dengepo:Me too, I need a good accountant. thanks |
Offpoint:Nigerian govt is a bully, how can a business survive in such a harsh environment? The truth is until Nigerians revolt against the govt we are not going to see any change. ![]() |
Can I use any top for this project and can I substitute Ankara for that flowery fabric? |
Offpoint:So if I get my water from a borehole I paid for, the govt will still come and collect water bills from me. ![]() |
The only thing I will advice businesses to do is submit your company's tax returns on a timely basis. Maybe some Nigerian company/ business accounting expert in the house should talk us through the legal duties of a Nigerian company Director. |
the Nigerian environment is a dream killer for small businesses. Most businesses require electricity to operate using all your profits to purchase diesel is not acceptable. ![]() |
None ![]() |
Please don't take too long to get back to me I need to sew this within the next 2 weeks. Sorry for being too pushy, but you did say if we have any queries we should always ask you without any hesitation. ![]() |
YES |
Lalas247:Lol ![]() They take their Nigerian mentality everywhere they go , instead of being practical and realistic. " I better pass my neighbour life style" ![]() |
Just looking on ACCA jobs website for accountants and graduate trainee accountant in London for £20,000 The average starting salaries for graduate trainees is £18,000 and that is comfortable to live on in London for a single person with not too much responsibilities. After tax take home pay is about £1,400. If a single person cant live on this comfortably, even if they earn £100,000 weekly it still be difficult. Some comments here have overstated the reality of life in the UK, someone even went as far as saying if you earn under £30K or £40k then you are a slave. I think that is a very ignorant comment to make. |
Also I would prefer mine to be more straight instead of the A-line style shown here. |
marylandcakes:Please if you can just do a very quick demonstration I will appreciate it, I need to sew it for this summer. For example how many pieces of pattern will I have? and I don't know how to use the button hole function on my machine please talk me through. Thanks in advance |

toks208:I thought you said £200? ![]() |
obailala:He who wears the hat knows where it pinches ![]() |
shaybebaby:In the auction?? |
Toks2008:Lol you better tell us cos even student accommodation average is £400 out of London. Maybe in Wales you might get £200 a room. ![]() |
obailala:For some families it is not an easy choice to make but sometimes it is better for the long run. I know a family who made that choice, the man stayed behind and the wife and 3 kids relocated to the UK . It wasn't only because of the money but they wanted good schools and secure environment for the kids. At the end of the day it depends on the understanding between the individuals involved. They visit during the six weeks long holiday. While the man is trying to set up his business in Nigeria, his kids have a better life in the UK. He has had to make a big sacrifice for this . |
Toks2008:Where can you get a box room for that amount ? Not in London . The average cost of a room in London is £500. |
amazon14:Haba!! how can someone work everyday in the UK? The average working weekly hours is 40 and the minimum wage used to be £7.50 and is now £7.83 |
The national minimum wage in the UK for over 25 year old is £7.83 |
Bornean orangutans

Iceland is the first British supermarket to pledge a crackdown on palm oil by removing the environmentally devastating food ingredient from its own brand food. The frozen food specialist said it has made an ethical decision to reformulate 130 food products to completely remove palm oil from its list of ingredients by the end of the year. The ubiquitous vegetable oil is used in around half of all supermarket products, from soap and chocolate spread to oven chips and crisps, despite its damaging environmental consequences. Iceland said it has already replaced palm oil in 50pc of its range across its 900 stores. It has also rolled out 100 new lines which forego the ingredient blamed for destroying rainforests and threatening critically endangered species including the orangutan. The pledge to end palm oil use comes amid brewing trade tensions between the western governments mulling a palm oil ban, and Indonesia and Malaysia where 90pc of all palm oil is produced . In Indonesia alone it is estimated that areas of rainforest the size of 146 football pitches are lost every hour as the industry races to keep up with the booming global demand. As a result the number of Bornean orangutans has more than halved between 1999 and 2015, leaving fewer than 100,000 left. Richard Walker, Iceland’s managing director, said: “We don’t believe there is such a thing as guaranteed ‘sustainable’ palm oil available in the mass market, so we are giving consumers a choice to say no to palm for the first time.” “Having recently been to Indonesia and seen the environmental devastation caused by expanding palm oil production first hand, I feel passionately about the importance of raising awareness of this issue – and I know many British consumers share my concern and want to have a real choice about what they buy,” he said. Greenpeace UK said a growing number of consumer companies are working to draw a line on their involvement with deforestation by 2020, which will increase pressure through their supply chains too. John Sauven, of Greenpeace UK said Iceland’s decision is a direct response to the “palm oil industry’s failure to clean up its act”. “As global temperatures rise from burning forests, and populations of endangered species continue to dwindle, companies using agricultural commodities like palm oil will come under increasing pressure to clean up their supply chains,” he warned. |
EarthXmetahuman:Women are so much stronger than you think, never underrate them , thay can do anything they put their minds to . 5 years is nothing. |

Too much processed food is not very good as all the nutritional benefits are depleted. How long does it take to blend fresh tomatoes. Common!!Then companies will take this and be adding cancer causing chemicals and food colourings, are we getting Lazier as a nation? Nothing beats the taste of fresh food. Living in a city is no excuse. |
Bjgirl1:So sorry for your pain. When things like this happen, it forces us to put live into perspective and we find out that the most important things in life cost nothing and we begin to appreciate those things that most people take for granted. Continue to talk about it. Draw your strength from your religion, your friends and family. Don't push them away. |
