tosyne2much:
When will our ladies start using their brains to think? I don't just get the morale of this story. So because you volunteered to help a dude pay his fare automatically puts him in a position to keep his mouth shut and be ashamed of himself ? If he paid your own fare all in a bid to woo you, I would have said his brain needs formatting but according to your story, you paid the fare of a stranded brother at your own discretion which is totally a different case

Often times, I have paid fare for ladies I barely knew without any intention of asking for their phone numbers afterwards; in fact, I won't even look at them twice. But in a situation like this, if a lady who barely knows me pays my fare, this rare act of generousity and kindness can ensnare her to me, hence, strike an inquisitive convo with her wanting to know more of her

TheSonOf Mark and Ronald 4lif, where art thou ?
cool
Egbon mi, what you said it's accurate. Guys are use to paying ladies tfare and for a lady to pay for a guy's tfare is rare and like you rightly said it's capable of making the guy curious to know her. I'd already convey same opinion to the OP before now.
Romance › Re: My 6 Relationship RED Alerts. by ronald4lif(m):
DonChippy:
Trust me i am quite vast and knowledgeable on most cultures.
Those things i listed are peculiar to us as Nigerians and you are free to disagree with any point i listed.

@Evathyst, trust me, there are so many good things i can do for a lady without being pressured or coerced into doing it just because we are dating. I am a free spirited person and i usually love doing things out of my own free will and not because i am obligated.
Pal, like said earlier your list are frivolous and niggling as they don't reflect my views and platoons like myself. Excluding the first and last and perhaps the second to the last I can't make sense of the rest as they are incongruous.

There's nothing wrong if a lady request that a date should be in an eatery or restaurant, as that's one of the most ideal place to meet one for the first time.

And the accessories argument too is faulty. I don't see the use of jewelries/bangles/necklace on a lady as turn off or evincing materialism. Some women are just bracelet lovers and purchase them with their hard-earned money.

What you're indirectly inferring is that once a woman has assorted jewelries then it must be a man who bought it for her and she's materialistic. Please how did you arrive at that? Do you lots think is every lady who depends on a guy's money or date coz of his money?
Politics › Re: Will You Vote APC Come 2019? by ronald4lif(m): 9:00pm On Jan 29, 2016
From their performance thus far I won't vote for them but also won't vote for PDP.

PDP is the worst thing that ever happened to Nigeria and must be flushed down the toilet interminably.

May I also add that even with APC abysmal failure so far and the presidential election is being re-contested today I'd still not vote for PDP. Would rather not vote at all or vote for a new party. tongue
Romance › Re: My 6 Relationship RED Alerts. by ronald4lif(m): 8:24pm On Jan 29, 2016
Well, non of the listed scares me away from a lady I want to date, so your list is frivolous and insular.

I think it would portend well if we start narrowing such list to our individual requisites than attempting to lump other guys to what we think is right.

And to suggest this is what scares "reasonable" guys away while churning out sophistry points is laughable to say the least. Except if you're inferring that any fella who doesn't agree to your points is unreasonable then we can debate on that.

Politics › Re: Anambra PDP Senators Sacked By Supreme Court by ronald4lif(m): 4:57pm On Jan 29, 2016
Okay, so what this means is that a malefactor, abductor and chronic abuser of the law is now representing us, Ndi Anambra South, in the senate. Wow, interesting, really interesting.

By this verdict, we now have 3 Uba brothers who have represented my people in the upper chambers since 1999. And all of them are crooks and rapscallions who found their way through politics by virtue of Obasanjo's political diablerie in Anambra.

The Uba trinity influence in Anambra state and Anambra south in particular doesn't portend well for our dear state and until these rascals are defeated and exorcise from Anambra politics we shall continue to experience thuggery, backwardness and looting in our state.

I'm anticipating what would be the outcome and fate of Chris Uba at the ongoing trial on his participation in the Ekitigate scandal. Should this thug and criminal go scot free and represent us in the senate then our judiciary system is a joke. Really sad.
Politics › Re: ''Tolu Ogunlesi Wrote "The Economist" Article Calling GEJ ineffectual Buffoon'' by ronald4lif(m): 2:35pm On Jan 29, 2016
Nonsense. Only those who are battling neo-colonialism psychosis will find this unmerited attack on GEJ, a former head of state of the most populous black nation in Africa, happy. What the naive blacks don't know is that the West don't want their betterment and progress and would seize at any slim opportunity to lash at them and their figure heads.

