I know a lot about weapon systems because I grew up among military personnels and I do have generals among them; a Russian Konet is the equivalent if not more powerful than American Tow anti tank missile you're taking about. I don't have to view your video because I am vast in military things.

Point of correction, the Nigerian military also operates T72 tanks.

A group like Al Nusra will overrun the whole of Nigeria within 6 months.

They have tanks, APCs, rocket launcher, mortars, artilleries etc, though they also captured some from the Nigerian military.

Al Nusra do not have the capability to overran Nigeria but ISIS can try but they will be defeated on the long run.

Both groups are made up of over 97% light skinned foot soldiers and this will make it easy for them to be identified & killed by the Nigerian military.

They easily defeated Iraq because it a country that exist on a space of land while the Taliban is like a religious group that don't put on uniform nor do they have a recognized space that can be targeted. You claimed that boko haram is a rag tag force! That's a big lie as boko haram fighters are trained in Libya, Mali, chad, Niger republic, Syria, Algeria etc, they are 10 times more powerful than the Niger Delta militants.

If I may ask? Have you watched videos of their attacks? If not try and watch like 4 & you will know what boko haram use in their war against the Nigerian military, hundreds if anti aircraft guns are their major weapons against Nigerian infantries.

Let me tell you one other truth, the Nigerian military have a weapon that can destroy half a city & this weapon was initially kept in Lagos for years before they moved it out of Lagos to an unknown destination.

You lot overrate Nigeria too much. The Nigerian military can't even defend Nigeria against a 5th rate country. With the modern ant-ship missiles available today - anyone can sink all the ancient ships the Nigerian Navy has within 48hours. The Nigerian air-force is non-existent and you don't even need overly sophisticated manpads to shoot down all the flying coffins they have and their amateur airmen who can't really manoeuvre anything. And just enough TOW missiles should keep the Nigerian ground troops in check after turning all their tanks and APCs into scrap metal. Fighting Nigeria is nothing, especially if you have the right external support. However, you don't need to go the violence route. The country will hit the brick-wall without violence with time. Just be patient and keep strategising.

A try will definitely convenience anyone who preferred military confrontation with the Nigerian military ; Boko Haram got lots of foot soldiers from Nigeria, Niger, Cameroon, chad, Mali, Libya & tons of free sophisticated weapons from the Muslim world at large but alas they are being killed in large numbers and as such they are on the run.

What made boko haram last up to date is that its not a tribal group but a religious group and as such the Nigerian military can't just shelling/bombing towns & villages unlike Biafra which is a tribal thing: biafra have an homeland that can be targeted even from Miles away with lots of the military platforms available with the Nigerian military.

In the fight against boko haram, several heavy military platforms were not used due to the kind of conflict the military is engaged in but in a military confrontation with a defined enemy, the Nigerian military will inflict a heavy casualty on them & if anyone doubt it, they can give it a try.
