Sir, I don't want to mention the name of the church or the pastor.

You know what kind of people we have in Nairaland.

They may end up insulting the man and the church.

It would seem as if I brought the man out to Nairaland to be mocked.

I have had terrible experiences with people here who are always ready to insult anything church and pastor. So I can't try such again.

Some would even say I am trying to advertise my church. Although I am no longer worshipping there.

I remember when Akpanudoedehe was the first set of people who began a church here in Uyo at Akpakpan street.

He was very strong spiritually that sometimes he could command the rain to stop and it would stop immediately.

They said he was always very prayerful and was very strong spiritually.

By the time I started attending the church, he was no longer a regular member, maybe because he traveled or was always busy. But we only heard of his exploits.




People who started the church always spoke of the mighty moves of God in that church.


When I started attending, I saw former governors and top politicians who came every day to seek for God's favor. At one time, IBB came, although he did not come for service but went straight to meet with the owner of the church in his house.



Abacha tried to arrest the owner/founder because he prophesied that Abacha would die within a week. But when SSS came to arrest the founder during the church service, he walked into the midst of the elders, came out and walked into his car. They even open the car door for him. When he drove away, they all came to their senses. The founder later said God instructed him to walk into the midst of the elders, so that God would make him invisible by the aura of the elders so that when he walked out, the SSS people won't be able to see or arrest him.

Just like he said, Abacha died within a week.


Infact in those days, that church was the most popular in Akwa Ibom aside that of Reverend Uma Ukpai.


Things happened which I witnessed and they were miraculous.

Hello, a fresh graduate just relocated to Lagos in search for job and doesn't have a place of his own for now but squatting with some friends. It seems he's not that comfortable.

He saved some money from his previous job in Enugu before relocating to Lagos in search of a better job.

Presently, he's thinking of enrolling in a cyber security training and ethical hacking tracking with his savings.

Should he get an apartment first before he gets a job or he waits until he gets a job before he rents an apartment? For now, he's squatting with some people and not really comfortable.

What do you suggest please?

Hello everyone, i need your advise about a step I’m about to take

I’m a university graduate from one of the top Federal Universities in the country, my field of study is related to agriculture and since I finished school about 6 years ago all the jobs I’ve been getting isn’t really paying enough, they are mostly farm jobs paying 30-35k at most, I’ve considered setting up myself but tbh I have no back bone and it isn’t easy, I’m 28 and I’ll be 29 this year then I decided I’ll really need to learn a skill if I want to be relevant in the society because sooner or later I’ll start considering settling down and all. I tried learning tech stuffs but I have to be honest to myself I’m not a tech person, I try forcing it but no be my way, it’s better to be honest with myself, I’m not the kind of person that likes sitting down staring at screens for long even my phone, I’m a natural handy person, that’s one of the things made me go to that field of study in school(Agriculture), I learnt a bit aspect of the tech which I enjoy to an extent that is drone piloting but I don’t think that is something I should sit with, so I’m thinking of learning an handy skill which is why I need your advise, I’m passionate about painting, infact I’m good with it and it’s all self thought but I’l don’t want to go into it full time because I’m scared of height so I’m considering learning POP and house interior which I’ve taken a step to start learning infact I have the money to pay and I’ve gotten someone to start teaching me already, why I opt for POP is I like the job and it’s an handy work plus Real estate is booming so skill related to real estate should be a hot cake at the moment, I’m going in full time to learn and im ready for the adventure, because to be honest with ourselves if I keep saying I will land a good paying job due to my certificate and All, I might just keep waiting and might not move forward and time waits for nobody, so Nairalanders I need your advise or your opinion do you think I should take this step? , do you think I’m making the right decision?

Lagos’s industrial output is largely driven by 10 firms, including, Nigerian Breweries PLC, LaFarge West African Portland Cement Plc, Nigerian Bottling Company Limited, Unilever Nigeria Plc, Nestle Nigeria PLC, Flour Mills of Nigeria, UAC Nigeria, Guinness Nigeria PLC, PZ Cussons Nigeria PLC, and the Dangote Group.

These 10 firms account for more than 50% of Lagos’s industrial output.

I would encourage you to research the ownership structure and history of these companies. With the exception of the Dangote Group, the ownership structures of these l companies are dominated by persons of Southwest origin.

So, why would you say that the Igbos control 97% of the industrial capacity of Lagos State?

Perhaps I am wrong. In that case, I invite you to demonstrate my wrongness by introducing contrary facts to these.
