA or anyone that attends COZA then you wouldn't have a problem believing this girl's story at all. The pastor is literally worshiped by the church members and have this way of teaching that is manipulative in nature so you end up living your life to please your pastor and his teachings no matter what. Once knew a church worker there that sleeps on a mat at home, in a face 2 face room but had to dress to kill and live a fake life in church just to follow his pastor's teaching that they must be "shining" outside as church workers. |
All you people making comments here without asking the necessary question which should be how Standard the University is, we just assume without checking out the facts, the University's websites was even provided in the post but I bet most people didn't even bother to check. Yes, the University is owned by Chief Micheal Ade Ojo who is the chairman of Toyota Nigeria Limited and Elizade motors and I can tell you that this is by far the best equipped private University in Nigeria as at today, the facilities are State of the art and they thrive to provide quality education, that's why you're seeing Ph. D as the minimum requirement even for lecturer one.. if you think they are doing this for the purpose of accreditation, you're mistaken because the man is too well connected and can use his money and Influence to buy accreditation If he wants to. I'm making a well Informed comment here because I've been to the University and I'm so Impressed with everything that is on ground there |
I use a HTC sensation XE and my screen got cracked earlier today, still working perfectly though but I'd like to have It fixed so does anyone in the house know how much the whole screen or just the touch screen costs and how I can get it.. Thanks all |
Please house, I need to buy battery for HTC HD2.. anyone know where I can get and the price? thanks |
My HTC sensation xe screen got broken this morning....does anyone have an Idea how much it cost to buy a replacement? |
In Olamide's voice: "Other rappers be like Naija, dem no dey reach final" Watched it but not surprised at the result |
I'm finding it hard to believe this ranking with North Korea being so down in the ranking and South Korea being way ahead of them. Anyone should be educate me on this because I've been made to believe North Korea is a military country and could easily erase the whole of South Korea If the South doesn't get help from US and other world Powers. Nice one for Nigeria though |
dadicvila: EXODUS by LEON URIS.......I have read hundreds of novels but believe me EXODUS stands out.......MASTER OF THE GAME and A TIME TO KILL by SIDNEY SHELDON and JOHN GRISHAM comes closeEXODUS happens to be my best novel ever as well and I have lost count of all the novels I've read so far. To me, that's the king of Novels. "In the name of the Father" and "Man of Fire" by A.J Quinnel are also masterpieces |
saxywale: I guess you are from Modakeke (descendants of Oyo People). The fact still remains that Oranmiyan, the direct son of oduduwa eventually ruled and his linage had continually produced Ooni's (Ogboru, Otutu and Osinkola) since then.Where I'm from doesn't matter on this but the fact of the matter, that's why you will never hear of any descendant of Oduduwa accepting that the Ooni is superior, even the Bini people doesn't. There is no disputing the fact of Ife being the spiritual home of every Yoruba but this is not an Issue about Ife but about the Ooni and Alaafin. |
Interesting how lots of people read different history online and just claim one is superior than the other.. The ooni will always tell the stories in his favor while the Alaafin will always do the same hence the different accounts and counter accounts we're having.. I'm fortunate enough to come from Ife area and heard the histories orally from elders. Does anyone even have an Idea that Ooni is not the real king of Ife but "Obalufe" Anyone can check the history on this. The Ooni was the son of a slave and never a direct descendant of Oduduwa |
Terry's mom died a long time ago... The track "Someday" on his BANS album was dedicated to her and happens to be one of my favorite tracks off the album.. RIP Mrs Madaki |
How much is the ride, I'm seriously interested. |
GARRI (x7):No, I didn't check the source but that does not in any way diminish my point about the Title being misleading... I was only making a point |
Billyonaire: Educated man, every little success leads to a final success. Councillorship position not withstanding, its an indicator that ACN rigged its way. 2 overturns from ACN to PDP shows that the process was fraudulent, not free, not fair. One can not be wrong to say that its possible that the Governor was rigged in.I can't but wonder why some people chose to take medicine for another man's headache and you have just proven to be one of those semi-Illiterates because the point you raised here did not in any way dispute my earlier claim but only raised another point entirely. My post was in response to the OP's title of the post which was obviously misleading and that's what I tried to point you. If you want to reply to my post, you should at least allow your post to be in direct contradiction to mine |
Nairaland and bunch of semi-illiterates here claiming to be educated.. this is a ward elections which means It's a councillorship post not a full local governmental post so If this is even the case eventually, ACN only lose a ward out of the hundreds of wards in Lagos State! |
From all Indications, the results coming in are what was initially expected with LP leading in the Central Senatorial district while ACN is holding forth in the North, not much results from the south so far though.. I'm actually impressed with ACN's strong showing in the central even though LP is leading there, I didn't expect them so get that much votes from Akure especially. This might as well go into run off |
olatunde1234: ACN? Come and ask Oyo people, Akala regim is far better than this Godfatherism party regimWhich Oyo people are you talking about? Abeg, don't even go there except you're one of those that are blind to real development and only embrace throwing money around without any meaningful progress |

The two families became friends till they travelled out of the country. Lesson: there should be a level of trust in a marriage without which the marriage will be shaky and may be heading for the rock.
