That's a fuqin red flag. The hospital runs a baby factory or is affiliated to one. No family unintentionally just gets a miracle baby this way.

This particular woman relocate to PortHarcourt, say her specialist doctor is there.

What's cryptic about it? They pump the women with hormones to mimic pregnancy symptoms and keep lying to them till they "deliver".

Your comment doesn't have any merit, reason nor validity for being in this thread because:

1.) Let's assume this "cryptic pregnancy" scam was true, how many men out of 10 would be taking care of a "cryptic scam" child? Is it up to 5 out of 10 men? Incredibly unlikely.
With a paternity fraud rate of 30% in Nigeria, what's the percentage of cryptic preg. scams in that rate? Hence the need for a DNA Test still stands.

2.) If the above point is the case then the child also wouldn't have the mother's DNA so the DNA test is actually good for both the man and woman because they'll know the child isn't theirs (unless you want to resort to the "They called you DADDY first" or "They're still your child" argument).

3.) Cryptic scam or no, why should the man take care of a child that isn't his blood? Did he get married to adopt someone else's child?

4.) This cryptic pregnancy (scam) sef, na always "I heard" or "I know someone that..", is it not a well known fact that unfaithful women would justify and rationalise anything most of the time to hide the truth. If na crypto pregnancy refer to No. 2, test both the man and woman.

Just do your research on it. A lot of women and couples are falling for the scam.

Do you know how much she is going to be charged and can that be compared to a normal ante natal. So if the woman agrees to go ahead with the clinic, then she must have been briefed and agreed to their terms which still leaves the man in the dark. It's still a paternity fraud from the woman and the clinic

Some women genuinely do not know. On this group I told you about, a friend of a woman that almost fell victim was the one who exposed one of the clinics and got the staff there arrested.

Her friend had believed she was pregnant and the pregnancy is hiding and scan cannot see it. Even the husband believed it. So the friend asked her for the address of the clinic so she could research about them.

Immediately she got there, the doctor asked her when last she was her period, she lied to them that she hadn't seen it in a month, they took her to their scan room and told her she was pregnant and told her the same lies that they told her friend. Fortunately, she recorded the conversation.

That's was how she went to play it for her friend o. They went to three different hospital where they were told she wasn't pregnant. That was how it cleared from their eyes.

Research on it. Go to "Ask the Gynaecologist" group on facebook and hear how these people are scamming desperate women and see women who refused to fall for their scam.

Even yesterday, the doctors there still posted to warn women against it.
