Bellarita: I expected that you would know how to cut a simple blouse. Im sorry but this thread is for those who are already learning, ill be teaching specific areas of challenges not to start teaching from the scratch. For the back piece in step 1, your required measurements are *Shoulder ÷ 2 + seam allowance (0.5) if you are fixing sleeves. If its sleeveless use Shoulder ÷2 + seam allowance (0.5) - 2 *Bust +ease (4) ÷4 + seam allowance(1) *Blouse lenght + seam allowance (0.5) + hem allowance (1.5) Abeg, please have patience, I'm a very fast learner. |
Education › Re: Samuel Olorunfemi-Adam Vs Kemi Obaditan: Lecturer Tells His Side Of The Story by Rubyventures: 2:59pm On Mar 31, 2016 |
I Just saw this on the first thread. I copied and pasted it here for you guys. Stapler123: For those of us who know and also witnessed this incident, we know that both the student and the lecturer were wrong. The lecturer was VERY wrong to have used belt on you, but you were wrong for (I) using your phone during ecams and trying to take pics of him (ii) you were wrong for 'jacking' his shirt around his neck (iii) you were wrong for threatening to deal with him if he stops you from taking the exam.
You play the victim in your narrative, but did not say that you have been caught for exam malpractice in the same school three times. You were suspended for one year after the incident with Mr Adams, you came back to school after one year and was caught in malpractice again by Prof Agari. You were expelled after that. You didn't say all these. You see its easy to try to get peoples sympathy by signing a petition but it really doesn't change the fact that the disciplinary committee has record of your misconducts in the school.
To say the least, the lecturer was wrong to have flogged you, but the fact that you have faced disciplinary committee more than once isn't a good record. |
Career › Re: Thread For Auditors & Potential Auditors by Rubyventures: 2:52pm On Mar 31, 2016 |
senatorbayor: Do we still call them Auditors or risk Management. Any difference from the above. I will prefer the Latter
Auditing and investigation seems to be interesting when its involved Forensic . Its appaling that Majority of the firms pay their auditors low and prefer to pay the accountant more cos they felt he is the one preparing the books forgetting that the auditor is the one checking the accuracy and documentation of the books to either qualify or disqualify it.
The only aspect an Auditor can earn big is to render consultancy services to firms but immediately you apply as an employee, You are somewhat relegated and almost been sidelined as an outcast cos the impression out that is that an auditor is coming to look for fraud forgetting that such function is the secondary .
My question to those practicing Audting is this.
why do we have most if not all audited reports been unqualified despite the existence of fraudulent activities in that organization.
Why is it difficult these days for investors to rely on the Audited report of a company ( Example is the failed banks during Soludo's and Sanusi Era , Auditors like Delloitte had performed their exercise , yet the Apex bank through its own examiners merged those banks citing weak system)
What is the role of auditors in the emerging economy crisis . how can they come in to salvage the ugly issues.
Will An Audit firm turn down an offer in an oil firm where the offer is juicy due to Familiarity threats (e.g , the family to the managing partners is the Finance Director ) And is the practicable in our Audit practice these days .
Can an aspiring Auditor who applied in a firm turned down their offers if the accountant is his blood relation (Note that the auditor has been searching for this job for some time)
Is it a breach of the ethics if he accept the offer or should he disclose to the HR his relationship with the accountant before he can accept the offer as an employee.
Hoping the Gurus and accountants/Auditors in the House will bail me out In an ideal world, if there is a conflict of interest, which may lead to impaired judgement on the part of the Auditor, then maybe he should turn down the job, but in a Nigeria scenario during the interview, when asked if he knows any body in the company? he can state this and see where it takes him. |

sandali: DESPERATE COUGAR CLARION CHUKWURAH.JUST SEE HOW CHEAP THAT AWARD PLAQUE LOOKS. PROBABLY KNOCKED TOGETHER IN SOME KITCHEN. MAYBE SHE CAN USE IT TO COVER THAT WINDOW GOING THROUGH HER TEETH. SHAMELESS WOMAN WHO CHANGES HUSBANDS LIKE SHE CHANGES HER UNDERWEAR.
THIS HER AWARD MUST BE FOR 'WOMAN WITH THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF PARTNERS'. At least the one who accompanied her thinks he is her husband, though no evidence of any formal marriage ceremony or even traditional marriage. Deluded fools. Chei!! what has this woman done to you?? We live in a free world, it is her life, live and let live, let us not be too quick to pass judgement. Calm down. |

Not until Nigerians stand up against evil deeds they will continue to be treated like animals in a zoo. In a more developed country you have no right to lay your hands on a kid, talk less of a grown up lady. Violence has never solved any problem. |

OP Cats are lovely creatures, they also have a mind of their own as you cannot force them to do things. That's why they are called free spirited animals. They are very intelligent, love humans and love to be cuddled and are very clean. It will be better to get a female Cat because the male cat can be destructive to your furnishings such as scratching and weeing to mark territory. A further advantage of having a Cat is that a mice will never visit your property. |

SAEJO: Are we not looking at only one aspect in tis matter? the physical aspect, what abt d spiritual aspect of it? if we all agreed that God created man & created him in his own image, if we agree that God is perfect & that He has no desire to cause us pain, where did the hormonal inbalance came from? Genesis 1 vs 31 says"and God saw everything HE had made, and, behold, it was very good" Now talking spiritually, I think d questions we ought to be asking, abt all such cases is; what happend at the point of entering dis world, REVELATION 12 vs 12 If we want to look at this issue on a spiritual level, maybe we should look at Nigeria as a whole. Why are there churches in every corner? so many Christians yet it lacks human empathy the leaders are wicked and the life of one of its citizens means nothing. Is Nigeria hell fire on earth? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Man With Breasts Spotted In A Crusade.. See Shocking Photos by Rubyventures: 3:36pm On Mar 24, 2016 |
MartialArt2: Yes, that's Hermaphrodite Hermaphrodite is the presence of both male and female genitals. There is no mention of this in the write up. Most men have breasts and some might be bigger than others, this condition is medical and occurs due to hormone imbalance. The money spent in the church should have been enough to operate. Nigerians are supposed to be intelligent human beings but when it comes to religion, they loose the use of their brains. |
