Politics / Re: Primate Ayodele Releases Last Prophecy On 2023 Presidential Election, Reveals Go by samunaka: 2:37pm On Feb 24, 2023
Newsextra014:

The Leader Of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele has released his last prophecy on the 2023 presidential election coming up tomorrow Saturday, 25th Of February, 2023.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele noted that the top three candidates should have formed a coalition to make the country better but since they didn’t do that, God has chosen one of them to lead the country.

Primate Ayodele revealed that Peter Obi will not make any significant headway in the north where the bloc votes are and that Tinubu, Atiku will struggle for the northern votes but at the end, Atiku will be given the votes in the north. He mentioned that the northern votes will determine the winner of the election and that if the election was to be held today, Atiku will win in the north.

‘’I have a revelation for Nigerians regarding the 2023 presidential election. I am not saying anyone should believe or not but time will tell. I am not opposing anybody. Peter Obi, Tinubu and Atiku are all good candidates, I have said it before that they are all selfish, they should have formed a coalition but since they did not, one person must emerge among them according to God’s direction. I am seeing Atiku and Tinubu struggling in the northern part of the nation where the bloc votes are.’’

‘’Peter Obi, you are a good person but the northerners will frustrate your vote but you have not done anything about it. The voting system will begin to change from now till the early hours of tomorrow, they will be rooting for Tinubu and Atiku in the north, they will put Obi aside and that’s why the G-5 governors are a shame to their political careers. At the end of it all, The Northerners will give Atiku their votes and this is what will determine the winner of the election.’’

‘’If elections were to be held now, Atiku will win the northern votes because there will be surprises in the voting system. As I have said earlier, the northern votes will determine who wins this election, not the southern votes.’’

Primate Ayodele also revealed that the candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar has been given an assignment by God to rule Nigeria for just one term and if he eventually wins, He will use four years to do the special assignment God has placed in his hands. The man of God noted that some of the assignments include restructuring, fixing the education sector, reducing price of petrol, reviving the economy but warned him against neglecting all these God-given policies if he doesn’t want to see the wrath of God.

Primate Ayodele categorically stated that his statement is not to campaign for Atiku or to declare him as the winner of the election because it is only the people's vote that will determine that but if he doesn’t win, Nigerians will suffer more than they have in the past administrations.

‘’Among these three candidates, Atiku has been given an assignment from God to fix the nation within four years. If God gives Atiku victory in this election, he is to use only four years for this special assignment. If he wins and refuses to do the will of God for the people, He will see the wrath of God. He will not complete his term because God’s anger will be placed on him. His assignment is to form an all-inclusive government, take care of security within six months, restructuring before his term ends, reduce petroleum price, fix the education sector, revive the economy. He must not start selling Nigeria’s property to his friends and if he does, he will see God’s anger. If God helps him to get there and he neglects all these policies, God’s wrath will be kindled against him. I am not saying Atiku will win the election, it’s only the people’s vote that can determine that but I am only saying what God sent me to say to Nigerians; Atiku has an assignment placed into his hands by God to fix the nation within four years. It’s your choice to vote for him or not but if he doesn’t emerge, the person that wins will only add to the yoke of Nigerians as it is written in 1king 12vs14. The people will suffer more than they have ever suffered in the past administrations.’’

Continuing, Primate Ayodele released further warnings for Atiku Abubakar, telling him not to spend beyond four years. He stated that God has made Atiku to be the answer to Nigeria’s present crisis and that if Nigerians reject him, many more troubles will be experienced.

‘’Atiku, the Lord said I should tell you that if you win, you must not spend beyond four years or else you will see the anger of God. You must do an all-inclusive government, restructuring, security, health and everything to put Nigeria in order. If you don’t do these, God will be angry with you.’’

‘’Don’t do ethnicity, God wants to put you there to put things in order within four years but if you try to extend beyond it, God will fight you. If Nigerians reject Atiku, 1King12vs14 is what we will experience. I am not for anybody, it is what the Lord says I should say that I am saying. Your comments do not add any value to my life, I don’t want any credit, God’s credit is enough for me and what He asks me to say is Atiku Abubakar is the answer to Nigeria’s present crisis. God wants to give him the chance to make Nigeria better.’’

The man of God referred to his warnings in 2015 and 2019 which were neglected by Nigerians. He noted that he has released another warning again but Nigerians have a choice to follow God’s direction or neglect it again.

‘’I warned Nigerians in 2015 and 2019 but they refused to listen. The word of the Lord is upon the people again and it’s another time to choose between following God’s direction and neglecting it. I am not campaigning for anybody but I will not be quiet when the Lord asks me to speak. I have given details of what will happen if any of these people wins but this is the last message I received on the presidential election. Tinubu and Atiku will struggle in the north but the people will give it to Atiku. Atiku must also be careful in the election because APC cabal will want to turn his votes upside down.’’

