Good afternoon mamas.
Kindly help a FTM out. My baby is 4 weeks today and hasnt poo for 4days now, he's really trying to poo or so i guess, its making him cry so much like the poo is hard. I dont know what to do and its so hurting watching my little boy cry so much. Pls help me out i beg all mamas

That's colic. Although my baby still pooed and didnt cry as much but what worked for us was me lying him on his stomach on my legs and tapping his back or lie on his back and do bicycle kicks. I also used infacol, ot gives instant relief.

Samsung said warranty does not cover liquid damage. We had to pay 40k to repair. Less than one week later, she was throwing a tantrum and flung hubby's phone and screen went balnk. initially it was high like 7-10 time, that was why we were given antibiotics. The God it reducing anyway. But it her weight that is botheri g me. She was birth at 3.9 kg and now 4.9 kg

Yea. That is alarming. I think you should see professional help asap, as in right away. How come the doctors didnt say anything about that?

Good day mamas! I beg make una no waka pass o. My three months baby has been on exclusive breastfeeding from birth but rate she poop has not reduced if she doesn't poop is three to four time daily. We have been to the hospital twice given antibiotic still no changes.
Secondly, I want to know if at 14weeks she is weighing 4.9kg small at her age . should I add formula to her feed to boost her weight. Pls, help a worry mama

Why would they administer antibiotics just cause baby is pooing 3 times a day? Did they run a test to see if there's infection or what?

My baby is 3months, exclusively breastfed and poos like 3 times a day, till date. Sometimes more, sometimes less like 2wice a day and he is perfectly healthy. Only thing is that the quantity of poo varies. He even had a low birth weight at 2.5kg but now weighs 6.6kg.

I just think u should talk to a paediatrician and if formular should be added, then by all means do so. The koko is for baby to be healthy.

I’m a ftm with a 2weeks old. I’m handling baby alone as no older one is avaliable where I am. I’m breast feeding and had a 3 degree tear which is healing up. What more can I do to heal faster and get tighter as I was ttc for 7years so I want to start up for another child and what meals will help me keep up with breastfeeding. How can I take better care of babysnd help build sleeping patterns as I have barely slept since delivery as he spits up after feeding as he hardly burbs so I have to sit him up for 30mins before laying him down and can only sleep when he’s in my arms so if he spits up from month or nose-I can quickly attend. Pls post all counsels as none will be a waste as it’s all new to me. Also my naval is still protruding,what can I do to help? Thanks so much Mummys

Mama two weeks is really a short time. I had tear too, my mum always told me to keep legs closed, sit on a wooden stool. My doctor told me not to sit on warm water till i was 2weeks pp, i ended up not siting on it at all. I only just use warm water with dettol when bathing. At a point i think one of my my stitch got loose but i lock up and it healed just fine. Although i didn't feel totally fine till i was 2months pp. You can do sitz bath regularly with warm water to heal up, take your drugs too. I also took vitamin c daily for 2months to heal me up.

As per burping, i used to sit my baby up on my lap to burp but i hardly got any out till i changed position. Now i carry up on my shoulder and firmly tap his back and he burps really well now. I never experienced the spitting up thing.

As per sleep pattern, i didnt develop any. He sleeps when he wants. But i assure u that with time it will get better, he almost has a routine now. I can almost predict when he wants to sleep. I understand how rough it is now, i was equally alone till my mum came, those days were very hard for me.

And as per trying for another baby, mama, the same God that did this one, will do another for u at His time. Give your body time to heal, dont stress it. Childbirth isn't a pot of beans o.

Those things you mentioned can be easily gotten, most if not all pharmacy stock them. Walk into any and make enquiries. The prices differ cos there are different brands and also location too matters. But generally they aren't expensive at all.

Lol. Till date my hubby is still traumatised by that night. My son cried all night, fever and was cranky. He only slept when i carried and danced around. By the next day, he slept all day. Good thing was he still managed to suck.

10weeks was a walk in the park for me sha. No crying, just slightly raised temperature, which lasted for 2days ans pcm took care of that. He slept well and ate even better.

I put my baby on her tummy too, that was after narvel was completely healed and I observed she was beginning to gain head control..she turns her neck when she is tired of staying down in a particular position.

It will get better. I know people say not to lie baby pn stomach but at such times i used to lie on the stomach o. He slept way better.

Mamas please how long must I sit on hot water to be guaranteed that my V is completely healed?

My baby is six weeks old. I gave birth with a tear and I was stitched. I did seat bath for 4weeks and stopped. But recently, I started feeling some pain inside my V, especially whenever I bend down to pick something. I don't know If I should resume the seat bath again.

Understand that everybody heals differently. Warm not hot water and besides i was stitched too and my dr told me to wait for 2-3 weeks b4 sitting on warm water. I never sat on warm water or did sitz bath. It took my 2 months b4 i felt completely fine.

You can resume d sitz bath and give your body time to heal

You see that pooing thing ehn, i suffered it. Is it that you have not been able to poo since childbirth?

In my case, i freely went to toilet a few days after childbirth and was able to do so a few times after that but like 3weeks after, i couldn't go. I would try and try. My mum got me a whole pawpaw and i took a bowl of golden morn cocopops. Then the urge came.

My sister i saw hell in the toilet. As in i was there for over 1hour. It was so hard and dry( sorry, tmi). But after the hard one, the rest came out easily. So my dear u gotta be brave o.

My dear, get infacol ( the uk brand). It is pricey but works. Gripe water didnt work for me. Nospamin made my son have temperature.

Infacol is the ishhhhhhh! Tho pricey but works. Thankfully my son's colic wasnt bad. Stopped before he was 2months sef. Gripe water is rubbish, tried it after infacol finished but my son was always spitting. Threw it out after 2trials.

The only reason I'm saying this is because when I had my son as a newborn he was continuously drooling, we found out he had swallowed maternal blood and it was treated.
If yours has been drooling right from day one like this then its not normal but if its a recent development, then it could be teething and yes I've seen heavy droolers that grew up to be perfectly normal kids.

Still, if you're worried or feel something isn't just right, please see a Dr.

He didn't start like this o. This just started like few days ago and he is always putting his hand in his mouth. Anything g8ies to the mouth, i make sure nobody touches his hand these days, even i do not touch it.

You need a very good primer and probably a setting spray.

Please I need a good foundation, was using milani(foundation+concealer) bought it 4k but recently is now looking like I embalmed my face, no matter the little I apply even hubby started complaining. Have switched to my local foundation.

Do u use a primer? If yes, stop it or reduce d amount u use. Also moisturise your face well and reduce d quantity of foundation. It looks that way cos the foundation is sitting right on the skin and not absorbed into d skin. Try to exfoliate.

I have that foundation, it is quite oily, not my favourite tho.
