Rorhymes: Hello Sagamite. Just stumbled on this post its been a while. I'm just wondering what your views are now on the present state of affairs and if you still agree with your previous position Hi, mate. Thanks for the enquiry. My view of the present state of affairs was already coincidentally predicted by myself 2 years: https://www.nairaland.com/2797178/unemployment-leaderships-selfishness-agony-depressed/1#40941673When black idiots vote for fools, they get what they deserve. Including being sold like cattle in Libya. I warned repeatedly that the Cretin of Otuoke was the dumbest thing ever and people should kick him out in 2011, but despite 2 better options (Ribadu and Buhari), they voted for the reeetard who destroyed the country. Four years of black gold bonanza that led to our highest budgets ever was all squandered and looted using private jets of pastors. A pure looting garlour of goats eating yam, reserves depleted and squandered, with destruction of institutions and moral fibre. To the point a crass market woman can be emboldened to go to court to lay claim to $30m dollars she cannot explain. As I said in 2015: "You will all pay for this grave mistake.
The way it is now, the prospects for majority of the youths in the near future is bleak and your kids will also be products of a failed education system as there is no money to fund anything well.
Nigeria is back to square one and we have to start rebuilding from scratch again like we did in 1999.
Remember: It is far easier to destroy than to repair/build.
The jobs of the youth today is not to enjoy but to work hard and build for the youths 2 generations away.
Your lives, hopes and future (in regards to enjoyment and ease) as been destroyed by GEJ."It is time to suffer! And Nigerians are suffering. As for present adminstration, they have a serious challenge in their hand. They have to build everything from the ground up again (as I said 2 years ago "from scratch" . Every fibre of the public life was reeking with corruption including judges. Nothing works. As I said: "It is easier to destroy than build". The economy was based on capital from crooks, who then used it to hold on to power and continue their crookedness. The likes of Emeka Offor were labelled "business moguls". Someone that probably cannot spell "university". When you close these thieves looting tap, the economy will inevitably suffer. People do not know how to do things the right way as companies never saw it as a feasible way before. Investors want to see how the change pans out first so they withold on high risk investments. Motherfuckers will lose jobs and suffer. As I famously said, Buhari has great intentions but I never trusted his intellect or competence, and he has not proved me wrong. https://www.nairaland.com/2132222/former-dictator-better-choice-than/6#30484386That said, he was a far better and the right choice between the two in the 2015 elections. Otherwise, middle-class Nigerians would be eating from bins today with the way PDP was looting the country to stupor. |

mistel: sexual harrasment could be verbal or physical. verbal must have strong derogatory language without complimentnts to be harrasment. flirtatious talks with the recipient 18+ enjoying it isn't harrasment. Physical harrasment has to do with touches! Touches which the recipient wouldn't allow especially one without a romantic relationship with the person touching. For Rape to exist, there must be forceful penetration without consent (coercive consent inclusive). A male cannot plea a case of rape against a female directly, but a male can plea a case against a male. A female can only plea a case of sexual harrasment against a female and not rape directly except in cases of aiding, abetting and complicit roles.
NB: A husband cannot be convicted for rape against his wife under normal circumstances.
I stand to be corrected. So if I tell a girl: "You have an arse that I would like to splash my nice yoghurt on one day", I have sexually harassed her? |

neocortex: You sound angry.
If you get harassed, would you report? If you won't report nor complain why should your decision invalidates the rights of others to tell their story? Why should anyone adopt your personal standard as the ultimate gospel truth.
If person A states that I hate being touched on my shoulder, you should respect that and desist. It doesn't matter if you don't see anything wrong with it. It is their body not yours.
And to your point 5, in no jurisdiction that I am aware of is it considered an harassment, merely expressing an interest in someone isn't an harassment unless you persist after being repeatedly warned. What I think you want is that you get applauded for engaging in number 5, unfortunately, women are not robots and you should expect any reactions, but if you can't tolerate adverse reactions, I suggest you stop putting yourself in the firing line. What is your point? If someone does not like to be touched on the shoulder and they are, they have been sexually assaulted? I am still trying to extract any ounce of sense in everything you said. I am fcking being blunt here. Helep me! |

