In Kenya things are done differently.

I think the difference is the scale and the weapons. Before european arrival in Africa - most conflict were low intensity - with primitive tools- there was no industrial scale - with guns and bombs - so generally the death toll was low - and massacre - leave genocide was not common. The industrial ability of western power gave them the ability to commit massacres at a shocking scale. Armed with a machine gun - and with very low population of that time - you could literally exterminate a whole gene pool.

The next who knows - someone could nuke a whole country out.

Kevo, I think we tend to look at history from a narrow perspective. The European (white) dominancy is not even 1,000 yr. At best the European/White have been on top for 500yrs - while Humans have nearly 6 billion years or something that crazy. It's a blip in history. Egyptian (essentially Black) civilization lasted for MILLENIUMS. The American (leave USA/European) lasted centuries.

The western civilization is not even a millennium ...which 1,000 yrs.

I have consistently maintained that South Africa did slightly better than Nigeria. It used it's mineral to build their economy. However they have no post-mineral plan - and now for a decade their economy has tanked if not stagnated.

Look at Thailand. About 70M people against South Africa 60M. Thailand is on it's way become a developed nation. South Africa is trapped in a middle class like Latin America countries.

The reason Thailand is not mineral dependant like South Africa
