BiafraIShere: Honestly, I weep for this hopeless and worthless geographical expression. Nnamdi Kanu (posterity is already judging him well) came to the rescue of the beleaguered country, he was like a lone voice in the wilderness crying for justice and equal rights for all against the caliphate but what happened, the whole country isolated him and turned it into an Igbo affair before descending on him with blatant falsehood, propaganda and military might against a pressure group that carried no arms yet they were labeled a terrorist organization! Due to his vociferous and fearless attitude in challenging the Fulani controlled Nigeria, other minorities began to muster the courage to challenge the status quo and demand for restructuring but the Fulani led FG became afraid and had to send the army to crush a peaceful agitation and ironically again, the rest of the equally suffering Nigerians cheered the army for their barbaric acts against IPOB!! Oga shut up. I am igbo like the most of you. Nnamdi Kanu is foolish and power drunk. You don't fight a battle of this magnitude by intentionally creating enemies, insulting people everywhere and his followers even called their own sisters "ashawo" for some silly reasons. Was it not on nairaland a bastard called Stephanie okereke ashawo just because her husband aired his view about the whole agitation. You guys had a good intention with very very bad approach. Accept it. You created fear in people as is they will be captivated and oppressed after the biafra is won, like power drunk idiots with too much boasting, unknown to many of you, that was the vibes you were giving off without knowing.. The Federal government saw your weakness and capitalize on it. Game over! |

NyscTroubled: Good morning. I am under immense pressure from my mom to redeploy back to the southern part of the country.
Here's the story
I am the only child of my mom and I am Serving in Kwara, batch B stream 1. Initially, when I first printed call up letter and saw Kwara, I didn't want to report to camp but she convinced me that it wasn't bad. After all it's just for a year and I can take care of myself.
Now barely 3 months into service, she has been calling me almost everyday crying that i redeploy back to the south. She keeps saying she's having recurring bad dreams for over 3 weeks about where I am. Calls me more than 10 times daily to check on me.
Now I afraid because of her blood pressure. I mean I have travelled before and left home for years but this hasn't happened. She already called this morning crying. My grandma too had to call me crying and accusing me of wanting to kill her daughter. Looks like she is overly depressed. They And she keeps saying if something happens to me she will kill herself.
Please, guys what do I do? She has never requested anything from me before. Is family pressure enough reason to redeploy back south? If yes how do I go about it? Omo am just 23 and can't bear the thought of something happening to her because she's all I really have.. You should be slapped. Redeploy immediately before I come there and drag u out. If that woman cries again cos of this, I flog u koboko |

But it has grown in leaps and bounds. It surpassed my expectations. When I started contributing to the discourse, it was just a nice way to pass the time. But then the stories of the founders and entrepreneurs inspired me.
Along the line, I stumbled on a few companies whose services caught my attention, and I thought I should probably find out if I could offer some of my products and services to them. I contacted 11 of them, 6 responded, and at the tail end of last year, I made good progress with 4 already. By the end of the first quarter, we should be signing the contracts, God willing!! Kn23h....I owe you a debt of gratitude! Honestly, may God bless you on all sides, in cash and kind. I hope one day to translate this gratitude into something more substantial. Thank you again and again!

sirxbit: If that works for u fyn Non be everybody prayer dey work for Some don't need to prayer to find solutions to problem. I hate it when u guys tink everytin is about prayer. Sit down and think. Any small tin prayer prayer It's getting annoying bros, I know our religious leaders have failed in their respective duties but that is not enough for me to deny the existence of God. I don't even attend church that much. Last year was not even up to 10 times but I will never become an atheist. When I say prayer, I don't even kneel to pray but there is this inner connection I indulge in when I ask God for help. Funny enough my prayer is just 3 words, repeated 3 times and it end there. I say this words when I need help and I say it wherever and whenever the needs arises. I might be walking along the road and say it. This is to give you another perspective to this Church, religion ish... I say these words because I know I have no one or brother anywhere that can help me. It is just me and my life. Now where majority of religious zealous Nigerians make mistake and what separates people like me from them is that I have sought wisdom in learning many things that can add value to my life. So all I need to do is ask God to direct me using my already acquired knowledge. What the OP of this thread shared is a lesson many of us have learned from over 10 years ago and we have been using it to sustain ourselves. Many of the products most you purchase anywhere in Nigeria are from member of my circle. What the guy stated can be found in the Bible to some extent where "wisdom" is talked about. We use leverages but it is not easy for many of us as there are times we do not get what we hope for but our lives is somewhat not as bad as the larger population so much that we can't count 100k... So what I talked about in my maiden post is that I looked at my circle and realise that everybody is doing same thing and I wanted to stand out. Everybody is using method and this often lead to neck breaking saturations. This led me to what I am working... So it began. I wanted something that is long term (many of the guys in my circle often jump from one post to another) I wanted something that is good enough to test my patience (I am forking freaking impatient idiot) as I was willing to build a brand name for myself. Trust me, you don't want to know what I have been through I wanted to stand out. I wanted something that will pay me at least 1Millon naira per deal after everything is done and the most important is I wanted it to be recurring. You don't want to know what it feels like re-evaluate yourself and go for it as I wanted to do all these offline. Just imagine. Trust me when I say I know stuff but I wanted more and in a different angle entirely where I had no single connection to make this happen. I am an introvert and you know the life of an introvert as they don't mix with people much and how does such a person succeed offline and add to the fact that I am even in a new environment where I don't know much people beyond the less than 10 I interact with. I had to ask God for wisdom... And within the less than 10 people I interact with I got a connection. This is where you can exchange your knowledge /wisdom for your weakness. I do hope you understand. I am not a fanatic that current Nigerian pastors have turned almost everyone in Nigeria into where people believe all they have to do is pray and do nothing else. I just get out of bed and get going. I pray when I feel like. God already laid the law that WORK so that you can feed. No amount of Nigerian pastors sermon can make ignore that. And that is why no matter your religion or believe, if you work hard with leverage, you will most definitely hit a jackpot.... The law is irreversible as it is set on motion already. Happy New Year |

It came as a surprise so much that I gave it my all and have been chasing this thing that could almost explode in mid 2018 and beyond. I can never reveal what is but the idea makes me so determined that I am fighting to see the end results, no matter the failure. |

KingSango: He who hesitates is a fight is sure to lose.
There's no disputing the facts of this thread.
I am in America and I've come to find this out to be very true that Yoruba people are the most industrious, prosperous and most educated African people on Earth.
This is the rise of Nigeria as a great empire state that would benefit all of West Africa and beyond. How could it be a bad thing? Sometimes this silly rivalry is taken way, way, way, too far with Nigerians. Like the other day, Twitter explodes over which women look the best between Igbos and Yorubas? That's silly. They are both Nigerian women and there's very little difference in the bloodlines after all these centuries of mixing. None of you look like East Africans so that makes you look the same in my eyes.
Sango is the greatest Nigerian ever and his legacy a cultural heritage for every Nigerian.
