As a keen watcher of events beyond the now, the signs are ominous, their will be a re run and Wike will lose. Apart from the party Exco how many top PDP men ve been open in stating their support for Wike. If you know Nigerian politics you will discover that to our elites what matter is their interest, the initial massive support to Wike was because of Gej which they saw through after after Gej lost. Most of these elites are contractors to Federal Agencies like NDDC, NIMASSA and others, you need to be on the Federal good books to keep those contract running. It is only the poor that fight for these politicians to death, i am sure that if you are the contractor currently handling the equipping of all heath centres in Nigeria courtesy Gej you won't want that contract to stop under PMB Govt. Why are people like Clerk singing a different tune. So my friend you like it or not Ameachi is currently the Bridge to Abuja for most of these big politicians. Its simple when the stage is set you will find them coming out to support Dakuku and there is nothing your likes can do . These top contractors will bankroll Dakuku's election. They will turn the mind of your like to support the ruling party. These guys need these Federal contracts to keep lording it over you, they are bigger than state funds. Keep deceiving yourself

Go check your facts, ruling on the Senate/Rep was based on pre election matter, APC have gone on appeal. Ruling on Governor was based on card reader and the credibility of APC witnesses, a situation where Wike and Inec witnesses all failed on cross examination and suddenly developed eye problem when confronted with documents speaks volume. PDp defence fell like a pack of cards and will continue to, go Google and read the ruling so you can be better informed.

As expected the court has ordered for fresh elections. As an ardent follower of south south politics, I can boldly tell you that PDP is firmly rooted in that region, and somehow most of the grassroot people of Rivers tend to see Wike as more of their person than Amaechi. In my opinion, Wike would be re-elected, though with a small margin this time. Dakuku would get most of the Riverine vote, while Wike would get most of the upland (ikwerre) vote, and he's also get some riverine votes. Dakuku has won where he can win ( the tribunal) except APC and Amaechi rig the election, Wike would be re elected.

Apc won't use federal might, that is not what we are advocating. The ruling has gone ahead to prove that impunity never pays and should not be rewarded. Wike may still win but then it must be in a free contest, one man one vote and if at the end Dasuki wins, i am sure he will congratulate Wike.

Metuh is messing up and should be removed, i desire a strong opposition but right now to must people the PDP is now the official mouth piece of corrupt people. To get it right the Pdp should bring in credible characters to help her get back the people. Make Mike Ahamba the spokesman and Ribadu the party chair, the credibility of figures alone will make people get to atleast listen to what Pdp is saying, right now most people don't even listen to Metuh, listening comes from the mind and perception. I ve no links to the party or these persons. Oliseh Metuh and Secondus just reminds people of the past.

The sentiment ve started building if we recall the Eze ndi igbo saga in Akure, that is how it starts, right now the North and West are of the feeling that Gej govt, was corrupt and they see igbo defence of that Govt as supporting evil, that sentiment is building hate, recall that SW condemmed their own during OBJ, so the way SW see politics is far different from SE and SS. SS apart from Pdp elements in Rivers ve started embrasssing PMB, the election is over igbos should let go, just my opinion

It is because the refineries are now working. Buhari said he is not taking credit for it because the previous administration made it work. GEJ made it work and he would have used to launch his second tenure with price further down. This administration is following through on GEJ's blue Print. Remember when GEJ reduced pump price by N10 they said it was because of election but it continued till he left office. His blue print indicated the pump price would be coming down by N10 progression. He brought it down by the first N10 now a second N10 comes it goes on till 2018 depending on world market price of crude coupled with our now functional refineries. If really PMB brought it down to N74 it means he reduced it by N15 instead of the blueprint N10. Going by the price reduction of crude in the world market, we are in order by this reduction. I'll say Kudos to PMB because he believes in continuity from the past administration. That is good governance.

Warped analogy, thank God the ordinary folks don't go through Nairaland, if true that the price ve reduced nothing you say will prevent the ordinary man from shouting 'long live pmb' in the three major languages.

Ameachi cannot leave Rivers for Wike, if you don't know innocent people lost their life in that election. Ordinary then Wike could ve won but must he get brutal about it. With or without Rivers Senators Ameachi in line with the constitution is qualified to be a minister, the constitutional provision supersedes any senate standing rule or senators endorsement.
