this is actually what I plan to do. Maybe it will get him out of his comfort zone.

I didn't renew our DSTV subsciption when it expired so we havent watched tv in more than a week. Also, I plan to stop subscibing for our prepaid meter for electricity.
I will also reduce our feeding to twice a day. If he still doesn't budge then once a day.
I don't know how some men get so comfortable in collecting money from people regularly. Ah... my God, I would hate myself so much under such circumstance. People get mind o.
BusinessRe: Britain To Invest In Nigeria’s Oil Pipelines, Others by robotix: 7:28am On Jul 24, 2017
Truth234:
The British government has said it will invest in Nigeria’s oil pipeline infrastructure, renewable energy, as well as gas and power.

The British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr. Paul Arkwright, disclosed this when the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mr. Ndu Ughamadu, paid a courtesy visit to the Chancery of the British High Commission in Abuja.

Arkwright said Britain had genuine investment interests in the downstream, midstream and upstream sectors of the Nigerian oil and gas industry.

He noted that the British Department for International Trade was ready to liaise with the Federal Government to invest in Nigeria.

The high commissioner also urged the Federal Government and the NNPC to organise a roadshow in London to create awareness on the possible investment opportunities available in the Nigerian oil and gas sector.

Arkwright said many British investors had funds, which they were willing to invest in Nigeria, stressing, however, that the process of obtaining Nigerian visa in the UK was cumbersome with three different levels of visa procurement fees as well as Nigeria’s postal order system.

In his response, Ughamadu, on behalf of the Group Managing Director of the corporation, Dr. Maikanti Baru, condoled with the British government over the recent terror attacks on the UK.

He assured the high commissioner and his team in Nigeria that the corporation would sustain the cordial relations between both countries.

from d look of tinz...d guy don taya
The North is synonymous to death.... I laugh when Igbos feel marginalized lol... they do not realised that they are way better than a lot of Northern kids. Beggars from the North should be over 1Million or more. They are completely disadvantaged and that is true definition of marginalization. So if their leaders can't save them, is it the entire Nigeria they can save? It gives credence to the fact that South are better at managing the affairs of this country...

RomanceRe: The Hypocrisy Displayed Against Broke Guys By Nigerian Ladies by robotix: 10:15am On Jul 20, 2017
sunshineG:
What is hypocrisy?
According to the dictionary hypocrisy is claiming to have a higher standard than is the case.

In recent social discussions, many young ladies often term young men with rude and uncultured behavior as broke guys. They claim that only a broke guy can insult ladies because they have no money. Perhaps, they are justified in trying to defend themselves, but are they justified in terming all rude or uncultured men broke? Can't rich men just be as rude and uncultured?

The Nigerian music industry comes to mind, where most of the slangs used in insulting ladies emerged. A perfect example is the word olosho used in describing promiscuous activities of ladies. Therefore rich men are just as rude. Nonetheless, many young ladies idolize most artist in the music industry because of their money and fame.

Hence, the double standards, why not insult the artist? why do most ladies still idolize the artist because of their money and insult the broke guy for sometimes doing nothing? Why the display Of hypocrisy against the broke guy?
Are you broke?

RomanceRe: Guys Have You Ever Regretted Not Telling A Girl, You Have Feeling For Her? by robotix: 7:46am On Jul 20, 2017
25thJOE:
Sometimes it's better to be silent , keep our pride and avoid rejection. I had a crush on this girl since last year , and I was shy to talk to her so I admired from afar. Later I discovered she didn't like my type, so I wasn't her taste for an ideal guy.
If I had gone ahead to tell her my true feelings, I would have received an hot slap from her and become a center of gossip.
GBAM I have been looking for someone with a similar experience. I rarely approach girls, especially when I like one. I take my time. Well because I delayed on during NYSC, she got hooked with another corper within a week at our PPA. It appear things went sour between them after over 7 months, then she even complained to me and all along I hid my feelings.

One day, I opened up to her when she led me on by saying I should marry her. Same girl withdrew when I opened up. Apparently, she didn't like my type even though the guy she dated during out NYSC treated her like trash....

