Please I told my Engineer to put DPM in our DPC but unfortunately we got to site today and found out he didn't put it. He said houses around do have issues with moisture that DPC is good enough.

He didn't put nylon and he has finished the casting of the DPC/German floor.

Is there a way to still apply the DPM/Nylon before we continue.

Some are parading themselves everywhere as an engr, Builder, QS, architect ... building construction professionals meanwhile they are noting in building construction field. How can the so called barber answer engr purposely omitted dpm when he was asked by the client to introduce such.
It’s better at this stage to do your due diligence again about his professionalism.
who knows may be tomorrow he will will omitted KITCHEN in the building and tell you that some neighbors do have there kitchen at the back of the building separately constructed with bamboo.... I laugh in SWAHILI.
Actually there is way to re-do this (dpm), But the question is can he do it right ?

bros you talk well. I was born and bred in Anambra State Nnewi precisely. The increased pace of crime is unprecedented.

Just last week or thereabouts, one man was shot on the leg after being robbed. This was before it was 8.30pm.
My brother im not from Anambra but I’m a Nigerian but I will tell you Anambra is still far better than some area in this part of world when we are talking about murderer crime in cities in the whole world
Do you believed that the 1st -50 cities in case of murdered in the world you CAN’T find any Nigeria cities there.

Only Mexico take 1-7 position ( 7 cities) in this crime.
2 American cities are there.
3 S. Africa cities are among
And many more

1-50 or more NO Nigerian cities you can find on the list.
So we are not worst in terms of crime in Nigeria compare to others country.
Even the best 10 safest country in the world still live with crime ,NO zero crime country.

The top 10 safest countries in the world are as follows:

Iceland
New Zealand
Portugal
Austria
Denmark
Canada
Singapore
Slovenia
Japan
Czech Republic

Baba rotecch77, I add the population of the countries in bolded figure above.

63.27% of 195million is higher than 84% of 28.9million.

Though we are number 17 on the list, we still dey top chart after Brazil when you consider the population.
I get you right chief but we can’t judged it that way, the more the population the more the crime look at Brazil for example ( 209m) there population is a bit higher than Nigeria yet there crime is also higher like 5pec than we,
But let’s drop the mic shaa and move on with the purpose of the tread sir.

Meanwhile I love the door you posted here last .

The issue is not about beauty or how clean the place is but security. Tourist want come over to see and enjoy how we live, do things, transportation (good or bad it doesn't matter), environment, weather, culture etc.....There is no guarantee that an American or European or potential tourist will visit a remote area without been seen as a potential target for ransom, 419 or been robbed of his valuable.
I have visited places less better or equal to Naija without fear of been harmed or seen as a target because they have a trusted security system that fight and punish crime accordingly.
Yes I agreed with you on this, nobody will like to visit and stay where adequate security to secure life and property is not guarantee.
But come to think of it, does Nigeria has the highest rate of crime in the whole word? The answer is definitely No.
Nigeria rank number 17 on the statistics of crime table
As it’s presently we still have some Asian, European investors here doing fine.
But let’s OFF THE MIC here bcs here is property section so that we will not derail the primary purpose of this beautiful tread.

The 1st city to have television station
The second largest city in Africa

The city of Ibadan is naturally drained by four rivers with many tributaries: Ona River in the North and West; Ogbere River towards the East; Ogunpa River flowing through the city and Kudeti River in the Central part of the metropolis. Ogunpa River, a third-order stream with a channel length of 12.76 km and a catchment area of 54.92 km2. Lake Eleyele is located at the northwestern part of the city, while the Osun River and the Asejire Lake bounds the city to the east.

Don’t let’s forget The old settlement area ( brown roof)

This is 95% close to the alternative I have seen, just that it is all horizontal. Looking to achieve an alternative to this simple stainless railing for the outside part of the house.

Don't know if the iron one you attached will make sense for that outside or I should just stick to the stainless railing attached below.
You make mentioned of Cheaper alternatives that is the reason why I send the simples and Cheaper one there.
But if you need something more fanciful and gigantic then check the pics attached.

Simple and cheaper
Top and bottom horizontal pipe will be 2” pipe
The inner vertical pipe will be 3/8 or 1/2” pipe
All square pipe

I always do love this wrought iron work or designs, but finding it hard to see someone that can do it. Those welders keep telling me galvanized pipe or something like that which I don't like.

Trying to settle for stainless steel for the railing, but do you know of any better option (maybe cheaper?)
As you can see we can do that for you and others builders/ contractors here can get it done also.

As for the cheaper one l, you can only go for 12mm normal high yield reinforcement but this will looks horrible for stir railings
Better option is to go for square pipe 3/8 or 1/2 for the design then 2” for the top railings
