Guy, schools in Wuse 2, Maitama, Gwarimpa, Guzape dey pay well.

My friend that started as a guidance counselor started with 30k in one school in Lugbe, from there to Olumawu, then to Premier, then to one school in Gwarimpa. Now he works in a school in Maitama and lives in a 600k yearly two bedroom, e dey plan wed in less than 3 months. His salary is around the range I quoted there.

Teachers earn more than him.

I had experience when I did my teaching practice back then in the university.

But officially in a formal school setting, I started teaching after my NYSC, I was even retained in the school where I served but I taught for a year which I was paid 42k.

Since then {2019} I've been doing contract jobs In a company which I was paid 70k. Now my contractor (the man I'm working with) has been transferred to Abuja. He said he's gonna call me when he needs my assistance.

While waiting for his call. Instead for me to be sitting at home doing nothing I decided to pick up a teaching job... only for me to get a 30k job.

As for the UK certification, I never get money to acquire those certificates.. It's not easy sister.

I know. But don't give up. The 30k job might not be worth it but if you get one that pays between 40-50k, take it and use it to get experience.
