Some guys on NL are just pure psycophants! They want to look good to the girls on NL (the under 16s and others). A man is a man while a woman is a woman! The ONLY equality is in the fact that we are both human beings.

I love animals but aggressive dogs are number 1 on my list. I love Rottweillers and Pitbulls.

Why love doesn't last in relationships? We human beings like deceiving ourselves a lot. Agreed, there's LOVE but it's LUST that bring people together. You lust for someone and you wish/desire to get to know the people better. You act the good boy or girl etc just to warm yourself into the person's heart. Thereafter, you start holding hands, kiss, being naughty and finally you bang each other. After this process you chill out a bit but when you realise that that person is worth keeping for life, you then move to the next level - monopoly.You keep professing unshaking love etc. Eventually you get married. you make love almost everyday - in the kitchen, the toilet, the sitting room. If you are lucky, she gets pregnant. That's another level. Sex reduces. You have to do it with care so that you don't kill the foetus in a sex frenzy. She finally gives birth. That's a new level. Taking care of the baby starts sapping all the energy from you and your wife to the extent when you have time for sex, you would prefer to sleep instead! You see, things are beginning to change. But mind you, this the period when the foundation of most marriages develop everlasting cracks, Marriage is not the same as boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. Marriage is not co-habiting. Marriage is not single-parenting. Marriage is not a bed of roses.

God created women with unique characteristics. For those that believe in the teachings of the bible, why support arguments like this one raised by cult members/non-believers/idol worshippers/etc? Head of churches are supposed to be spiritual leaders. Women were created with characteristics that disqualify them from such exalted positions. God has created everything uniquely as it suits him. Birds are created for the sky and snakes for the ground.

The spiritually lost ones will always get irritated when they hear/read the word of God. Why tell someone to shut up when he/she wasn't referring to you? I understand THE TRUTH HIT YOU REAL HARD! You do not need anybody to tell you what questions to ask your guy and how to ask them. Don't be over anxious about the relationship. Hang out with him and observe his actions/comments/language etc. He definitely going to reveal his true self. Engage him in general discussions and you guys will stray to other topics. Just know that it's not an interview session otherwise you would get readymade answers that most times are not true.

If someone is a best friend why would that person betray you? Choose the right pal with near-perfect characteristcs! When you choose a friend because his/her dad/mum is rich or famous, what do you expect? Some people don't even know what a best friend is. Most have fairweather friends who would stab them at the slightest opportunity. I have a best friend that I have known him for years. He's not even from my ethnic group. We give ourselves sincere advice whether it hurts or not. Not a friend that would keep telling you your actions are ok even when they are not only because he/she wants to maintain a conflict-free relationship. If I travel out of the country, he's ever available and willing to attend to any emergency needs of my family. He doesn't talk careless; He's frank; He's God-fearing; He's not self-centered; He's responsibly married; He's principled; He knows when to use his iniatives.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IT'S NOT EVERY FRIEND THAT QUALIFIES TO BE A BEST FRIEND!

Can you also address the issues instead of calling people names like sick, sexually perverted, deadbeat, shameful. Maybe a reasonable explanation as to why Jesus being married is so unconceivable?

For people like YOU, please note that the only reasonable explanation that Jesus did not get married is that the Bible did not/does not say so. People have the right to scrutinize religions and church leaders, because many decisions are made on our behalf based on the assumption that these religions and church leaders are genuine.

If the president can be scrutinized, why not pastors and their ministries? If they are sound, they will prevail.

If he had genuine intentions, why scrutinize on the net? Giving even 'babalawos' the opportunity to cast aspersions. The iniator of the thread is obviously based in Naija. What stopped him from visiting one of the churches or the MFM website for details than asking people who are obviously against God - those who do not hesitate to blaspheme.

Most of the people who bring up christianity-related issues on NL do it with ulterior motives. Religions is a very sensitive issue! Why can't you guys just keep quiet and discuss other issues than stir up religious war? If you feel you have issues why not take them up with the members of the church that you know. People just create opportunities for those who know nothing about christianity to start making blasphemous posts.

If it is an end-time church, what business of yours is it? You want to send policemen to shut them down?

When I hear people complain about the sex of their childred, I just wonder how unappreciative humans can be. There are millions out there praying to get 'any type of child' only for some one with three to complain. I have 2 lovely girls and I am very proud, happy and lucky to have them. I have friends who have been married for more than 8years and are still looking for the fruit of the womb. The reasons given by our fore fathers for preferring male kids then do not hold water these days. Are you taking the kids to farm or to wrestle in your village?

As for me, av got 2 and am satisfied. Don't even need anymore kids. My desire is to give them the best education that my dad couldn't give me.

Nobody is asking any woman to be a professional housewife! ladies bring up sentiments to cover their inadequacies. Why can't you cook? Where you brought up by homosexuals? I don't understand! Whats your idea of 'true living God'? God mean so many things to so many people. Whatever you chose to worship is your God, and of course, God had been from the beginning, is now, and would ever be world without end. The more we profess God! God!! God, the more degenerate we get in life. Lets face our fellow brothers, love them, assist them, xtend helping hands to them and stop evil against one another. I think that would take care of most of our problems, and make God less busy on matters that can be handled by us. I hate it when we waste our energies to start to find the most 'suitable' form of God than doing what in our conscience, is right and proper. For your information, Olumba Olumba does not play God, or consider himself as God. He preaches love, christ and brotherhood (virtues that Christ himself stood for) and I suppose if you spare some time to read or listen to him, u'd build a better reserve of knowledge about him and stop showing off ignorance on the forum. Religion is personal and should b so treated. I rest my case.

I am utterly dissappointed in you. Why not come out and make your stance known. What do you worship? the wind, sand, water, papa, Abdrusheen, Olumba Olumba? I hit the roof each time i read your post on christianity. What powers of your own do you possess? People who speak evil of God always get knocked down by strange ailment. At that point, they start seeking the face of the Lord. Some die in silence because they consider it too shameful to accept that there's a true living God. Mere flesh and blood!