Take away the money from the league and see it go into oblivion. Amsorry? You are cretinous fccktard. What a moronic question? I watched the YouTube video of Roberto Baggio the other day and I was screaming my head off, I asked myself "why isn't Baggio celebrated as much as these other players" ? The answer obviously is because he wasn't as awesome as the YouTube clips made him. ( nonetheless, he still won a 'FiFA world best trophy') .
So , I don't believe all these short clips. I rather watch the entire game.
So, You may actually be right about CR7 being better than Cruyff. You can see Cruyff on Youtube. Yep. Baggio was great. Those were the people burning up Serie A in the 90s. I would put him in the 3rd tier with Henry, Neymar, Romario and likes. |

The only reason CR7 won over Messi is because the idiots voting would look at the fact that Portugal (a team) won the Euros. The idiots would not look at the process of winning, just the fact they won is what matters. That is the fallacy of general vote. That is why Nigeria got GEJ, the most reetarded reetard of reetards as President. In the same period, Messi scored 64 goals in 62 games, while CR7 scored 55 goals in 59 games. That is 1.02 goals per game vs 0.93 goals per game. But idiots would look at what a TEAM won after coming third in a group to attribute it to ONE player. So wipe that smile off your face, son. |

John O'Shea won more than john terry yet you can never put them in the same class, one is regarded as one of the best to ever grace the EPL , the other is regarded as a player who played for a great team.
Football is more than who won.
That is why , every one (atleast 99% of football fans) rates JJ Okocha who never won anything more than Obi Mikel who is one of the most decorated African footballer .
That's why you have to always look pass the stats and actually watch the game.
I watched Henry played , and only 2 players ( CR7 and Luis Suarez) played @ the same level. Both CR7 and LS didn't stay in the EPL long enough. Your head is very correct with the highlighted. CR7 improved a notch after moving to RM. |

What has Messi won that Ronaldo hasn't won?? Most of these awards are based on people voting on goals scored in the year. That is the problem with a general vote. Those without analytical skills get to vote. Some of Ronaldo's wins are in seasons when Messi was off a few weeks injured, hence less goals. If someone with a brain does analysis based on ability, what happens on the pitch and contribution to the team, CR7 has NO CHANCE! |

Iamthoney: Of what use is the competitiveness when those six strong teams don't make statements in the UCL? The semi strong team in La-Liga will easily claim the EPL title without much sweat and the babies of La-Liga will annihilate the babies of EPL anytime any day so where is the match? If the babies of La-Liga gets as much money as their EPL counterparts they will make La-Liga very very strong Son, what are you arguing? You mean the same league that has produced 2 UCL winners and 4 finalists in the last 10 UCLs (including an all English final in 2008) is not making statements in the UCL? Nonsense about the semi-strong teams easily claiming EPL title. These are the kinds of jejune statements that let me quickly know your age. Typical unreasoned, bias but passionate statements. Because you don't want EPL to be the best league does not mean it is not the best league. If the likes of Athletico, Valencia and Sevilla were playing in EPL, they would most likely be ending in the 3rd to 9th position in the league most times. If their players are that good, they would not be taking half the wages they can get at Arsenal at these clubs. The likes of Granada, Gijon and Celta Vigo are no better than Wolves, Reading, Blackpool, Hull and Nottingham Forests in the Championship. |

CR7 is a goal scoring machine. That's all he is..
Don't judge based on sentiment, be objective. Objectively CR7 is not even in the top 3. Fcck Fifa.com!!! If by now you don't know FIFA tries to be diplomatic with its praise and choices, and tries to honour old players, you know nothing. I can see the clips of CR7 and Cruyff. Cruyff has nothing on him. Cruyff is a rung below and I am being generous because he is a pioneer that has no one else too look at to develop himself. He has natural talent and developed an epic style that has been improved by future generations. If Cruyff was playing today and he played what he used to play then now, I would not even put him in that rung, I would drop him another rung to the levels of Figo and Brian Laudrup. I would agree CR7 is not top 3, he is 4th in my opinion behind Messi, Maradona and Pele. He is the ultimate goalscorer that only Messi and Pele have matched. |

