Sense has left you. We are talking Indians here. We all know how corrupt our judiciary is. Should the EFCC and DSS flout court orders over Indians or the Chinese in this country, heaven knows it would be a huge joy to me. Nigerians have suffered worse in their hands than they have in ours.

There are several male folks who would rather channel their frustration and air their views elsewhere than address the issue at hand. I am one and I could remember complaining of something related to this.

Truth is, there are horrible co-tenants and it takes special grace to remain sane while you try to keep your cool. Confrontation don't work for some no matter how hard you try.

On the issue of heavyweight politicians, one thing our brothers from the east also need to remmember is this, the SE is fragmented which does not help their cause. They have 5 states and they are controlled by 3 different parties, as such there is no political heavyweight in the SE, their votes are fragmented and therefore inconsequential. Believe it or not SS is in a better position in terms of political relevance that the SE.
The emboldened is an open secret. The funniest part is that APC would remain in power longer and rather than align themselves for the Presidency after Buhari's term, they are already busy reminding Ojukwu jnr. how his father disowned him just because he joined the APC.

The problem of the East is not my worry, not in the least of ways. They started the alignment game when Azikiwe was desperate to trouble the South, sadly, they suck at it now and have been relegated to the background.

Ahead of 2019, you would see that there would be calls about how a Wawa/Osu Igbo is unfit to rule true born Anambra Igbos. We'll all be here, if Christ tarries.

Are there no Christian politicians in the North that Tinubu may team up with?

The point is for Tinubu to declare his interest and test his popularity!
Please mention ONE heavyweight Christian politician in the North. Just one.

Your analysis though hollow was taking form until you brought in the jagaban angle.

Is Tinubu the life wire of SW politics? Yes!!!!

But he is for sale to the highest bidder. Make him an offer he cannot refuse...

Atikulate fast and forget about Tinubu.

Tinubu is one politician I know that loves to lead from aso rock but lacks the courage to officially declare it because of his baggage..
How you guys think beat my imagination.

Tinubu might be interested in Aso Rock but you should know that a Muslim/Muslim ticket is dead on arrival just as a Christian/Christian ticket.

There is no bid Atiku would bring to the fore that would excite Tinubu whose influence ushered in Buhari.

So Ibb is the new kingmaker and no more Obj?

And you really believe even if Ibb advised Atiku against his ambition, that would now cause Atiku to betray his emotions in public?? Atiku is nowhere near the intolerant sadist in aso rock who has won a medal as the most bitter and vindictive Nigeria president ever liveth!!
You don't seem to understand the power play here, Atiku needed IBB to probably water down the anger of OBJ by getting a nod from him. Had IBB supported Atiku, it then would have meant that the show of supremacy would have been between IBB and OBJ.

Unfortunately from Atiku, IBB kicks against his ambition from Niger while OBJ is waiting for him in Ogun, coupled with the Jagaban effect in the South West.

How can heaven fall??

Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram (all northern creations) have killed over 30,000 Nigerians and heaven did not fall!!
Buhary lost election and innocent corpers and other innocent civilians were murdered in cold blood and heaven did not fall!!

Over a thousand Shiite murdered and buried in shallow graves on the orders and Buhary, heaven did not fall!!
Over 3,000 Biafran agitators murdered in cold blood by buhary and heaven did not fall!!
MKO and his wife and other innocent Yoruba freedom fighters murdered in cold blood by the northern opportunists and heavens did not fall!

Why would heaven fall because of Ndigbo's presidential ambition?? Is that not why they want their own country where they can be free to pursue their own good and grow maximally?

Heaven would have only fallen if the Vegetable in Aso rock hadn't made it back from London!

The rest of the country would have gone up in flames by the Hausa Fulani blood thirsty terrorists!
I share your thoughts and I totally agree with you that the North and Buhari have been nothing but sheer calamities.

However, permit me to ask, what is presently preventing the South East from 'growing maximally' right now owing to the fact that your five Eastern governors collect just about free oil money like the rest of the North while they contribute paltry sums to the national purse?

If the East cannot grow maximally now as postulated by you and you have some of the worst governors in Nigeria who erect statues at will, how then would having your own country change when these same set of people would still end up ruling over you?

I see the wailing of Igbos wanting Biafra becoming louder come 2019. You must understand that working to achieve what is due you is more integral to your survival than the cheap emotional blackmail of dreaming of an Utopia.
Politics › Re: 2019 Presidency: Ohanaeze Gives Conditions For Igbo Support by Sanchez01(m): 6:27am On Dec 08, 2017
Ohaneze is one of the major reasons why the Igbo race has been relegated and hold no water in Nigeria's political space.

How can you list out conditions similar to threats just because you want to throw your weight around a candidate? The interesting part is that the Ohaneze does not even command respect in its domain. It does not have the power to sway its people because it is not regarded.

The saddest part of this whole drama would be that the South West might just end up producing the next President after Buhari's second term because the way the South East has been sitting with her legs folded, thinking the whole of Nigeria would come together and throw power on their laps and also vote massively for them just like that.

Issuing ultimata, giving conditions and regarding others in a condescending manner are all signs of lack of tact and diplomacy. Power is for the taking. You want it, you work hard and fake it till you get it.

The odds are in messi's favor due to barca's performance this season. Though the season is still young if barca ends up winning the league and coupled with messi's effort at single handledly handing Argentina the world cup ticket, he might end up winning it if Argentina does well in the world cup
I'm sorry, bro but the problem with most Barcelona fans is that they don't understand football or how it works.

The qualification match that Messi allegedly played on his own against an eleven man team to hand Argentina a ticket to the world cup was played while voting of today's Ballon d'or was done. In other words, it won't count as part of next year's ballon d'or performance.

Besides, the decider of the next Ballon d'or would be the World Cup and not necessarily the Champions League, even though FIFA and the French Ballon d'Or body have gone their separate ways.

Messi and Ronaldo would need to do more than win the Champions League to land it this time and this might just introduce another winner beyond the both of them.

The Champions League and Club League won't count much. Don't forget that Madrid still has the club World Cup to play.

For those of you that are still reading posts here, lemme kindly warn you.

You see those barca frogs they are prepared to wake up tomorrow morning confuse themselves in other to try and convince that Ronaldo didn't deserve the award.

That's to say if they even sleep self, some might need pain killers and sleeping tablets.

Don't be shocked when you see something like Madrid use money to win Ronaldo the d'or shocked (I know it doesn't make sense, it's like they are sane to begin with). Or something like Messi was scoring goals with his right foot, don't worry next year undecided (like I said they will confuse you).

Messi did 5 before him so no big deal. They are currently tied and messi is younger than Ronaldo. So messi might probably end up with the highest balloon diors in subsequent awards
True, Messi did with a huge gap, now they're are equal.

Just imagine how hard Ronaldo would push himself this season to probably win his last.

A league title in Spain, retaining the Champions League and a whole host of goals and records—including one just last night as he became the first player to score in all six UCL group stage games. Another tremendous year for CR7.
