But to be honest, no matter how independent and rich a woman is it always give me some sense of contentment and joy to be a player in her life financially. If I'm not contributing anything at all in the needs of my woman, no matter how vestigial, I feel I'm not in control of the relationship. So there's a sense in the post.

Romance › Re: Is It Normal For Nigerian Men To Beat Women by ronald4lif(m): 9:06pm On Jan 16, 2016
Men are naturally violent and imperious and feel they are stronger than women, which is true. And when someone feel they are more powerful than the other they are inclined to apply brute force when ever they feel their superiority is being challenged.

Just like Nigeria domestic violence strives in any climate where there are no strict legislation that protects women. This is not to say it's common for men to beat their wives but it happens more in Nigeria than other countries where there are strict laws against DV.

If there were no strict legislation punishing DV instigators in South Africa the case would have been same. So it's not about Nigerian men character but about not having laws and abusers going unpunished.
Romance › Re: Allow Her Go Through Your Text Or Shave Ur Beard? by ronald4lif(m): 8:50pm On Jan 16, 2016

Romance › Re: Guys Can Be So Annoying!!! (true Experience) by ronald4lif(m): 8:45pm On Jan 16, 2016
Both of you were wrong. You don't go on a first date with someone to a club. There are better places to meet a person for the first time and night time isn't the best.

On his part, he was wrong to have made sexual moves on you when you both are still getting to know each other. Some guys are just becoming so much impatient when it comes to relationship and sex. They just want a quick fix. And if he'd been a bit patient sex could still happen someday.

I think most relationship nowadays borders around sex and money. Guys want some shag while women want money and goodies and every party feels sex/money is their entitlement. How do we stop this kinda mentality coz I'm somehow also guilty.
Romance › Re: Video Of The Couple Having Sex At OAU Gate by ronald4lif(m): 8:24pm On Jan 16, 2016
tunapa2009:
The story was very true because I was at OAU gate when it happened. The event took place around some minutes to 5and looked bizarre. I am very sure they were under some sorts of spiritual movement: the woman reactions made it so clear. Africa! Africa!! Africa!!! I can't categorically say whether it was a ritual rites as some claimed or a spell to disgrace them.
Hmmm, but even if they were caught mating why do they have to be treated like that? Aren't there laws and a better way to treat people who commit such offense huh

Romance › Re: Is 50k Too Much To Spend On A Date? by ronald4lif(m): 7:15pm On Jan 16, 2016
wristbangle:
Now u are talking brother. cool A lady in this thread said if he is earning 600k, it's not a big deal to spend 50k on a date.

This same lady will ridicule the guy that his mate earning 150k have became landlord meanwhile he is busy spending lavishly forgetting that when he was spending on her, she never complained.

Guys naturally are prudent in spending. 50k can buy 50bags of dangote cement, can set up a business, can do a lot of reasonable things.
Easier said than done, any lady that think a man who earns 600k monthly can lavish 50k on a date is irresponsible and silly. Even as she's exactly the kind of lady any man shouldn't have in their live. Wetin them wan chop for 50k? How much is food and normal wine in Jevinik, Mama Cass and their likes? No mind the mumu, make she go rob.
Romance › Re: Is 50k Too Much To Spend On A Date? by ronald4lif(m): 7:03pm On Jan 16, 2016
wristbangle:
Lol but why? I thought u said she was worth it.
Omo that's a huge sum of money to spend on a date, that's 20bags of Dangote cement bruv. grin

I don't know but 50k on a date is too much I'd rather spend that in pounds. The thing is spending £200 on a date out wouldn't even seem extra special, just a normal recipe and wine might gulp that amount in the UK.

But when looking at it in naira, what do two people want to eat to gulp that amount? Unless they go to Sheraton, Nicon hotels and their likes where their stuff are pricey. If you're out with your guys that's understandable not with just consumables for two. I can't.

Exponental:
if you both earn far more than 50k, and if u can afford a N5m wedding, it's not too much.
I love the bolded. If people can splash millions of naira in a fanfare wedding then they can do away with 50k on a date really. Anyone who can lavish such an amount on a wedding shouldn't find this a problem. Walahi.

Chai

Ronald4lif and tosyne2much.

Can you spend N50k for a date?
I have spent it equivalent in pounds sterling but I'm not sure I can do same in naira value coz it sounds too big to be true lol. But the babe was worth it and it's not something I look forward to doing again though.
Family › Re: Help!!! My Graduate Sister Brought A Shoemaker As Her Husband To Be by ronald4lif(m): 5:02pm On Jan 16, 2016
What's his educational status, is he a graduate or uneducated? Some graduates also acquired artefact skills and are making reasonable money from it. And what's the capacity of his shoe making business. There are many shoe makers worth millions of naira and with huge investment in other industries.

I understand your family fears really. You don't want your sister to get married to someone who doesn't have the financial wherewithal to take care of her and the kids. But you have to also consider her happiness which I believe should be paramount.

Sounds funny but don't think so. If he knew his freedom would be lost he wouldn't have taken a leap in the first place. Probably a tears of joy.
