Seize her ATM and change the sim she uses in receiving alerts so she doesn't send money to people anymore. The only person she is supposed to be assisting is her mom. Whenever her mom needs money, she should tell u and u make the transfer ursef. U can also brief her mom on what's happening. She might hate u now but as long as whenever she is done with u and u give her her complete money, she will know u meant so well for her.

She might think u won't give her her money later. And money is somehow, she might want to leave anytime and u may not have such amount with u. I know of someone whom it happened to and the whole world blamed her for allowing someone else keep her money.
U could however, seize her ATM and change her sim card or change her Mobile app pin so she can only receive alerts but not do anything with the money therein. As the other mama suggested, u could also give her a token from her salary for recharge cards and other girlie expenses.

From what you wrote I think you both have good relationship not just househelp-Madam thing. Continue talking to her about saving. Also suggest to her that you’ll like to help her save by keeping it for her and giving her any amount she wants to use at any time so she can monitor her spending. You can open up a register for that for her to sign any move she removes while you record the deposits you make monthly that way she can always review. Some people find it hard to say no and I think she’s in that group. Don’t leave the good work you’re doing, she’ll appreciate it later

I opened an account for my help, she doesnt have an atm , she cant do transfer. She only gets an alert when i pay hersalary. The elder brother wanted me to pay into his account whrn he droppedher with and i said NoP. When it was time to pay her salary, i took het to the bank and opened an account for her, monkey no go dey work while baboon dey chop. He has asked her for money several timesbut she cant give. Its not fair what these relatives do. My help is 21years old. Shes old enough to have savings. She csnt be a help forever.

Please see what you csn do for her. If it means going yo internet banking to disable everything, do it. When she sees her balance after some months, she will appreciate it

Sister I already thought of this but the crowd in the bank is discouraging. Besides with the Covid-19 thing, I don't want to expose myself and the kids.

I got a live-in help January this year, she would be 19 this year and so far, she has been good, no serious complaints at all. We relate very well.

Now, when she started, she said her monthly payment should go to her mum via her brother's account. Her dad is late.

My husband disagreed, that she cant be working and someone else will take the money. Especially as she just registered for jamb and needs to save for school. He suggested we opened an account for her and whenever her mum needs money, she can make a transfer. The mum sells in the market and they also have farms where they grow stuff for commercial and home use.

Now, this girl doesn't spend 1 naira of that money in my house. She feeds well, I provide every other thing and I pay her. The issue is I check her phone sometimes without her knowledge and my aim is to check her account balance. My people can you believe this girl has only 110 naira in her account.

I went through her messages, various people asking for money. I am only aware of 6k she sent to her mum to help her buy chemicals and stuff to prepare my help's farmland for the new corn season. My help has her farm in her village.

There was a time I checked her phone and saw her balance was low. I didnt tell her, I just used style to ask her about her savings and she told me about the money she gave her aunty. This aunty has 6kids, stays in the same town as us. According to her, she wants to start pap business, so the best person to ask is my 18yr old help who is the same age as her first son??.

This same aunty that we begged and begged to help send this girl's id card and jamb text book then, till today we no see am. I spoke to my help and advised her about spending anyhow. Imagine my disappointment when I checked and saw 110naira.

I dont know if to take this up. I told her never to send money to anyone without my knowledge. This morning, someone was asking her for 2k. Another was asking her for credit.

I want to tell her I'll keep a large chunk of her salary with me, will give her something for airtime or whatever. I kuku buy airtime for her sometimes, the next day I ask her, credit is finished. There's one yeye boy in her text msg asking her for favours.

What do I do? Those with helps should advise pls. I have spoken to her before but I dont think she understands. I even saw where she sent 3k to a friend in her village for someone else's wedding, as per friend of bride.

I think it's unfair for me to just watch her spend anyhow.

Private hospital? If yes, a lot of them are like that. Ideally on every antenatal day, you should he tutored on specific topics. We were taught how to push, bathe baby, care for yourself etc.

My MS stopped at 13 weeks and I was glad about it . But few days ago, I started another MS, I am 15+ .... and my stomach disorderliness won't allow me to rest, from feeling sick and nauseous to restless and constipation.
My midwife is supposed to attend to me at 16 weeks but later changed to 20 weeks due to this pandemic. Just tired and will appreciate your input please.
My EDD is November.

MS can last throughout the pregnancy journey, there's no rule to it. Just accept your package with love

If urine, hold on a little and do a blood test. I would suggest you hold on on the malaria drugs till you are confirmed not to be pregnant.

Do not do a pap smear test while pregnant.

Understand that pregnancy hormones can be very wild, a lot of things can go off, don't accuse your husband.

I developed warts whilst pregnant for my first child, it just appeared, I was around 4 or 5months gone. I spoke to my doctor about it, it assured me it was probably just pregnancy hormone. He said they would burn it off with something in the delivery room after I put to bed but luckily, it all disappeared before I put to bed.

You can apply if you wish but it doesn't stop cold or do anything to the fontanelle, all that is a myth.

And yea, it could be the oil causing the rash, experienced same with my kids, so I just stopped altogether.

If you are breastfeeding exclusively, it is totally normal and nothing to worry about. If you are giving formula as well, then you need to give water, just little sips.

Thanks dear for the response, I administered paracetamol because he received his six weeks immunization as for the other drugs I was totally against it but my mum and DH overpowered me saying it was administered to me and nothing happened to me. I guess I would stop the drugs.

He doesn't need all that. Pcm is ok to soothe immunisation pains and relieve fever. Even gripe water and infacol isn't exactly necessary, hence should only be given if baby has colic. Some people dont even give at all.

With my first son, he had colic and used infacol with helped alot. When I was expecting my daughter, I bought infacol too, she is 6months plus now and the bottle is still here unopened. Just wasted almost 3k for nothing.

So just breastfeed well and his poop will go back to normal

If it doesn't smell or itch, it might not be an infection. That's being said, some pregnant experience increase vaginal discharge which stops after delivery.

I would suggest you let it be or try natural remedies.

Apologies for the long message below but we need some help.
We have a four month old baby and noticed spots starting to pop up on her skin in February. Within the space of two months, these spots have almost totally covered her whole body from her scalp to her legs with majority of the spots on her back and face. Paed/dermatologist suggested skin biopsy to ascertain what it might be/what might be causing it but the result came back inconclusive so they couldn’t recommend anything for now while they wait for another consultant to review. We’ve been on sebamed oil, soap and powder since day one. Does anyone have experience with seeing something like this (pictures attached). I am personally worried as the spots seem to be spreading and we don’t know what to do to at least stop the spread and treat her skin.
Experienced mummies please kindly advice.

What were you instructed to do at the hospital?

Anyway, we didn't bathe him at all that day. The next 2days, he just had a sponge bath, no water on the site and we were told not to apply anything till it falls, then we used penicillin and vit c.

Staph infection was detected, though moderate but you need to treat it. Count is ok too but motility needs to be worked on.