Furthermore, Primate Ayodele urged Nigerians to ensure peace no matter who wins the election because politicians don’t fight each other when they lose

‘’For anyone that wins this election, let there be peace and let’s embrace ourselves. Politicians don’t fight even when they lose, they embrace themselves, come together as one family. In the same way, Nigerians should shun violence after this election. We should apply the spirit of sportsmanship after the election’’.

May thy will be done

No amount of hate will stop SE from waxing strong they're good people

Which efforts have you made to pacify the largest voting block in the country, the core north, your strategy through out this campaign has been concentrated in the south and your your so-called Christian north, you have refused to reach out to the entire northern electorate, the imagery line that you have drawn is what is souring Atiku in the north, if at the end of the day Atiku wins this election it is not because the north wants to retain power but because of your skewed campaign strategy, after wards before the emergence of Peter Obi no body was talking about Atiku up north, we only knew Tinubu
Politics / Re: Vote-buying: CBN Asked To Track Bank Transfers Ahead Of Saturday’s Polls by samunaka: 7:10am On Feb 24, 2023
press9jatv:
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has been urged to track all money transferred 48hrs to election day through the commercial banks.

A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Speak Out Africa Initiative, gave the advice on Thursday in Abuja.

Kenneth Eze, the executive director of the NGO, said this would help in possible identification of suspicious electronic money transfer from single source to multiple individuals as politicians had devised new means of vote buying.

“While the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) handle the physical aspect of vote trading, CBN should track all money transfers.

“We equally call on the Inspector General of Police to configure Polling Units’ security agent encryption where each assigned security agent to the polling unit will be held accountable for actions/inactions.

“Action such as vote buying and other vices, and such personal details should be given to the INEC staff in the polling unit to avoid impersonation for recognition,” he said.

Mr Eze said that the NGO had deployed about 1,405 election radar officers to monitor elections across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

He further explained that those deployed would be indigenous voters of the assigned polling units for direct first-hand report from accreditation, voting and declaration of results.

“We have deployed radar officers across the country who will track, observe and report real-time incidences with accuracy as well as assess the overall mood of the citizens.

“They will also monitor movement of Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) materials so far in order to guarantee the credibility and fairness of the 2023 general elections,” he said.

He called on Nigerians to take their destiny by their hands and reject any attempt to arm-twist them through selling their votes for peanuts.

He equally advised Nigerians to come out en masse to go out and vote for candidates of their choice “as we birth a new Nigeria.”

“The daily upsurge of citizens trooping INEC designated centres to do Continue Voters Registration (CVR), collection of their Permanent voters card (PVC) or any electoral related activities is a litmus test that there is a great political awakening especially among the young people who constitute the largest voting population.

“The political landscape has taken a leap and will not remain the same again after the general election,” he added.

The executive director, however, commended INEC for its overall performance, “which could be rated well, except for few challenges, which needed reinforcement and improvement.

“The truth is that INEC has done appreciably well and some of her decisions taken in the buildup of this election have consolidated faith in its determination and capacity to conduct free, fair and credible elections in Nigeria against all odds,” he said.

I for one; I am not carried away with the crowds anywhere because a desperate man like Tinubu with Lagos state treasury in his pocket can mobilize a million poor jobless people to his rallies or do you think having 133million Nigerians living in poverty and them seeing 3k each won't make them attend rallies?

The crowds in most rallies; especially in the Norrh where poverty is at it's peak will attend as many rallies as possible for them to afford basic stuffs like food and this is no Rocket science.

At the end of the day, the votes will be divided and a candidate like Obi will get enough votes from area dominated by Southerners, Christians and enlightened northerners

And on the 24 February he will release the same N3k to the 133million jobless Nigerians you are talking about and they will still go out and vote for him, case closed

Fake news. It is not possible to remove a candidate at this point. Even if the candidate decides to pull out, INEC will still recognize that person and award votes to him/her, nothing will change. This is similar to Peter Obi's new campaign, Osuntokun. He has abandoned his Senate candidacy but because of the time frame, you cannot pull out of the election again.

Anything less than 90 days, you are a candidate but force. The PDP's expulsion threat is dead in water

Political slowpoke, no body is going to remove anybody's name, but once they are expelled from the party and ratified by the highest decision making organ of the PDP, they cease to be a candidate under the banner of PDP, and as you have rightly said it is too late to either remove their names from the ballot paper or decamp to another party, this simply means that they can partake in the election, win the election but at the end of the day who ever comes second in those elections will be given the certificate of return in the court, because all the votes casted for the PDP will be declared invalid by the court

With the exception of Oyo State, the other states under G5 Governors are likely to be won by Peter Obi due to obvious reasons. So it won't be surprise if they endorse Peter Obi to go with the flow. But their decision may not have any earth-shaking effect. Nigerians are not zombies.

