There's a need for each nation's GDP to be verified.I see folks with higher GDP but no developments are seen on ground,which led me into thinking where is their GDP?

My conclusion is,most of African nation's GDP are cooked and over cooked.And they have cooked their figures for two reasons.
1. Pride.
2.To attract foreign investors

But the whole thing have backfired.Most foreign investors have run into huge loses,they even closed shops in some of these nations just because the faked GDP figures and what a common man has in the pocket doesn't match

Not our 2019 GDP - was 98B dollars. Last year it will drop to 90B - due to COVID. This year we may recover back to around 100B.

Let get some facts straight.
1) South Africa is 3-maybe even 4 times better than Kenya. Definitely many times more than Nigeria when you remove Oil.
2) South Africa is not growing - it stuck. Kenya is growing very fast - in all levels. This not about COVID but this systemic economic meltdown.
3) I predict kenya will hit South Africa level in a decade or max 15yrs. Where will South Africa be - most likely stuck in middle class trap like many Latin America countries.
4) This is because I think kenya is about to hit an inflection point and grow very rapidly. Kenya has been nailing the basics - and now is about to take off. Demographically - we had a transition in 2016 - when 0-5 age cohort became less than 10-15 - we are about to get demographic dividends (maybe 10yrs from now) - we are nailing infrastructure and social investment. What remain is for kenya to vroooooooooooom...like Veitnam is currently doing and likes of China did.

So kenya in next decade or so will close the gap with South Africa.

Those in high school who sat for final high school exam in 2020 were admitted when Kenya was at 80% transition rate are about 0.5m.They sit for national exam after 4yrs.About 0.15m joined university and about 0.2m enrol in Tivet.That leave a balance of 150k who join medical training, teachers training, army or stay at home.Kenya want to ensure that we get 100% transition to universities and Tivet..so we are building 1 extra college per constituency..300 of them.Village polytechnics are under devolved gov and dont count

Now we talking annually about 0.5M graduates of high school - about 150,000 qualify to join university.
