Ans: yes. But I think the main account lasts as long as, not just one month.

Ans No you check balance with *559# or *559*2# or *559*4# or send 8 or 7 to 131

3.Can the amount in the main account be shared or transfered?

Ans No unless if you load and extra you can transfer. Once you subscribe, mtn takes the money from your 'live' account ie, the balance you can view with *556#

4.if i subscribe twice for gb1000,does that mean my balance(main and bonus) will be doubled i.e 2000 and 3000 resp..? .

Ans No the second one will not activate until the first is exhausted, they'll inform you if you still have GB balance and try subscribing again.

Trust me, I don't know which word to describe you, very excellent. These people have been chopping my money since. I used mtn biz plus @ s#1000 per week. I really appreciate you, sir. Please do I need to migrate from my current plan (mtn biz plus) to enjoy goodybag or I should just dial GB1000 once I'm ready to subscribe straight caway?

Just load N1,000 and send GB1000 to 131 as text message. Let me know how you faired.

Also, if I make calls to other network, is it from the main balance or the bonus they will deduct? Also, calls to other network are charged at what rate? Is there any daily charge or usage that I must reach?

I tried to be as explicit as i could amidst my schedules.
Yes, you load N1,000 and subscribe and mtn gives you N2,500 (N1,000 main and N1,500 bonus).
Initially, if you make calls to mtn, you are charged from bonus, untill N1,500 exhausts, then they now charge from the N1,000 main.
Initially also, calls to other networks are charged from the N1,000.
To elaborate, after a successful subscription, if you make a 10mins call to an mtn no. and another 10mins call to glo; you balance becomes N940 main account and N1,260 on bonus account.
I hope I made an attempt at my clarifications. Feel free to ask further questions.

The 750 goodbag seems to be cheaper on the long run But since the bonus account last for a week, then Gb 1000 surpasses Wat u get from other package or network. Nice analysis, well-done.

You are right if N1,950 is awarded for N750 because it would be a bonus of N1,200, which is 160% of the initial recharge.
But for the N1,000, since N1,500 is awarded as bonus, which is 150% of the initial recharge of N1,000. The N1,000 is better for me though.

Bro, once you buy GB100, your live balance depletes to N1,000, and thus wouldn't let you subscribe for the N1,200.

This is the best deal so far.
Let me analyse it further for you guys.
I use N1,000 GB. With this, I am given extra N1,500 bonus+N1,000 main account.
The N1,000 is for calls to all networks, including mtn. But while the N1,500 lasts, it is exclusively for MTN calls while other networks chop from the N1,000, untill the N1,500 bonus is exhausted, then all calls will be made from the N1,000, or what is left of it.
For the bonus of N1,500, mtn charges 40k/sec. At this rate, you'll have access to a total of 3,750 seconds (62.5 mins) for MTN calls on the bonus account.
For the N1,000, you are charged 10k/sec; which translates to 10,000 seconds (166.7 mins) to all networks.
So, Assuming I make only mtn calls all thru, then I would have access to 229 minutes (62.5+166.7) of call time for just N1,000, which may average out to N4.36k/minute, or 7.27k/sec.
Since I discovered this, that is what I use to make calls like I am richer than I actually am.
My brother uses the zone stuff, but the problem I have with it is that some times it is extremely cheap, but some other time s it is not. So, you have to wait to catch when it is cheap. Me I no fit defer some important urgent calls sometimes.

MTN Goodybag is the cheapest for now. For the N1,000, you send gb1000 to 131, and the bonus lasts for 1 month. As it stands now, my Goodybag validity is till June 8, 2015.

No hidden charges, no conditioning you to make 10seconds call first, just straight on. Even without the bonus, you are still good at 10k/sec, which others can't even beat, not to talk of a whole lot of 62.5minutes of talk time to mtn calls. Nothing beats this as at 18th February, 2015 (11.02am). Quote me anywhere.
