LorDBolton:Ignorant fellows always claiming I too know and each time show their ignorance for all to see. ...Oga it's d judges prerogative, if he decides to suspend sentence pending D decision on patience jonathan suit @ D high court den so b it.... If ur D one to decide wht is right or wrong or political or not, why r u here on nairaland n not seating on d bench.....educate urself young man |
omamush:Hahahaha abscond to were, keep living the dream, u tink these thwarts here on nairaland represent D minds of right thinking Nigerians, we r over 200mil peoole n dese country, we r watchn D steps D govt is taking, Buhari mite not get it all right but we r watching ND by 2019 right thinking Nigerians will make up deir mind again n vote for sustainability |
LorDBolton:Oga if u had read d text, u'll c that the judge only found them guilty, buh postponed his sentence because of some issues like d patiences suit at d court, tht doesn't mean he wouldn't sentence dem, he would .......Read posts thoroughly bfre displaying ur poor level of reading and comprehension |
LorDBolton:Oga read the article bfre u show ur unintelligence. |
No blow ur babe, kip spending money n b doing best companion, yl one bad sharp guy be bending her over, giving her d touch your toe style......... |
AmuDimkpa:Buhari will borrow this money n there's Nuffn u can do bout it, the moni is even too small, wht is 30bil dollars?? . I feel they should have borrowed more. |
repogirl:You just reiterated my point that u just cook up stuffs without any fact finding, it terrible n I weep for u wen u say "u dnt need to do any research".. Let me start by saying first of all that u made no point first comment which I quoted, neither have u made any point n this one... I think ur comment is senseless in every sense of d word.. N I mean it..... Here is why: First u said it was on record tht Nigerian displaced SA to be d fastest growing economy in Africa, I agree, with u. When Buhari came on board Nigeria dropped behind South Africa n I tink Egypt, nd pple like u wailed, but r u aware that Nigeria based on recent report has bounced back to be d fastest growing economy in Africa inspite of the recession : do ur research... So u can't attribute tht to d successes of d previous govt. If been D fastest growing economy in Africa is an achievement then y r u not praising D current govt cos it's also fact n it's on record. Truth is been D fastest growing economy in Africa is largely due to our overwhelming population, as u know we r d most populous black nation. so Tht doesn't reflect on d standard of living of d people. So if Thts what u mean by bustling den d economy is still bustling ryt now. You talked about d IMF boss warning Buhari about d receding economy, tht was because d IMF boss wanted Buhari to devalue the naira, D IMF boss was wrong, y devalue a currency Tht was already devaluing itself due to lack of forex and depletion of our foreign reserves by d immediate past govt-This is a fact, do ur research to know the Genesis of the problem. I'm not an economist but I know that wen u dnt EARN enough forex, which is due to d fall in oil prices globally , which is no fault of Buhari and d Militancy n d Niger delta causing the output of crude our only source of revenue to cripple by half. In addition to that Jonathan had crippled our foreign reserves which could have been our last hope. It was a dead end for the new president. Let me take u down Memory lane, I'm taking my time to school u, because u wallow n ignorance.. In 2008 or so, do u remember the global economic crisis, even d US economy entered into a recession, how was yaradua able to save D naira, because countries that depend on naira were d worst hit, nd so we were faced wiv a full blown recession, buh yaradua kept is afloat... How did he do that?? It was the saving that we had from objs regime that was used to defend D naira, week in, week out. Our foreign reserves saved us. I dnt mean excess crude account, thts diff fRm foreign reserve, cos i know I'll bring D gov forced GEJ to share proceeds fRm d excess crude acct. So our reserves was able to keep us afloat n Nigerians didn't feel d hardship because d naira remained stable due to d fact that we have saved alot of foreign exchange. Now GEJ deeped his hands into our foreign exchange, tht was even more bolstered by yaradua, n depleted it despite having the price of crude oil, stable at over a $100 during his 5yr tenure. We're where u wen NOI was asking us to save for the rainy day, u guys never knew it would come, GEJ failed to heed tht warning, D rainy day has come nd u find it pleasing to blame the new sheriff in town, how wicked can u be. Are u aware of the crises Tht was about to take place during d tail end of GEJs tenure, are u aware Tht GEJ was already borrowing to pay workers salary, how come immediately Buhari came on board he had to give states bail out fund to pay salaries from a "bubbling economy" as u called it. Truth is u know these facts u just choose to ignore dem n dwell on the once that better ur cause of wailing and defending wrong doing Now to talk of the loan, there's nothing wrong in borrowing, even biz men borrow to carry out projects Tht wud generate money so they r able to pay back D loan, I find it really hypocritical to say that there's no plan on how d loan would be spent, isn't that dumb?? Are u saying u have not seen or heard d key infrastructural projects Tht d loan Is supposed to finance, or is it tht ur not just dumb, ur blind and deaf also. The Senate has rejected without even debating but they were so quick to amend the CCT/CCB ACT.... Right thinking Nigerians are watching d drama all of u r putting up to ensure that Buhari fails, u tink ur winning, ur happy..... Truth is Buhari won't b d one to suffer it, neida will D politicians suffer it, it's d ordinary citizens trying to make ends meet everyday Tht will suffer it, and if this man means well for us, nd pple like u r trying to block D progress like our corrupt senators then posterity will judge u. I can't tell if he will at d end come out good, if he will take d loan n embezzle it, I dnt know, I dnt trust Nyone, but that doesn't mean we won't take d risk, tht doesn't mean we won't help our situation. The greased risk they say is taking no risk, that is worse off. I drop my pen at this point. Help urself, educate urself, be informed, try to be objective, analyze situations from both angles bfre making statements that will embarrass u nd show ur emptiness. |