It's surprising that The Economist, based in the UK would play blind to the fact that Britain, a monarch state, with it pseudo democratic values feast on the tax payer contribution to finance their monarchy against the will of many Brits and without any ballot to ascertain if the common tax payer wants their taxes to fund the fat cats in Buckingham palace talks about a sovereign state like Nigeria in such despicable manner.

Why has The Economist with it acclaim world wide reputation not seen anything wrong with the UK invading developing third world countries under the guise of peace keeping only to plunder their natural resources? The fact is that Britain and her American allies in alliance with their bulldog media lack merits to label an ex-president of a sovereign states buffoon coz they are the real buffoons. These pseudo world powers are the major reason for the black man quagmire and should shut up.

Yes, GEJ is inept, clueless and shouldn't have ever been president but I don't need the West to tell me. If I can't tell them that Cameron and Obama are blood sucking power mongers they too shouldn't tell me about my president and country. It's sad that ignorant Nigerians and Jonathan haters are celebrating on this brazen attack on our sovereignty and pride as a country. Really sad and I say fvck The Economist and it Western sponsors. undecided
Romance › Re: When A Woman Is Complete And When She Is Finished. by ronald4lif(m):
Toks2008:
As i wrote, men are visually influenced so yes he can marry such woman but will always likely get carried away by another lady who has the physical features he wants.
Fair retort. I agree that men are more visually swayed than women and also that women are more emotive than men. However, this doesn't mean that ladies are maladroit, trinatopic and aren't captivated by the physical appearance of men too. Neither is it to say men aren't emotionally swayed either.

Women too are pulchritudinously and appearance sensitive just like the men. Every human regardless of their sex are enchanted by looks and women can't be an exception. Do not be deceived and/or parade sophism as facts, beauty is beautiful. We all love the beautiful. Everyone takes a second look at the beautiful, some just cannot stop looking.

While I'm not kicking against marrying or dating the short and ugly looking, I'm vehemently against any attempt to sermonised women to settle for the ugly, short, poor and without extending similar exhortation towards the guys.

In a nutshell, if the guys have rejected the ugly and awfully short ladies, then ladies too have the right to repudiate any advances from the short, ugly and poor guys. He who comes to equity must do equity.

But since you said you can date ugly and extremely short women, which I doubt, then good for you. But most guys would disagree to date such women and my annotation is for them.

Guys can't want pretty, curvaceous and extremely beautiful women and expect women not to want the tall, cute and rich guys. You set standards for them and they set for you too. You can't be the jury and same time prosecutor.

The picture isn't all in-inclusive to give ladies wide and difficult decision as it is with the guys.

The wifey option should have been a broad-spectrum by making it "partner". That way we'd have provided both ladies and gents a wider option to choose from.

As it is, they have only mum and the money option as opposed to guys who have 'wifey' added to theirs.

As for me, hmmm I'd choose... BRB

Are you working or just a sit-at-home mum? If yes, get the hell out of that marriage before it cost you your life.

The man is fully aware you'd never beg the mistress and it's just employing that as a means to torment and suppress you. No sane man would assume his wife will plead with his mistress. No one.

The man doesn't only cheat on you but have the cojones to flaunt it on your face? That's extreme and no woman should condone such.

You knew he was authoritarian but still went ahead to marry him? Why do you women always proceed to marrying someone who doesn't possess the demeanor that conforms and it's acceptable to you?

You must take responsibility for marrying him. He's never the fault but you who went ahead to settle with him despite his repulsive mien.

Exit that marriage before it takes your life.

Also, how about presenting our believes? Evolution? Abiogenesis etc. Then we can ask questions later,
That's okay. Present our views relating to our beliefs, evolution, how planet earth/universe came about etc. Also, how religion was borne and the circumstances surrounding it creation amongst others. Just anything, there's no roles I'm guessing.
