Looks like Mata is the 'false' 9!!? |
If you are wondering what made Wenger sign Welbeck, surely you should be asking the same of Brendan for Balotelli... I absolutely see nothing that both bring to those respective teams! |
Villa just love playing in Anfield sha ![]() |
We've seen Welbeck... lets see how Cleverly fares ![]() |
Though its still early doors, but is it fair to surmise that Costa has been scoring because he stays more in the box !? |
Lamela coming good for Spurs too... na wa oh! |
This is a very "un-mourinho-like" Chelsea... not so solid defensively, very good on the attack. Perhaps he wants to prove he can play attacking footie too! |
Remy sef open his own account... shu bobz. Omo Chelsea use eye enter market oh! |
Yep. They've found their man! |
Fab4 proving to be a big, big buy! |
Some stunned faces at the Bridge... Swansea really taking it to 'em! |
Wilshere and Silva ![]() The guys dey ball ![]() |
You know your team is "effed up defensively when Dimichelis scores against you... ![]() |
r231: Funny enough they are doing everything right apart from their usual problem........FinishingEspecially considering that the City midfield and ball-passing from the back has been so untidy... they have gifted Arsenal the ball in very dangerous areas which they didn't utilize. I think Dzeko should come on; Navas is getting acres of space down the right but delivering low crosses because there is no height to aim at! |
r231: Noooo....typical WelbeckVery typical... The way things dey go, Arsenal may get a real hiding here this afternoon ![]() |
Premier League - Warnock: United 'too big' for Zaha Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock believes Manchester United was "a bit too big" for Wilfried Zaha. https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/football-warnock-united-big-zaha-213203296--sow.html |
coogar: who should falcao replace?Rafael Da Silva... push Rooney out wide and keep Mata in the middle for starters. coogar: https://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2014/9/12/1410550725385/378ad4e3-cd40-4ba9-8de7-e2b323912505-381x420.png |
I don't care who plays, as long as I see Rojo and Radamel Falcao on the pitch, I am very alright! Take note of those names folks, take note! |
Premier League - Van Gaal: Welbeck left because he doesn't score enough Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal let Danny Welbeck leave the club because he felt his goalscoring record was not good enough. https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/premier-league-lvg-welbeck-doesnt-score-enough-172021234--sow.html |
Fresia01: if s.a have It all good why did u.s ask Nigeria to help instead of S.A. y didn't d woman hold her peace till she gets to s.a.wia she is sure of proper medical treatment if actually she turned herself in!!! u are just ranting nonsense!!! unrepentant pessimist dat can't see anything good in Nigeria even wen its so glaring!!!Geographically, Nigeria is closest to the troubled spots... its like strategizing with S.A over BH issue rather than Niger, Chad and Cameroon... Also, no one can really prove whether or not she stopped and reported herself (if this is the case) because she was more assured of better care here - whatever the case may be, we should be thankful that she did - at least, we are all spared of the hysteria associated with groping about in the dark or worse still, wallowing in ignorance whilst the disease travels from one person to another unnoticed! |
godG: Yes, brother. I won't say I have no regret, let me just take pride in learning in a hard way. Unfortunately, having such opportunity again is rare.Nah. Its not rare... its always there. Just be able to see it and be decisive about what you want to do! |
OliverPin: Wait oooooo Is "LOL" a greenLight or a redLightGood question ![]() |
Mynd44: Now what happens when she doe the same to more than one guy? Like the poor fellow who you said "Fvcked up" she has showed the same thing to almost every guy around her. And just cos he then sees it as her normal habit, you implied he is slow.Yep... it is usually not win-win for most dudes dudes. But like the lady said, we should take it more "as a call to explore" - and in doing so, erring on the side of caution! |
UjSizzle: Ok. Let's define what the green light is not. You've put into perspective quite nicely; actually very succinctly. I have no idea why but... Thank you!!! |
pro01: If I want her badly enough, I always give myself the 'greenlight' and go for the kill immediately. I'm too old, too carefree, and too colour-blind to sit around and wait for greenlights.Tu' Gbaski... Tu'aile Baba! |