And as you say... In my post, i tried enough to respect the opinion of the fans of both.
Very unfortunate that your hypocrisy will not allow you to know that you have contradicted yourself and do not respect my opinion by saying it is pure nonsense.
And messi said he leaves the best discussion for people to decide means the award they collect will decide the best. And in this case Ronaldo is in the same level with him.
You should be showing me videos and telling me why his style of play makes him on par or better than Messi. You claim he is the complete player? Explain how you came to that conclusion. |
Sports › Re: Messi's Decision To Stay At Barcelona Ensures He'll Never Be The Greatest Ever by Sagamite(m): 11:15am On Dec 01, 2017*. Modified: 11:43am On Dec 01, 2017 |
KinzyeWriter: Sorry.. He can score like Cr7? as in? Messi has scored that kind of insane long shot from outside box?
messi outside box goal doesn't matter because it is shot are not far from the box like cr7 has shoot in is career.
People please when trying to prove some things make sure you are more factual and detailed. This is pure nonsense point. The insane shots you refer to are spectacular. Messi's goals are way above that, he scores beautiful magical goals. He scores goals that involves dribbling multiple people, dibbling legends. He scores more intelligent goals. Picking up the ball and everyone trying to stop you by tackling you but can't until they pick up the ball from the back of the net is far more impressive and INSANE than taking an unexpected shot while defenders are lax. So just saying Messi scores like CR7, is a privilege to CR7 because it is referring to rate of goals, not type of goals. Type of goals, Messi wins. And I am also being generous to CR7 because rate of goals in their career, Messi wins. KinzyeWriter: Messi and Cr7 are 2 different things.... Messi is the more talented guy than Ronaldo. But Ronaldo is the Most Completed Player Football Has Ever Seen. Please explain to me the completeness of CR7. This would be fun. KinzyeWriter: Messi talent and desire to play football is the traits.
Ronaldo Determination and hunger for success is the key of his greatness. but many cr7 haters usually term this as selfishness, but when messi picks the ball from midfield and dribbles past everybody is not... Messi would rather pass if it would lead to certainty of goal than Ronaldo would. Ronaldo would rather score himself. There has been clips of him getting antsy when team mates score when they could pass to him. Messi would even forgo a freekick or penalty to team mates, Ronaldo would always insist on taking penalties or try the first freekicks because he is focused on his goals record. He is a goalscorer, not a complete player and he knows that, so he focuses on his goals far more than Messi. Messi has other things he can rely on to show his worth. This is why people say he is selfish and Messi is not. KinzyeWriter: Cracks me up a lot when people say messi is supernatural ..Lols.. So what should we call a Natural being competing the supernatural and has won him in some occasions? Lmao. How as he won him sometimes? KinzyeWriter: Messi pleases people with is great dribbling skills that can be compared to that of Pele. Nonsense. It appears you don't know much about football. Pele is not in the realm of Messi's dribbling. Maradona and Ronaldinho are. Pele is not even in the realm of Iniesta. KinzyeWriter: Ronaldo pleases is fans with his "I believe I am the best determination" he is a motivation, role model, yesterday he posted a video of his son at the academy, he scored a free kick.... There is a lot to be said about Ronaldo.
My Daddy enjoys watching Messi play... and he would say Messi is the best... I respect your opinion sir... but how close is Ronaldo? he is said he is no where close... I went straight to YouTube and showed him some Ronaldo clips, he was confused to say that again after that. Please show me the clips you showed him. Let me help you intellectually dissect it. KinzyeWriter: So these players have given people enough reason to prove their greatness, but when you say messi is the greatest of his generation it can be questioned as the article as clearly stated.
And when you say Cr7 is the greatest of his generation, he has his weakness too...
Both have being genuinely better in their own way.
If you ask anybody today who is the best and he said Ronaldo or the latter... he just mentioned who he loves playing.
Ronaldo was asked who is the best player at that time - he replied... himself and said not only that time he has always think of himself as the best player and has motivated him to where he is.
Messi was asked who is the best, he said there are many best players like xavi, neymar, iniesta, Cristiano, robben... but I will leave for people to decide.
The response of these two should tell you why people should stop being sentimental.
Leaving it for people to decide is the award they collect for their performance and dedication each season... so as long they are equal with the world best awards that should tell you that nobody is better than the other.
There greatness will later be remembered in history by their achievements.
So in this case messi will be remembered by his dribbling legacy.. and ronaldo the most hard worker and complete all round player football has ever seen.
I rest my case. Well, it can be questioned. Everyone has a right to their opinion is not the same thing as every opinion is equally valid. Opinion from intellectual & knowledgeable analysis and facts is far superior than opinion of excitable/misguided ignorance. That is why I hardly have enough respect from awards based on "Public Vote" like BBC APoY. Pure nonsense! |