repogirl:I weep wen I c pple like u talk unintelligently on social media, I wonder if we d youth or let me say young adults even carry out research at all I dnt blame u wen u talk like this, too much attention on Brazilian hair, iphone, Mary Kay powder..has turned our young ladies into dummies.....sometimes I wonder if in a general sense...Ladies in general think because they r ladies then they r allowed to be dumb Now to d point u made tht its totally a distortion of the truth. What do u mean by he met a "bustling economy". Have u ever researched to find out what d economy was like bfre GEJ entered n what it was bfre he left?? If u have not please do, bfre u make a urself appear dumb |
seunmsg:The number of right thinking pple r dwindling day by day, I just pity d president, every tin to make tins right has been opposed by those who r against development. If u ask me, I'll say he just go ahead nd do what he likes, because dese guys r not ready to allow development. They r destined to make him fail |
Largas:Dnt u need money to diversify, we just know how to abuse words, everyone is saying diversify, how can u diversify without infrastructure.......we know how to use mouth to do things, buh to take action we kick against...buhari should diversify d economy with his teeth..... |
Blizzy9ja:A pure case of receiving a hot slap on ur face by ur mate n saying my dad said I should not fight in school, if not, I would have finished u. U result to such statements wen u dnt have a superior argument. I quoted ur statement, what's der to understand??...you said "these tins happened without his knowledge"..... Tht was ur statement.....This is a literal statement. |
Blizzy9ja:You just confirmed his cluelessness, u mean all these took place without his knowledge nd he is d president, so what exactly was he doing, getting high I guess. That's d exact reason he was booted out. Cos too many tins took place without his knowledge... We deserve better than a numb president.....U c urself in a bid to defend d fact tht has been brot bfre u, u rope him in d more....u need healing n deliverance |
Collenshy2020:Pple like u result to such statements wen faced with the truth n u dnt have a superior argument.....lame excuse |
Nigerians na wa...Dangote said sell national asset, public outcry, oya d man wants to borrow, u shout he wants to us n chains, what do u want him to do??...u tink he is a magician, y is it so hard for pple to c tht he means well??...The era of PDP is gone, let's all embrace it n give this man a chance. Bruce is complaining, but he has not for once proffered solution, the soln tht he is profferin he is stylishly condemning. Look round d country, which leader in our political sphere right now is better equipped to lead the country...I dnt know of any. Let's all support buhari atleast of only for d remainder of his tenure |
Achorise:Let me take u up from this point, I dnt know if u dnt c it from this point of view... U said its d work of the National assembly n d judiciary to make laws tht work n to enforce these laws by ways of sentencing corrupt individuals to jail. Now u fault buhari for not creating a modern sys tht fights corruption, like GEJ introduced BVN, there u make d first mistake, BVN doesn't stop anyone from stealing public funds, neither does TSA.. All these sys have loop holes...a man tht steals public would just starch d moni n his house....like d case of d judges n obanikoro airliftn cash of 1.2bn naira....tht is already a way around d useless sys u r acrediting to GEJ. GEJ is to blame because most of d corrupt practices n his govt was done under his nose, nd he authorized most of dem, so if I dnt blame him, hu else wud i blame, at some point in time, he would have questions to ansa. There is only one principle tht works n d western world tht u fail to acknowledged, which is strict punishment for corruption. In western countries, there is no hiding or soft landing for d weekend, there u can't b convicted of stealing 30b n b asked to pay a fine of #700k. When u have such Judges, tht give such corrupt judgements, no amount of mechanism u take from d western world would work. U asked y didnt d sys fite corruption from d national assembly??....Fighting corruption from d worst corrupt arm of gov, have asked urself, what is d jail term for corruption??...Ur guess is as good as mine, we dnt know...prolly der isn't even any jail term or even if there is, mayb a yr or two wiv an option of fine. Ask urself y have dz senators refused to create strict laws on corruption??, because dey demselves dnt want to fall victim of their own laws. Did u c wat dey did to d CCB/CCT act, pls read d amended act and c how dey r trying to institutionalize corruption. The problem we face in this country is major one born out of corruption, its threatening d very existence of d nation. It is endemic n to fight it effectively, u must be fought wiv force, drastic action. Those corrupt individusls r using u as shields to protect themselves from d law.......after kipn us n d state we r now based on their looting n corruption. Ur hatred for buhari won't let u c d truth |