Litmus: Secondly, an individual that suspects or worries that they may have contracted a transmittable illness handing themselves to authority isn't something for congratulations but something one does as a matter of cause -even Patric Sayer did similar after a fashion. The point is, people wonder why come to our shores in the first place.I will agree to disagree with you... yes, there is no need for 'congratulations' per se but this is actually the sort of practice or action on the part of individuals that should be encouraged and continuously drummed into the consciousness of the public here. "If you notice something odd or out of place, please notify the authorities for proper checks and confirmation" . If what is said is true and she actually turned herself in, she did the right thing and at least deserves a measure of commendation; also we Nigerians need to be shown this as an example because it is one effective way if early detection and arrest of this scare. Forget what motivated her to do so; as we have clearly seen over the past months, others have acted more 'stu.pidly' and ended up putting many other lives at risk! And by the way, the poster you responded to did mention that her flight was in transit; probably meaning her final destination isn't Lagos! Maybe we should be looking at the Maroc people (or wherever it is that the flight originated) and asking them questions rather than heaping it all on the woman. Then again... it could all be nothing! Finally, the link posted says "Liberian"; the body of the story, "South African"...!!? There has to be an official release to give any further credence to this report. |
mcfarlin: I understand your point about decline brought about by advancement in age..You are missing the point. Read this quote below and you just might get my gist. MrTA: I think the inference that Messi could successfully extend his playing career by being a deep lying attacker is fair. Its obvious to me that he seems to have more creative vision in his style than cristiano. Its probably a reason Messi plays better in the middle while cristiano is better out wide. I can definitely see him playing that way if he decides to do so later in his career. |
Change the manager / Assistant of Team Manchester to Manuel Pellegrini and Giggs. Zabaleta should be in place of Rafael and Rojo should be LB; Nasri and Silva should fit somewhere in that team! |
codedguy1: LvG was asked if the new players would get United to really kickstart our season, he said he hopes so!We can't lose to QPR... there are advantages to having so many potential game-changers or winners in a team; somehow , somehow sha at least one of 'em will rise up to the challenge. |
Xavi rejected summer offers from Manchester United and Bayern Munich by Tom Conn | Posted on Wednesday, September 10th, 2014 Barcelona captain, Xavi Hernandez reportedly rejected summer offers from both Bayern Munich and Manchester United, as he refused to leave Barcelona to join a European rival, with the 34-year-old finally deciding to stay for one more season. According to Mundo Deportivo, Xavi was approached by Louis Van Gaal to join Manchester United, but the former Spanish international refused and was later approached by his former teammate and coach, Pep Guardiola, who wanted the playmaker for his Bayern Munich side but moved on to Xabi Alonso, who he did sign. Xavi made it clear to both, that he was not interested in strengthening any side that could rival Barcelona in Europe and wanted to remain with Barcelona, rejecting offers from MLS and Qatar, including a €12 million offer from Michael Laudrup’s Lekhwiya side. In the end, Xavi took up Carles Puyol’s role as captain and despite losing his starting place on the squad, the 34-year-old chose to remain with the club through their transitional period under Luis Enrique. http://www.insidespanishfootball.com/124343/xavi-rejected-summer-offers-from-manchester-united-and-bayern-munich/ |
mcfarlin: All what u said about messi to me its just high praiseI'm not doubting CR7's form, fitness, class or commitment to work, I am just trying to look at both players in years to come, say when they are 30-35 years. It is a fact that with age, comes a decrease in speed, pace and pawa - which are essentially features that define a winger. I don't think that is even debatable. I draw comparison with Giggs because at the latter stages of his career he had to 'learn' to play as a CM because the legs were not there any more to compete as a winger. Even at present Messi can play as a creative central midfielder, CR7 cannot (or hasn't been tried out in that position as yet). CR7 may yet prove me wrong and develop himself to be able do the same; but if you think that at 30-33 yrs CR7 will still be running around and do all the tricks and flicks of today, think again my man! It is not a matter of fitness, it is nature... ask Baba Giggs or Gary!!! |
Just dey watch, UTD female fans go double if not triple sef over the course of this season because of Falcao... trust my gidi chics na - dem no go carry last ![]() |
