For a start, you did a good job with your gigs. Just few mistakes spotted.
As a writer, you need to work a bit on your preposition e.g. "targeted at", not " targeted to". There are few other ones you need to change too.
Your proofreading gig has not been proofread because "test" appears where "text" should have appeared. You should work on your punctuation marks and reduce the length of your sentences, when it's possible, as it will help you avoid certain mistakes.
You profile says "quick delivery", but your delivery time is 4 days for 500 words.. That's a bit of disparity. For a newbie, your delivery time should 1 day for 500 words.
Just do few changes and you're good to go.

It will be difficult to make it on Fiverr as a Nigerian writer and proofreader because English is not your first language and buyers will likely favor others over you. However, it is not impossible.
I suggest you stick to being virtual assistant, though you can subtly add writing and proofreading gigs to what you're capable of doing. There are lots of money to be made from virtual assistance if you really know your onions.

Your profile looks nice and convincing. You're almost on level 2, so buyers should have no problem ordering your gig.
Just change your tags, play around with your title and add video (you can order whiteboard animation on Fiverr for just $5).
You should stay online regularly and make buyer's request your second home. Let your bids be customized to fit each request.
I'm sure orders will come in since you already have a nice looking profile/ratings.

You need to hone your skills, so that you can offer more writing gigs.
Some general ideas apart from common article writing are:
* Rewriting
* press release
* proofreading
* eBook writing/rewriting
* assignments (depending on ur skill/education).
* autoresponder emails writing
* product/service reviews
* business taglines/slogan (you've to be creative to offer this)
and so on.
However, don't create gig for another niche (such as graphics or animation) under writing niche, you'll look unprofessional.

For a start, it should be proofreader, not "proof reader". For a writer, you're not using the punctuation marks as you ought to.
Your gig description is too short, it doesn't say much about what you're capable of doing for your potential buyers.
Why would you set up only one gig? Set up separate gigs for proofreading, rewriting, article writing, blog post writing and review writing.

I can relate with the challenging part. In my first 1½ months, I did over $600 working constantly. But that came with a price - some little back pain.

As writers we've to brainstorm, come up with ideas, do researches before putting them down into words.

Here's a trick I now use:

I have been able to find templates for different kinds of email marketing jobs.

So whenever someone asks me to write an email or any sales copy, all I do is revert back to one of the templates I've that bears a striking detail with the new job, and that saves me a lot of time and effort.

Maybe you should consider doing something like that too, bro.

I work on Fiverr, so advertising and getting clients are basically done by Fiverr as long as I put my profile in place. I am already a level two seller, so things are a bit easy for me.
I write, rewrite and proofread blog posts, articles, ebooks and reviews.
You must have heard of all these before. Nothing new, it's all about the effort you put into making them work.

You've given me the link before and I've downloaded it.
