safarigirl:It is somehow strange when you exhibit Pan-Africanism one moment and the next you go totally contrary to what you claim you represent. Melanine, though symbolises the deep dark African skin and pride, but then again, how nudity comes in becomes a wonder. Perhaps Clarence didn't understand the meaning of the word, perhaps the so-called singer didn't as well. The truth is that Clarence missed this one. It would have made a whole lot of sense to have those ladies clad and modest, which would have reflected the one-time African dignity we held in high esteem rather than set them beside a sea shore like slaves that had been bought. Videos like this one would make you question your own intellect at some point. 'Melanine' is our pride, and it is not associated with nudity in any way. Clarence goofed. |
Madrid oooo ![]() Barcelona is lost in this game! |
Ronaldo! |
Madrid has enjoyed much of the ball since the match started. It might be difficult for Barcelona to get a good result out of this half with the way they are playing! |
Ronaldo's goal disallowed! |
Madrid keeps piling pressure on Barcelona in their half. |
Draei:True. One crucial ability to beating Barcelona is speed. Isco us no doubt a good footballer but he would slow down the pace of the game if given the chance. I don't doubt Bale's ability one bit. He would play well today I just pray we secure all three points against Barcelona in this encounter. Lalasticlala, kindly do the needful. It's almost 1pm. |
Draei:I prefer this lineup to the one with Isco in it. Kovacic is quicker and he did excellently well in taming Messi in the Super Copa. Asensio, Isco and Vazquez coming on in the second half is fair enough. |
Mosesoly:Fair points. Barcelona's hope of a win or draw would be decided by how quick they get goals in the first half. As it stands, Barce does not have substitutes for the forwards. It would be an exciting encounter as always. |
Kovacic is starting! Messi would need to do a whole lot to keep him off. I hope our coach, Rohr would be watching this match? This is a battle of Croatians. Interestingly, all three players on the field are midfielders and destructive. |

miremoses:Atleti is the definition of useless. I think the excessive defensive consciousness of the team is costing the club a whole lot. It's a shame that Atleti can go on playing a game and their goal ratio per match doesn't even hit 1.5 and surprisingly, the team and the coach seems okay with it. They have a weird way of scoring late goals to seal just a goal victory. Sadly, that didn't work out for them as Espanol beat them to their own trick. |
BEST OPTA MATCH FACTS This will be the 237th El Clasico in all competitions between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Los Blancos have won 95 and the Blaugrana 92, while there have been 49 draws. Real Madrid, on 399, can become the first to reach 400 goals in the fixture. Barca currently have 384. Zinedine Zidane's side won the last two Clasico clashes, both in the 2017 Spanish Supercopa (3-1 at Camp Nou and 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu). The last time Real Madrid won three consecutive matches against Barcelona in all competitions came back in 1978. Barcelona have the chance to win three consecutive La Liga matches against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu for the first time in the club's history. Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 17 goals against Barcelona in all competitions since he joined Real Madrid and could equal Alfredo Di Stefano as the all-time top Real Madrid scorer in El Clasico history (18). Lionel Messi is the all-time top scorer in El Clasico history in all competitions (24 goals), the all-time La Liga top scorer in El Clasico history (16) and the all-time top scorer in El Clasico history at the Bernabeu (14). |
Given the current injury problems rocking the Barcelona team, particularly that of Umtiti, Ronaldo and co might just end up having a field day at the Bernabeu, save if Vermaelen becomes sharp all of a sudden. |
Barcelona projected line up ter Stergen Sergi Roberto Pique Vermaelen Jordi Alba Ivan Rakitic Sergio Busquet Paulinho Iniesta Messi Suarez Injury and Suspension Barcelona remain without long-term absentees Ousmane Dembele and Samuel Umtiti. Thomas Vermaelen could start at centre-back again, while Javier Mascherano is another option, though he has barely played this season. Paco Alcacer and Gerard Deulofeu also remain absent. |
Real Madrid's projected line up Keylor Navas Dani Carvajal Raphael Varane Sergio Ramos (c) Marcelo Casemiro Luka Modric Toni Kroos Isco Ronaldo Benzema The Whites currently boast a fully fit squad and Zidane would sure have lots of options in choosing his substitutes as Kovacic, Bale, Vazquez, Asensio and Ceballos remain available for the team. |
https://business.panasonic.co.uk/professional-camera/sites/default/nfsfiles/professional-camera-2014/news_files/Panasonic%20Mediapro%20%20el%20classico%20dashboard.JPG Special Cameras for Ronaldo, Messi Saturday’s encounter between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona, the first Clasico of the 2017/18 campaign produced by Mediapro, will feature the use of technology befitting what is considered to be the greatest fixture in world football. The game’s biggest two clubs go head-to-head at the Santiago Bernabeu in a contest that will be beamed live to followers in 182 countries. The millions of television viewers will be made to feel as if they were at the game themselves thanks to the ground-breaking technology in place for the eagerly anticipated showdown. To ensure that fans don’t miss out on any of the action, the fixture’s leading lights, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, will both be tracked by dedicated player cameras throughout the 90 minutes. Two cameras will get up-close and personal with the Portuguese striker and the Argentine forward, allowing supporters to feast their eyes on every last move made by the global stars. The same applies to the two men in the dugouts, with a pair of cameras set to be trained on Zinedine Zidane and Ernesto Valverde right from the first whistle. In an effort to make television viewers feel as if they were lapping up the action from a seat in the stands, the Bernabeu is also to be equipped with a virtual Be The Player camera, which features Intel’s 360° technology and represents a first for a LaLiga broadcast. This camera captures events from the player’s perspective, offering spectators the same view of the match as their heroes. Another new feature which is set to be rolled out is the Laser Wall, a virtual wall that provides viewers with a clearer picture in relation to whether players are located in offside positions. For the first time in La Liga history, El Clasico will be produced in its entirety in 4K-HDR resolution. In addition, the coverage will break new ground with the 30 cameras to be deployed representing a global record for a 4K broadcast. By way of contrast, in the 2017 UEFA Champions League final in Cardiff, 10 real-time 4K cameras were used, with the remainder being HD to 4K upgrades sourced from the HD broadcast. |