Whatever happens, it will be interesting to follow Nyesom Wike 'matters' post 2023 elections. It might be a little movie-like. cool

Generally speaking, Peter Obi has a large percentage enlightened young Nigerians as his support-base across Nigeria. However, my fear is the rural communities across Nigeria given that there will be both Senatorial and HoR elections on the same day as Presidential Election Day. PDP and APC have most of these Senate and HoR candidates who are popular and well-entrenched politicians in their constituencies. They are already known to the rural communities. They have established foot soldiers. And more often than not, they are communal benefactors or of some sorts. They will campaign vigorously for their parties’ logos, making it difficult for illiterate voters who will be given three ballot papers to sort out and vote for LP’s Presidential candidate after voting other party's candidates. Unfortunately, Peter Obi is not helping matters as he is not supporting LP candidates across Nigeria. They are on their own with insufficient resources to match the other parties.

Lastly, Tinubu’s campaign slogans are top of the range. You would have serious rheumatism not to dance to his Christmas themed song. Just saying! grin

Forget these people with their terminal delusional mentality, they are only interested in the presidency ignoring the senate and HoR, I wonder how a president can rule Nigeria with out having these two arms of government to back him up

Politics / Re: 2023: Thisday Is Wrong; Northwest Not Battleground. by samunaka: 9:45pm On Dec 25, 2022
Penguin2:
I just read the Thisday appraisal of the 2023 elections and their claim that Northwest is the battleground or would determine who becomes president and couldn’t help but shake my head at their clear mischief.

But I know what they are doing… they are trying to water down the effect of recent ANAP poll which projected an Obi victory as against the candidate of the owner Thisday/AriseTV Media Group which is Atiku Abubakar.

However, it is so appalling that a media platform like Thisday will deploy its platform to sell a clearly skewed narrative with no iota of reflection on the reality on ground.

For a better understanding of the reality of the 2023 elections, let’s do a very quick and brief appraisal of the different geopolitical zones in the country and how they are likely to vote to better understand why Northwest is not the battleground that Thisday claimed.

ANAP polls and other reputable polls, and reality on ground, has shown that Peter Obi is poised to sweep Southeast and Southsouth.

Now, because of Christian sentiments and the continued massacre of the people Middle Belt, these people are now understandably leaning towards an Obi candidacy which is why analysts have rightly predicted Obi to win the North Central.

Then add the votes Obi is clearly going to get from other Christian areas like Taraba, Adamawa, southern Bauchi, southern Borno and Southern Gombe in the Northeast; and southern Kaduna and southern Kebbi in the Northwest, with the votes he’s likely to get from all the states in Southwest, and you see clearly why Obi is poised to win the upcoming election at first ballot except you want to lie to yourself.

Because the truth is that whether by Obi’s making or by chance, 99% of Christians in Nigeria has taken the upcoming election very personal and are now sentimental about it.

Now, this is clearly in contrast to Tinubu who as of today is realistically only sure of votes from Southwest states and maybe Borno and Yobe in the Northeast, and Zamfara and Kaduna like Thisday rightly said.

Then there’s an Atiku who has realistically been restricted to some states in Northeast and some states in Northwest while he’s hoping to get some fraction of votes from some Southsouth states which is even looking bleak for him, because nobody talks about Atiku down South.

Kwankwaso is a Kano candidate so talking about him is an unnecessary waste of time.

So, with these things I’ve said here which are very practical and factual, tell me how the election is too close to call.

So, my conclusion is that Thisday is just being mischievous and running away from obvious truth and reality that is staring at them, like most Nigerians who are still stuck in the old ways of doing things but sooner or later, they will all come around and accept reality.

So in your own thinking 99% of Christians will vote for Peter Obi and 99% Muslims will not vote for Atiku, or better still as you have said the south east and south south is on lock down for Obi and we up North will not lockdown North East and North West for Atiku, February is very close my brother as you people have always been saying there will be suprisses in this election, a real surprise awaits you,
Politics / Re: North West Zone Will Determine Who Becomes The President- Thisday by samunaka: 9:24pm On Dec 25, 2022
MrEverest:
Very poor analysis lacking in depth and logic. Jonathan won the 2011 presidential election despite performing woefully in NW against only one major contestant. But in 2023, at least, 3 candidates are battling to split NW votes evenly among themselves.

Peter Obi winning SE and SS is more than enough to offset NW. If he now wins NC and gets above 25% in SW then he will be clearly ahead of the rest.

No contestant can possibly win more than 40% of NW, which means the zone can't determine the outcome of the election.

As it stands now, based on the fact that we have 4 major candidates, no zone can determine the outcome. If any zone has such power then it has to be SS. Now consider this, what Peter Obi gets from SE is most likely going to be higher than what Tinubu will get from SW. Also, Obi is likely to get far more votes from SW than Tinubu will hope to get from SE.

If Atiku is able to pull off at least 35% of NW votes which is very possible and Kwankwaso gets same figure, it means that Tinubu won't get more than 25% in NW.

Peter Obi is most likely the next president, everything being equal.

What makes you believe that Peter Obi will get a block vote in the south south