I later regretted opening up to her... It is not every girl that you see have a feeling for that you should open up to. Like in this my case, it is best to bury things for good and save yourself the whole shitload

lol... most of you will turn down the guy quickly. I once opened up to a girl and she turned me down even though the guy she was dating had no plans for her and she even complained to me at that time.

do you know how much I pay aday in Oshodi ,idumota I pay 7k every day in Oshodi on 24th December I paid 18,300k
Oga the trend started by Igbos on nairaland and I will keep saying it is a shame what these guys do. Telling me I am not an igbo person just shows myopic and self centered you are just like the rest of them on here. @Ishilove already said it that someone will say I am not igbo... why? Because it is has ALWAYS been the trend on here because you people are just too predictable. I can easily predict that the first new tribal thread that will be created on Monday will be from an Igbo person. Do you want to bet with me? Nonsense!

You are not my father, Neither are you my cousin and nephew from Akwuzu, Anambra and I do not even care what you think I am. Anybody who does not share your stupid ideology is not an Igbo man. I do not blame you and I have completely accepted the fact that an AVERAGE igbo man is moronic boastful dolt...

Any little chance you all get, the next thing you hear : Igbos are the most this, most that... richest this, intelligent that... BUT in all of these, no Igbo man is on the FIRST 5 richest people in Africa according to forbes.

You have completely given Igbos a bad image on Nairaland and I say well done to all of you who engage in these tribal wars. Why wouldn't people from other ethnic groups be scared of even joining BIAFRA when you can easily boast like this with the slightest opportunity?

Most of you who use what Innoson does to boast, calling it manufacturing instead of assemblage of imported body parts, I say well done.

To be fair, the are correct!

That is one huge funny problem with Nigeria. We just like rhetoric. That's how people voted in APC without asking what they meant by change.

I support restructuring. Maybe I should try come out with a document on how we should restructure. Infact, I would.

In truth, all this rubbish posted here is NOT an appropriate response to what the igbos posted. Naming CEO's, taxi owners, ose gidi, alabukun powder, airport owners, insurance firm owners bla bla bla DO NOT equate to 'what Yaribas have produced'.They dont! None of them is a product worthy of mention neither can they match the indigenous products of the igbos. Not one of the useless names is an indigenous brainy industrial establishment. These One-off products scattered all over foreign land is Not a match for the industrous achievements of the igbos in Enugu.
As a forward thinking igbo man who so much HATE pride and boastful tendencies, If I had my way to bomb most of you who come here to boast of this and that, I will do it without blinking.

You people are causing so much problems on Nairaland. You are ALWAYS THE FIRST to BOAST. I have been on nairaland long enough to see how you guys completely turned it into a boxing competition.

The Yorubas hardly brag but you guys will always drag them in. You are always the first to create thread to attack them. You may want to deny this like most of you do. You created a forking thread asking what Yorubas produce? Why? What for? As in, they were minding their business/sleep and you decided to disturb them with your boastful noise again.

With all the noise you make on nairaland one will think Igbos are the richest in Africa or even the world. It also give credence to the fact that IF Igbos were "truly" the richest in the world, they will so much so much so much step on others, mock them to death BUT God doesn't bless boastful people so much to put them in that kind of position. I mean God giving Igbos the place of Bill Gates is cruelty to the world if the nuisance you all cause here is anything to go by.

I don't even want to waste my time on this except to let you fools know how shameful and disgracefully nuisance you are.

It's a shame.

Nigerians should be praying for these people instead of passing derogatory comments against them..imagine the kind of work the acting president has been doing to keep things in order ..running to London to and fro as if he was visiting Lagos ..to whom much is given much is indeed required.. The citizens should soak them with prayers to enable the president get healed fast & resume back to his work.. The acting president needs wisdom to operate as acting & deputy at the same time without giving room for administrative laxity .. May the Lord turn things around for us in the land .
Buhari is the cause. I can bet every person in the south wants Osibanjo there BUT buhari is the major problem and his brothers.

During the first hand over of the acting president status, did you see how Osibanjo sprang into action, hosting meetings here and there? Now compare to the second one and tell me what went wrong as he has seem to have slowed down the pace. You can imagine. It"s obvious that they have told him to slow things because of the cheers that were emanating from hinterlands, which means that are not happy that peace was permeating, they are not happy with resolution tactics deployed but they just want to see the masses in pains and agony.
