during my last week appointment,the mid wife didn't say anything much,she just said I should take my medicine more frequently, eat more fruits,drink enough water,avoid cold water and relax well.....though as I haven't noticed any cramps since then,it just this spotting I saw today.

Any changes so far?

He took me to d maternity around 2pm the nurse checked me n said 3cm DAT they can't give me bed with 3cm n she can't burst my water. I shld go n walk around n come back in d next 4 hrs.
I left n continued my squatting n standing n walking n praying. Contractions were bearable. I was praying that d push check shld be at least 6cm. Around after 5 I had urge to poo but endured it when I entered I told them to check me but they were too busy cis of many ppl were in labour. When I had a very strong urge to poo I called . Dem n the nurse said let's enter labour room dont push. But no leg to walk oda women were just talking nonsense. That's how they are stubborn go to labour room u are here. I didn't answer them shaa. When d contraction stopped I entered labour room she checked n said 8/9cm I was so happy. She said I can't push with DAT. So she broke my water d next contraction she asked me to push. Brb

My wife just missed her period about 5 days ago, blood test says positive but home testing urine kit shows negative. We had this same situation 4 months ago and she had miscarriage two weeks after confirming the pregnancy by blood test. Anything to be worried about this time?
NB: we have a child already, one year 4 months

She needs progesterone support to encourage implantation. Let her see a doctor asap

Good morning mamas. pls help me explain this cos I don't understand it.
It was last night when I started feeling a kind of menstrual cramps in my pelvic,followed with lower backache and tightening around my abdomen. Whenever my abdomen becomes tight and hard,the menstrual cramps and backache kicks in,making me so uncomfortable. It comes and go but sometimes last long before going again.The cramp doesn't increase but it seem like it coming and going almost every 5mins. Is braxon hicks supposed to come along with menstrual cramp?
Sometimes, it feels like am about to pee my pant( like when something wants to drop but goes back inside).
We are 29weeks today, and my next appointment is till next week Saturday. Pls mamas advice me on what to do cause am not enjoying the pains at all.
The funny part is after the whole thing stops,I feel like baby is dancing and jumping with strong kicks and jabs in my stomach.

I hope you are already at the hospital now.
All you explained are Labour signs and you arent due yet.

Secondly we baby danced during her ovulation period. Her menses came at the expected time but it flowed heavily for two days. On the third day, the flow minimised considerably. This is unusual because she normally has four says if heavy flow.

On the third day, she started complaining of excessive tiredness. She hasn't felt that weak during her menses before.
Someone asked her to do a pregnancy test.

But I don't believe it's possible to menstruate while pregnant especiallly within the first few weeks of conception.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Its equally possible the high prolactin is affecting her period.

Let her do the test.

Have she considered the drug method.
Ewedu method being a natural method can be slow and less effective if the level of prolactin is very high.

Please aside the fear of labour, is there any danger associated with traveling by air in late pregnancy say 38 weeks? I'm thinking it's ok if no labour sign since it's a short journey (1hr)

Thank God! finally am here cause am pregnant and 10 weeks 3 day as per the scan I did today and it tally with my LMP am very greatful to God for this amazing gift after ttcing for two years. However am on admission right now cos of pelvic pain that av been aving since 2 days ago during the scan fibriod was detected and they said it push the baby to one side but the baby is fine. Mamas pls I need ur prayers cause am sacred and I want to know how to manage fibriod with pregnancy, am still feeling the pains though not severe hope and welcome. sorry for the long post. Am team October with due date 12 Oct 2018 on scan supernatural delivery to us all.

Just follow your doctor's instruction.
Rest and soft work.
Some fibriods degenerate with time- this will cause you more pain but baby will be fine.

For craving sake
Take just little or buy a pinapple flavoured drink.
It causes contraction for some but not all. My neighbor ate pineapple from start to finish of her preg, nothing happened, infact, she was induced before her baby came.
When my craving was out of hand, I indulged . It gave me contractions o, but not enought to cause any harm.
No be person tell me to kill the craving asap.

Don't worry! There's plenty you can do at this point to help junior get into a more optimal position for birth. Up until 37 weeks of pregnancy, there's a very good chance your Baby will have enough room to move about.

Firstly, try getting yourself into that same position you want your baby to be in: head down! Don't worry, this doesn't mean headstands, but it does mean being a bit more flexible than you've perhaps been over the past few weeks. Try kneeling on a low sofa and extending your arms to the floor, but never ever try it without some assistance! Swimming, yoga and some time on the birthing ball are also good options.

If exercises are just a bit too much for your aching body, try placing a bag of frozen peas at the top of your belly. It sounds ridiculous, but it really can help! Baby won't like the cold and may try and turn his or her head away from the cold patch! Voila!

Just like someine advised. While waiting for proper diagnosis you can combine calcuim and Wobenzym or Serrapeptase.

I will always advise anyone that went through sugery to start serarpeptase asap. To avoid regrowth or scaring.

The nurses are good and caring but the doctors are not responsive.
She is the 3rd person I knew that died there. If any emergency takes u to the hospital on Saturday, you are on your own.

My friend had ectopic pregnancy which ruptured.she fainted and we took her to the hospital around 7am. She complained of her tummy throughout. The nurses checked her bp and it was going down, they put her on drip, then asked us for blood which we got. To get the doctor to attend to her was war. The stupid guy was busy lazying abt on ward round and never knew of emergency. When he eventually came, he could not diagnise what was wrong with the babe. No scan was done to her from 7am to 6pm when she died. We later heard the hospital had no scanning machine.The refused to refer her even when the girls family insisted. They said she can't be moved while receiving blood. When the blood transfusion finished, the blood started congealing cos it was not circulating due to the rupture, I forgot the medical term . she was on fire. We were pouring water on her. She died few mins later. It was autopsy that detected she was 6weeks pregnant which was ectopic and ruptured. The hospital would have booked her for emergency operation and cut the tube. It was a 50-50 thing, but that was the right thing to do.

The girls family petitioned the doc and the hospital to Nma. I was ready to testify. We were out to strip the doc of his license but along the line, the hospital pleaded for out of court settlement. I think buying a scan machine in the hospital was one of the terms as well as maybe paying her sons fees. I don't know the details.

This happened over 5 years ago, but the memories are still fresh. Sometimes, I blame myself for taking her to the hospital . she may have survived if I took her elsewhere, but each time I blame myself, I also blame her for not telling us she was pregnant.

Had same experience with my first scan. Sonographer told me it will clear on it own but I eventually bled. Scared the hell out of me. But scan showed everything was alright. Was placed on duphaston and bed rest for 2weeks. We are 31weeks+ today.
No shaking sis. Just rest well.
