No mind them. Remember every baby is different. My son is 6months and hubby decided to get a walker for him, which we just pack keep for somewhere because he isnt ready for it. He leans forward and his feets aren't planted on the floor.

As per sitting, i started putting my son to sit when he was 4months plus, by 5months he was good at it. Keep putting her to sit, she will get d hang of it.

4months is rather too early in my opinion. How's the head control like? Since she can't sit properly now, how then will she stay in the walker besides i doubt her legs will touch the ground.

Pls help a worried mum out. My boy is almost 9months, he did exclusive for six months plus till I introduced solids(light solids with breastmilk) without water. Now I've started introducing water, he has refused to take water. It's always a tug of war whenever I'm spoon feeding him water bcus he doesn't like feeding bottles, so I'm left feeding him with spoon, of which i have to fight with him to take just few spoons. Most he'll spit it out or uses his tongue to push the spoon out of his mouth. I'm worried bcus he has started experiencing constipation and I can't be giving him breast to suck all the time he rejects water or giving him the 'P' fruits when water is essential to the body.
Pls is there any other means I could use to deceive him? Help pls!

Have u tried a colorful sippy cup or straw cup? Nuby brands have quite a few. You get those with handles, that way he can hold and tip to his mouth. You have to keep trying, he needs it. But waiting to 9months was a risk o.

They are almost the same. Rockers can be rocked back and front but bouncers can't be rocked, you have to bounce the top up and down. In my opinion, bouncers are quite stationary. I have a rocker and i just use my feet to rock it. How old is your baby? Have you considered a swing? Cos swings use batteries, u don't have to use your hands. Bouncers and rockers can be used much longer than swings tho

Colour theory..

The yellow in the yellow corn + the guinea corn reduced the color intensity of the brown millet.
The brown millet comes in different hues too. Some will be reddish brown and some will just be brown like tea.
if you really desire the brown color, reduce the quantity of the yellow corn and guinea corn but increase the millet.

Leave color alone o....na the content/ingredients be d koko.

Morning mamas. I made 'brown' pap for my son yesterday, tried it out today and for some reason it isn't brown, milky colour. As far as i know i followed the steps correctly.

Pls those who made theirs should tell me what i did wrong o. I used 2cups yellow corn and 4 cups for both millet and guinea corn.

Keeo putting baby to breast, it will eventually flow. In the mean time, get formula for your baby. Alternatively, buy a breast pump to stimulate it.

Hmm...teamie I don't even know what to say to u to calm u down. Am in d same shoes with u and I carried my panic attack enter here and mama Bles..sedDiva calmed me down.
I think this 2trimester have a way of making one worried and paranoid. Even me my bump has reduced in my eyes. I just tire. But it's well with us, maybe u can go for scanning. My next visit is on Friday. I greet everyone.

See ehn when it comes to pregnancy, no two are alike. We all pray it ends in praise but then no dey take risk. If you feel something is amiss, rush to the hospital or go for a scan. No need waiting for antenatal days.

No matter the trimester, one shouldn't feel 'unpregnant'. Trust your instincts. All the best.

Go to the hospital ma. My almost 6yr old niece complained of such 2weeks ago and it was a case of food poisoning. Just find a way to the hospital.

I refuse to accept or say that I am almost getting frustrated. Baby now sucks but the BM doesn't flow enough. I have turned to pap and milk therapy, but there is very little improvement.

Baby has been stooling watery stool for days now. Every diaper change is soiled with stool . He stools more than 3 times a day. Some ppl said its the formula- sma gold that he is taking. That we shld change formula, but he drinks the formula well. He appears not to be gaining weight. Do u guys give baby water after formula ? I do. I don't know if it is causing the watery stool. He is also on abidec, vit c and cod liver oil . his appetite improved after the multivitamins introduction . he feeds every 3 hours . I intend to stop giving him cod liver oil then change the formula to see if there will be improvement in the stool consistency and frequency

Work on hygiene. Also i can categorically tell you vit c causes baby to stool frequently. Besides except prescribed, your baby doesn't need all those, if you must, reduce to like once a week. What's the cod liver oil for?

Boys start at 4months, girls can start at 3months. All depends on good head control.

Whatever you intend giving your son, pls don't introduce too many new foods to him at once. If you give pap and formula, try that for a while b4 jumping to another type of food. If you are doing cereals, start with single grain cereals first. Also, for every new food you introduce, wait atleast 3days b4 introducing another one, this is to identify allergies and also so that he csn get used to that particular food.

How old is your baby? Is it the same hair u claim haff chop finish you want to groom? Just moisturize the hair and let it be till like 3-4months.

Lol. My son wanted to try that thing with me, that day i made sure he sucked more from that same breast and i still offer it more to him now. Thats how i corrected it.

In my case, i noticed that d right breast produces more milk and rushes out faster, so he naturally prefers that one cos he is a foodie.

U can mix the formula with breast milk but the breast milk should be more in content. With time he will get use to only formula. It worked for me that way

There's no specific amount of water. It can be given anytime but I don't give my baby formula from 9pm till 9am. He breastfeeds throughout d night

Thank you so much. The young man has refused formula o, he will just bite the nipple and wriggle his way out. He takes water better. I'll keep trying. Do you have any tips on how to make him take formula?

Hello mamas, I feel I should post it here maybe someone who has been in my shoes will advise me.

My baby is 3 months plus today. I have been in a recovery mode till last week when I and DH finally did the "do". I am a FTM and till now my AF have not come after delivery. I wanted to go for family planning tomorrow but I don't know if I should wait till I can do a preggy test to be sure I am not pregnant. Or am I safe since my period have not commence yet?

Go to the hospital, a pregnancy test will he conducted before anything is done.

My dear sister, let nobody fool you o, stretch marks takes forever to clear. It might not even totally clear but will become less visible. There are some essential oils that you can try. Check out google for essentially oils to ease stretch marks. In all, patience is key.

Please who has used or is using this finger brush for their babies? When can one start using it? A post on Instagram said from 1month or so but it is bigger than my baby's mouth I can't even use it. How else do you mums take care of your babies mouth and how often do you wash? I did the cotton wool, warm water and salt cleaning sometimes..

My son is 5months and yet to start using it. For now, if u must clean ur baby's mouth, just use a wash cloth. I soak on hot water, allow it to cool and clean. I think the brush is maybe when two or more teeth come out.

Just buy and feed. Most formula brands have mixing method on the can. Just drop one breast feed and switch with a formula feed. You can start at the quantity recommended for his age on the tin

For water, most babies don't immediately take to water, start with 30ml before feeding, or 1st thing in the morning. There's no required "dosage" for water