Iamthoney: Competitive in what sense sir? When its champion couldn't dominate European club premier competition (UCL). If only La-Liga could match the money that's been use to run to the EPL you will see that EPL is truly a poo league. The league is competitive and more interesting. In the EPL there are up to 6 strong teams and the gap between these 6 and the other teams is not as high as in other EU leagues. You have to wait till week 30 before you can have an idea who would win the league. La liga has 2 very strong teams, 2 or 3 semi strong team, and the rest are like babies. The 2 strong teams are so strong, even stronger than EPL's 6, while the babies are like UK Championship league top teams. One of the 2 teams would win the league. Not competitive. Bundesliga has 1 strong team, 1 semi strong team and the gap between them and other teams is high, and at the beginning of the season, you know which club would win the league. Not competitive. Serie A has 1 stong team, 6 semi strong teams and the gap between these 7 and the other teams is not that high. But by week 20, you would have an idea who would win the league. Semi competitive. It is not about dominating Europe. It is about how enjoyable/unpredictable your league is based on competition. |

positivetaught: don't get me wrong pls,I'm not comparing PSV n Barcelona, I was only narrating his career progression, how he started from small n even after playing for barca he still left n continued to be a success thus proving his greatness beyond doubt, this is the question mark messi need to erase in his career, like or not there is the assumptions that the barca setup make has help messi to his achievements n there is thus the doubt that outside of barca he may not succeed much, with his new contract he will live with that question forever worst of all if he isn't able to lead Argentina to glory in Russia next year. First of all, in the 90s, PSV was not a small club. It was one of the top clubs in Europe. Think of a club at the level of Monaco, Sevilla and Tottenham today. In the late 80s and early 90s, it was churning out stars after stars that later became legends in bigger clubs or their respective countries like Romario, Gullit, Cocu, Koeman, Popescu and Ronaldo (R9). The silly 'question marks' and 'assumptions' are from those that (1) don't know football, (2) are poor at analysis and reasoning and/or (3) are some partisan idiots, especially CR7 ones who want to say he did this and that at Man U (forgetting he did nothing at Lisbon). What Messi is doing in Barcelona, no player in history has done in any big club, no matter the set up, set down, set 2, set 3, set 56, Setubal whatever. Not even Maradona did it Barcelona, not R9, not Romario, not Ronaldinho. His ability is Godly and supreme! He can score like CR7 and Pele. Even scores more goals from outside the Box 18 than both. YEP! Many of you would be surprised at that fact. He can dribble and playmake like Maradona. He has done everything that one has done and did it more times. |

bitchcrafts: Chai u can abuse oh.. But they have YouTube and the internet nah, so they are not as ignorant as yo claiming. And the EPL started in 92 after it broke away from the football league consequent from the abuse and repeat of the time, so what are you even saying? Do you expect the league to just "blow" like that from inception That is if they bothered checking Youtube or internet first. Unfortunately, the stupid youths we have nowadays have no critical thinking but they love to talk especially on social media platforms. Products of a failed education system. So what if EPL started in 1992? What has that got to do with his moronic claim that EPL was the top league in the 1990s followed by Seria A? What has my expectations got to do with his stupid claim? |