sapiosexual1:What's the reality tht would dawn, u guys just like talking rubbish out your twisted minds...gonna check urself, examine d state of your mind |
drss2:I feel like insulting u, because u no wan wise....I dnt understand how pple like u think.....u want to fight corruption by putting mechanism in place by way of legislation to mke it difficult to fight corruption. I bet u didn't think tht by urself, u heard someone say it nd u just carried it. U compare Nigeria with other countries.... There u get it wrong. Nigeria is ranked as one of the most corrupt countries n d world, it means d system is corrupt, so if ders corruption n d executive, d legislature n d judiciary, who wud put d legislation in place. The president can't put legislation in place by himself, this democracy, those to make d law to fight corruption isn't d president, its d national assembly. So wen u have a Nass n judiciary thts d most corrupt institutions of govt how do u go forward. I'm taking my time to explain to u because I weep wen I read comments like this, I just wonder n weep for this country, I wonder did u even go to school, because I expect there r some things u ought to know now, u dnt just come out n mke unintelligent comments. So enlighten urself, because ur case ehn |
Bujumbura:People are suffering, has there ever bin a time tht pple weren't suffering n this country, even n d US, der r pple tht still suffer by their own standards. Your just another twisted mind, so because r suffering, u now distort d truth. Well der r people like me, who stand for the truth, no matter what d circumstance. The wedding was a modest one, it wasn't a state function, thts what I call, leading by example. |
tete7000:So a presidents daughters wedding should be celebrated as a state function??, u support tht??......u dnt mean it??. I think u need to see a doctor to get ur head examined. So u support using state funds on a lavish wedding because wedding is fun n should b celebrated. Its pple like u tht have kept us were we r today. because ur thinking is twisted, riddled with corruption, u like every oda person saying d op is senile n sick....u CNT differentiate bw what is right n wrong anymore. Its obvious u r a product of 16 yrs of corrupt practices, so wen a lot of pple can't tell what is right from what is wrong anymore, I'm not surprised because 16yrs is enough to twist someone's mind |
sweerychick:I have read a lot of comments here but I decided to quote yours, not because I agree with you, buh because u seem intelligent. But I must say this, no matter how intelligent u are, u cannot defend a stupid idea and still appear intelligent. If u read tht article by d OP, ull c tht d op is trying to pass a msg, which is....doing what is right. I have read pple say, a lot of unreasonable and senseless tins about how she married as a fourth wife so ders no reason to do a large party, some even said muslims wedding r usually not xpensive compared to xtain/southern weddings.. I find these excuses really dumb n anyone making such dumb xcuses is either a dumb person or d person is tryna play dumb. I m one who is of d opinion tht we have done things for too wrong, I feel a lot of Nigerians r sick mentally..because we dnt even have an idea of what right is anymore. I m really pained wen I read comments like urz, I ask myself how did we get here. Can u imagine if d wedding was flamboyant, wouldn't u have come out to criticize d govt??, m sure u wud??.....it isnt, instead of u guys to give him credit u r saying we shud wait till Aisha child gets married..... The way u guys reason in dz country is worrisome..I ask, with such reasoning, wud we ever move forward?? |
Justiceleague1:You are a bloody liar, claiming oredo/uromi/benin...I bet those r the only names u know bout Edo state...we d legitimate citizens of Edo sate dnt associate ourselves Biafra...not even during d civil war, get ur facts right, bfre spewing trash.......if ipob wants to go, let dem go without d south south.....the south east would be worst parasites than d north.. Why do u guys always claim south south as ur brothers, is tht brotherhood born out of true friendship or brotherhood or out of greed n d oil they possess. I doubt its out of true brotherhood, cos d average easterner, doesn't eve care about his own kinsmen not to talk of others |
Solange06:What has buhari got to do with this??, This is an internal PDP affair, nd d court has picked a candidate for the Party, so y r u blaming buhari......a |
eyeview:Too bad u can only wail on naira land. |
Clinton9000:With all their success dey tend to b d ones hu complain d most |
Donexy16:The change PDP couldn't deliver in 16 yrz, u want fashola to deliver in two years...Even Harry potters magic wand won't work n our case. Slow n Steady |
mrvitalis:So govt would come to ur house buy u a cup of juice and start telling u...these info are there, google it u would find it |
saintkel:U stole my style nah |
saintkel:Proper Planning is key to a successful project |
How come none of these rtd permanents secretaries dnt have classic n choice hotels n structures n abj, pH n lagos, like one of their counterpart from one of d south south states named Bayelsa??...or does bayelsa pay perm secs 5 times more than Lagos does?? |
kettykin:I thought Jonathan fought corruption silently, if GEJ didn't c wrong with tht 16b power project y should buhari probe Obj |
bilulu:There r some kind of questions I dnt ansa |
