socialmediaman:
Is this realistic? Feasible? Because the more Hamas tries to fight Israel, the more Palestine loses territory after military operations from Israel

Even when Egypt experienced an attack from militants in Palestine, they built a wall along their border with Palestine and exiled Palestinians living close to the Egypt Palestine border
It's the only basis for peace in that region. The Israelis just have to give up the lands they've stolen or war it out till eternity

Israelis are land grabbers and proponents of Apartheid. They should hand over the land they stole back to it's rightful owners

Oblitz:
Nestled in the heart of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, stands a testament to faith and architectural ingenuity - the International Christian Worship Center. More than just a place of worship, this colossal structure has become a symbol of unity, hope, and cultural significance for the region.

A Beacon of Interdenominational Harmony

Conceived as a space for Christians of all denominations to come together in fellowship, the Worship Center transcends individual churches and fosters a spirit of unity under one roof. This inclusivity is reflected in the design itself, devoid of specific denominational markings, allowing each visitor to find their own spiritual connection within its walls.

Architectural Marvel:

Stepping into the Worship Center is akin to entering a modern-day cathedral. Its awe-inspiring design, resembling a majestic aircraft taking flight, soars skyward, symbolizing the ascent of prayers and aspirations. The central cross, enveloped in the flowing curves of the building, serves as a constant reminder of the faith that unites the diverse Christian community within.

Beyond Worship:

The Worship Center is not just about Sundays. It pulsates with life throughout the week, offering a multitude of facilities and activities. A sprawling museum showcases the rich Christian heritage of the region, while a well-equipped library provides a haven for knowledge seekers. For those seeking solace, dedicated prayer rooms offer quiet spaces for introspection and communion with the divine.

A Catalyst for Community:

The Center's impact extends beyond its physical walls. It serves as a hub for various social initiatives, offering medical assistance, educational programs, and vocational training to the local community. This commitment to social responsibility underscores the Worship Center's dedication to not only nurturing the spiritual well-being of its congregation but also uplifting the lives of those around it.

A Journey of Faith:

Visiting the International Christian Worship Center is an experience that transcends religion. It's a journey of faith, a testament to human ingenuity, and a celebration of the unifying power of shared beliefs. Whether you're a devout Christian seeking spiritual solace or an architecture enthusiast marveling at its grandeur, the Worship Center leaves a lasting impression, reminding us that even in our diverse world, unity and hope can soar on wings of faith.

The International Christian Worship Center in Uyo is more than just a building; it's a living testament to the power of faith, community, and architectural brilliance. As its spires reach towards the heavens, it serves as a beacon of hope and unity, not just for Christians in Nigeria but for people of all faiths around the world.

If you ever find yourself in Uyo, take some time to visit this architectural marvel and experience its unique blend of faith, community, and artistic expression.

PoliticsRe: Dangote Is Now Known As A Yahoo Yahoo Billionaire by Roger3D(m): 12:41pm On Dec 29, 2023
googlepikins:
December is coming to an end and there's still no kerosene coming out of the refinery as he promised.

As David Hundiyen said on Twitter, they want to use the storing of crude oil in those empty tanks to deceive gullible Nigerians because they know majority of Nigerians don't know you can store crude oil in tanks for years without using it.

NNPC invested 20% of Nigerians tax payers money there, so technically my money is invested there.

I had said this since 2021 that I know someone who work for an engineering firm there daily since 2018 . As he said 2-3 years ago, Dangote needs serious funds to complete that complex and until we hear in the news that he has raised funds for the completion of the refinery that's when there will be hope. And this international VCs don't give money in secrecy.

Every other thing on the news is just Nigerian PR agencies writing articles after collecting payments.

Ladies and gentlemen their PR agencies have been paid to tell us they have shifted the goal post till end of next year, it's no longer this year. Case close

PoliticsRe: Do Not JAPA Before Dangote Refinery Starts. You Might Regret by Roger3D(m): 8:31pm On Dec 28, 2023
Quintessence44:
If you are planning to JAPA, my advice as an economist and oil industry analyst is that you WAIT.

Give it at least a YEAR from today before making the final decision.

The Dangote refinery is a game-changer.

Nigeria becomes self-sufficient in refined petroleum products, and a net exporter of same, bar none in Africa.

That’s a huge deal.

A great many businesses will be established in the months and years ahead based on our self sufficiency in petroleum products.

Millions of new jobs will be created.

In fact one foreign report states that the establishment of the 20 billion dollar Dangote refinery in Lagos officially makes Nigeria an industrialised nation.

In addition, Nigeria will stop importing diesel, petroleum products, fertiliser and petrochemicals.

“That is saving over $26 billion in foreign exchange” per annum, according to official sources.

In addition to all this, the Dangote refinery will generate 12,000 megawatts of electricity.

You can imagine the impact this will have on the economy going forward.

To JAPA right when the nation is on the cusp of economic and industrial transformation is in my view, ill-advised.

Hence I urge a one-year moratorium on all JAPA - related activities.

Happy New Year all, and God bless Nigeria.
Bullshit

I’m Talking from experience.
My big bro is a data scientist but also runs a Tech business where he sells internal data of companies to 3rd party users. His job gave him access to those data initially.

He returned to Nigeria with about N400 million naira .
He’s now running the business from a Lagos hub that he built, he employed people & he realised Nigerian techies are even more talented & were fast learners.
They are now expanding & working with Google

What do you do with your time ?

Even us & uk nurses & doctors dey fire millions so I’m not sure which abroad you’re talking about.

Good luck

Why go to join them in the mediocrity when you can return at later years with about N100 million Naira savings, a privileged life where you can even bless others.

If you’re unskilled overseas you can do warehouse work for a few months, pay for a skilled degree then get a skilled job.

There is nothing in Nigeria for now, don’t be lazy

No MNK no peace in SE and Nigeria. MNK is a bone in their throat. Your court has found him not guilty and because you have guns you still keep him.

He will become more powerful when he comes out.
For the slaves who love their chains, MNK is not the reason you are a slave.

Nobody has the guts he has.
A man who called Buhari a mad man while in the open court and still in detention, do you think such a person fears anyone. Think about that

He has a more ruthless follower who is not kind as Kanu. Ekpa is a ruthless figure. Todays judgement will determine a lot.
And where is he right now? grin
