We didn't attend the same school, I have my own school that I attended, and you have yours.
So if I say I have my own school I attended, does that mean I was the only one in the school?

If I tell my friends I can't stay here, I'm going back to my own house, does that mean I'm the only one who lives in the house? Come to think of it, "my own house" doesn't even mean I own the house, it just implies that I have a legal right to use the house. So 40 people can call a house their own house as long as they're legal occupants of the house.

That's the lexical ambiguity I'm talking about.

Jesus never condemned polygamy, most of those in the bible who seemed to condemn it were the overzealous converts who were not even with jesus and tended to apply their personal beliefs in most of their teachings.

Some of the greatest icons in the Bible were polygamists, such as Abraham, Solomon, David etc

And they're all already in heaven while you are here talking about unimportant things like polygamy instead of focusing on the actual teachings of christ like repentance, forgiveness, love etc

The issue is a sensitive one. I did an extensive research on this matter and realise that , polygamy was never condemned in the bible. It is only advised to stick to one to avoid issues. But the one new generation Christians carry it ehn, you will think it is next to murder.

This is music to my hears...It's high time we left.

When shake turns to shove, caution must be embraced.
Anything that brings threat to live should be avoided with all precaution. We have nothing in common with the Northerners. They r extreme people who don't see killing as special.

Islam is also practiced down south but with conscience and tolerance. Buhari has done well to divide us all through ethnic bother and we thank him for the enlightment. I advocate for peaceful desolution of this unsuccessful contraption.

This marriage no be by force.

It's clap him.

It is clap for him. Read the proof up there . I have checked well. Some British speakers say that but others and Americans, Canadians and Australians only accept clap for him/her/them.

I didnt read the post but it seems like you are referring to pornography if I'm construing you correctly.

The point is people masturbate while creating an image in their mind. There is always a picture of a woman, a sex scene or an instigating incident that stimulate arousals. It is this wild imagination that is the sin in the first place.
Religion / Re: Masturbation Is Not A Sin - Pastor Chris Onyakilome by Ronpet777(m): 6:25pm On Jan 03, 2020
A lot of people take statements out of context and begin to condemn ignorantly. He is saying masturbation is a sin except that the act is not the main sin but the imagination that leads to it.Meaning that you may not even do the act but the fact that your mind is feasting on lust you are already commiting it.
Pls get things clearly before jumping into conclusions. This is plain English nau.

Trust me, the Arabs are good in brainwashing the children of their victims!

All these is not what really matters but how the first set of black converts became Muslims!

There's nothing appealing to preach about Islam so it was forced on all those who first accepted it just like Catholicism. But since those people are dead now and the religion has become the heritage of their progenies, the later due to the virtue of their own parents who were forced to accept the religion mixed up the virtuous deeds of their own parents with Islam, unknowingly to them that Islam has nothing worthwhile to teach!

Let them go to Mecca where the religion began and rooted, most of them will testify to the fact that the Meccans themselves are worthless people if evaluated from the viewpoint of virtue!

In fact the adherents of this religion have love, joy and peace in them unlike the Arabs who brought it to them. Meaning it's not the religion that's teaching virtue but the ancestral virtuous heritage of those who were forced to accept the religion! smiley

You guys are not nice at all. It is obvious the guy bit more than he could chew.He ran with his tail between his legs. If he is truly wise as he claims,he has many important questions to ask himself and find the TRUTH. He is fighting a lost course.

Religion / Re: Rethinking Atheism: Existence Of God by Ronpet777(m): 8:03pm On Jan 02, 2020
DirtyGold:

The history of man reinforces that natural knowledge/instinct of the existence of God and a need to connect with Him. And what is more, the universe is a testament to the fact that God exists, if He didn't, who created all that exists including those men are yet to discover? the big bang theory?

You blow my mind. I like your pattern of reasoning as you have successfully filled a huge vacuum in my thought process. Most religions are porous and full of imperfections and people especially the Atheists quickly use that as a yardstick to obliterate God. God exist and religions create the link to HIM but may not be wholesome.

Good! But we have lost faith in this election. It is tainted with too many irregularities in many states by the government on seat.

May God deliver us from the 'one chance ' bus we found ourselves under Buhari and APC!
Politics / Re: Buhari Wins Lagos State by Ronpet777(m): 5:05pm On Feb 25, 2019
Really? Now I know exactly how those who warned us against voting Buhari felt.It is painful that many Nigerians are myopic to the evil and extremism that Buhari and APC represent.

Anyone with conscience and human feelings should HV observed the callous disposition of this government to news of death and bloodshed during this manipulated election.

I don't particularly love Atiku but we should at least have given him a chance, then boot him out once he fails to deliver after four years. But now we r calling for Buhari who gave us mediocrity for four years when he still needed reelection. What do we get from him now when he doesn't even need us again?
I pity Nigerians.We r in it together.Dont say u weren't foretold!!!

It beats my imagination that enlightened individuals still root for Buhari apart from d paid Zombies on Nairaland. The man is not even competent enough to be the admin of a WhatsApp group.

The man is just being packaged for us by the cabals that wish to wield power at all cost .
It is our collective duty to rid the country of these selfconceited individuals by sacking them from d seat of power come February.
They r obviously blind to the plight and sufferings of the common man!