This is just about the craziest irony ever to be seen in the world! A people so proud, yet highly suffering from persecution and inferiority complex! How come the 'Federal Character' is not reflecting in Innoson Peace Mass Transit God is Good Motors And a host of other Igbo owned companies? These organisations are private entities and save do not concern themselves with observing the 'Federal Character' law. It makes no sense because you won't dictate how a man would run his affairs. This inferiority complex should be tamed because it is highly disturbing! |
iamJ:When you show deep empathy toward others, their defensive energy goes down, and positive energy replaces it. That's when you can get more creative in solving problems. It's no wonder your life is jagged. |
olihilistic:The emboldened is wrong. Christmas correlates with the birth of Christ but the date (the 25th) was not the day Christ was born. |
globemoney:Team lead does not mean 'owner' or CEO. |

anonimi:Quit the whining, please. Sadly, you sounded as these guys who claim they own 85% of Lagos. There is no tribal hatred or jealousy as you claimed. I'm really trying to figure out those parts. Why would anyone be jealous of Innoson's achievement/dilemma? You wonder why a 1.5 litre engine vehicle supposedly 'manufactured' by Innoson cost about 4 million Naira and you'd hear stories such as 'the vehicle parts are imported into the country and he must make his own profit as well.' I have no issue with the narrative above but the fact remains what it is. That I am stunned is greatly exaggerated because we all know you have long been restricted to tribalistic and anti-APC banters, even when it's needless. |
AheadMarket:The FBI tilts towards security, policing and investigation on a federal level while the EFCC as an agency concerns itself with financial crimes which is alleged to have taken place in the case of Innoson. How are they the same? |
anonimi:We need not attach every single mishap to politics and ethnicity. Though that part of the piece seems harsh but then again, it is just the truth. Innoson does not manufacture vehicles, he assembles them and brands them. Premium Times had already reported the forgery part which the bank found out. It is NL only normal that the EFCC was involved after that. Innoson and his wife played the tribal game almost perfectly and the likes of Ike Ekweremadu and Abaribe found every reason to lace the 'attack' as one affiliated to tribe. I believe this would serve as an eye opener to banks. Most of these so called business men really have nothing and would not blink twice to make a show should an advantage rear its head. |
The truth about Innoson's ordeal is yet to be brought to the fore. The bank is yet to make a statement and I think it is quite silly to take sides in the name of ethnicity, religion, political party or whatever. That said, the writer failed to describe what followed Burna Boy's 'transfer discussion'. He was locked up and put where in the same cell with common criminals. We were not there when Innoson entered into an agreement with GTB and I know the bank cannot be daft to invade the home of a man who has beaten them twice in different courts. This is a case of a rich man vs one of Nigerian's banks. It becomes a tribal slur when kasala bursts. Sadly, majority of those who would close the GTB account they never had have never patronised or benefited from Innoson. |

Most people know this one-time phenom by her popular, full name, Munachi Abii, the former beauty queen who once represented Nigeria in the 2007 edition hosted in China. Rap lovers would recall Muna, the frenzied rapper who showed crazy attitude by lacing her lines with words strong enough to make people believe that Eva Alordiah had met her match. She showed so much promise that many thought she had indeed come to stay but this was never to be. Muna's emergency wasn't sudden, contrary to people's belief. The Port Harcourt born was a member of Specimen A and believed to be a 'guest artiste' with the Ijaw Boyz rap group in Port Harcourt before choosing to tow a lone, solo career path. Having collaborated with Terry Da Rapman, and being a song writer, particularly for J Martins and Waje, Muna's statement was clear; a former beauty queen and a song writer merged into one body to birth a rap star. For those who recall Banky W's 'Lagos Party' remix... (click here to download), yeah, the lady who showed so much strength in that song is Muna. So good was she that 'Youtubers' argued she was the best therein. Well, I still disturb everyone in the office till date over 'Lagos party' remix. Who doesn't fancy a good collaboration? How can we forget 'Shake it down Low', Psquare's final track in 'The Invasion' 2012 album, Muna and Eva ended the album with their energetic mix. Other than Weird MC, it has been hard seeing a lady match the strength of the energetic twin. Interestingly, Muna did without much sweat, bringing 'The Invasion' to a 'hippy' end. Munachi Abii, the former MBGN, is still very much around but the where about of Muna remain unknown after her singles, 'Here To Stay and Down Down Low' were released in 2012. Five years on and people like me are still trapped with questions such as; 'what happened?', 'what went wrong?', 'where is Muna?' https://www.afrobios.com/uploads/6a4e782debfc5f467ec9157f0690cea8-muna.jpg |

NwaAmaikpe:There is no atom of sense in this. Banks fall into the 'Service Sector' category, which means they would need the best/qualified folks to do survive, knowing how impatient and agitated their customers become in a flash. The every choral frenzy of North North North does not apply here because a Yoruba man owns the bank. The bank truly put up the ads. Perhaps they have logistics issues on their hands, perhaps they are not yet ready, excuses which might end up tarnishing the reputation of the bank. |
TarOrfeek:And the likes of you would join other non-right thinking folks to bash female marketers that they are cheap sluts. Common sense is a luxury after all. |
