Education › Re: I Knw Sharp People Re Found Here That's Why I Broth It Here... Come In And Help by ruffhandu: 3:54am On Sep 25, 2015 |
tomzee2: Pls solve this for me urgently. Let's assume you saw a laptop of 97K. You didn't have the cash, so you borrowed 50K from ur mom and 50K from ur dad = 100K. You bought the laptop which left you with 3K change. You gave ur dad 1K and ur mum 1K and kept the other 1K to yourself. Now you owe your mum 49K and ur dad 49K. Now 49K +49K = 98K + ur 1K kept = 99K. Where is the missing 1K?I know you are intelligent. Solve it and tell me the answer.... The bolded is the wrongest maths you have ever done. The 98k is debit to you while the 1k is credit to you, never add them together like they belong in the same place. You may rather do 98k + ur (-1k) =97k. There is no missing 1k. U either choose to keep the 1k and owe your moma and papa 49k each, or u give it to one of them and owe him or her 48k. |

Now that banks have learnt to lay people off without a kobo, it'll be an income cushion for a while. It should not stop one from investing/saving anyway. But that their one year condition is not ok. |

...The emphasis should not be just on sending people to jail for corruption, but also, in deterring acts of corruption... The bolded is my view. You don't go dealing with the branches, for every branch you cut off will be replace with fresh ones, so long as the root is still connected to the soil. Uproot the tree and the branches will die. The system need to be structured aright, such that corruption will be naturally discouraged. |

iamboody: You guys just read and wail, I wonder what level of education most of you attained, even in a free country like U.S entering or moving around with over $10,000 in cash (or equivalent will require you to declare the cash and will raise a few red flags. They may require proof of where you earned the money and ask why you're choosing to bring it to the U.S, so what is the problem if somebody carrying $156,000.00 is arrested by the Authority in Nigeria? If our Igbo brothers can declare and defend the amount they are carrying then no qualms they can even carry $1m without needing to swallow it. What happens to online transfer. I hope you know that no policy stops you from having dollars in your account or transferring same abroad for school fees or any other legal dealings. Endeavor to go to your bank for education than wasting most of your time on Nairaland. The bolded is not entirely true. There are new CBN policies, the reason smuggling of physical dollars is now a deal. Do you know even with your naira denominated Master/Visa card, you can only spend a maximum of $300 or it's equivalent in a day? Whether you are home or abroad. There are limits to your bank wire. Most of them policy are actually geared towards making foreign currencies less desirable. But unfortunately, the reverse seems to be the case. If you have a way of getting hold of dolars at the official rate now, the margin on it would be geometric if you decide to sell same. I wonder how much these guys would be paid for "dollar swallowing", coupled with their flight expenses, that would still make the trader make profit from dollar smuggling to Brasil. I believe this country is at a "turnaround" point. Things may start getting better once we settle on some of these |

I think the germans are taking the regret of the holocaust too seriously.
Theres no way this comes out good for them. theyve used the picture of that boy that drowned at sea to wash everybody face and theres no way they have a good agenda.
How can their own kind refuse them and Germany fails to consider that? My dear, I fear what is to come from this people in Europe and America soon. Someone asked "why can't they stay in Syria and fight the terrorists?" |
