spectranet uses wimax, 4g technology. Doubt if it would work with 3g devices as they use different spectral frequencies. |

The same way hey destroyed the fabrics of our nation, they have continued to fabricate policies that rather massages their ego and makes them look like great achievers. We are not fooled by their antics. Somebody tell those senior police officers that educational qualification isn't the bane of the NPF, but self aggrandizing policies like these are responsible for our woes in this country. |

Computers / Re: Computer Science And Computer Engineering. Which One Is More Better To Study? by samfibby(m): 7:12pm On Dec 10, 2012 |
To put it simple and plain, if you want to make good money from the IT field, go for comp science, you could end up as a web developer, webmaster, coder, app developer. I mean the list is endless. You could sit in your home or office write programs on different platforms, if you are lucky, you might run into millions (i mean in dollars if u know ur onions). Facebook founder was a programmer, bill gate was a programmer, the list is endless. If u want to sit in your office/shop and wait endlessly for customers with faulty hardware (hoping to rip their pockets out , then aspire to be a computer engineer. How many offices repair hardware these days? Not much, with the price of hardware from china and Asian countries reducing by the day, a new one is always a better option. This is not to say comp engineering isn't interesting. You get to build servers with amazing processors, tons of terabytes worth of storage facility in customer sites and all that and thats about it. On the long run, computer scientists hold the key to the future of IT. 3 Likes |
NYSC / Re: Mohammed Jammal: White Nigerian Corper by samfibby(m): 5:24am On Dec 07, 2012 |
Bandit C.: I think we dont get it. All the nysc is trying to do is make nigerians see that a nigerian of white race (lol) is proud to be part of the programme. The nysc was not a foreign idea, it was ours and the guy is simply glad to be part of it. If we had made the country better for ourselves, by now, a lot of foreigners would be queuing to be in that guy's shoe. Nigerians, please believe in your country, only then will others respect you. 1 Like |

I still dont know why nairaland is filled with opinions that can make a country weep i n despair. A country is as good as the objective and orientation of its people, especially the youth. We should weep to know that a "colored" guy, born and bred in nigeria believes and prays the country gets better, while a majority of full blooded nigerians are not anywhere near this guys patriotism. The guy makes me feel i am not doing enough to push for a better nigeria. All you critics of nigerian nationhood, it is not enough to sit back and blame others for the country's woes, "stand up and make a change like the guy is doing". Me, i am proud of the guy and proud to be nigerian. SHIKENA!!! 2 Likes |
