Meedon: A man was stabbed to death this morning by his own brother in-law in my neighborhood. Why did he stab the man? You may ask. The wife is the cause of the man's death. The husband (the deceased) went out to work as usual, to feed his family only to return in the evening to find another man banging (having sex) with his beloved wife, right on their matrimonial bed. He became angry and a fight started, after some hot argument. He couldn't bear the torment so he sent the wife away.
So after sometimes (which is today), the family decided to settle the couples, they sent for the husband, which he came immediately. As the settlement was going on, an argument started again and his brother inlaw (brother of his wife brought out a knife and stabbed the man. Everyone deserted the area, while the battled for his life in his own pool of blood.
Men, if you must marry, try and make findings, investigate and get to know about the background of the family you want to marry from.
Now, a soul is gone because of puzzy.

helen4: Good afternoon Nlanders. Please I need help. This is my story. In April I hit a credit score of #200k with Fmoney but I didn't take it. My friend came to me that she needed money urgently. I told her I don't have personal money at the moment, that I mostly use loan app for quick cash. She tried but what she was offered was below what she needed. She pleaded that I should get the money for her that she'll pay, which I did after much pleading. I got 150k for her from Fmoney and she was supposed to pay back for 6 months. 150k (loan) + 84 k ( interest) .Each month's deduction is 39000 and some change. Last month she sent 30000 ( which I paid immediately), promising me to send the 9k balance which she didn't send and 2 days late payment was accumulated. I ended up paying 11000 and some coins. June has been due for 15 days now and nothing. She called on the due date for June that she has forwarded the money to my account which I didn't receive. Later she said the fault was from her bank, that she went there and they'll reverse after 14days. Right now I have June overdue and still have 4 months more to go. I've sent series of mails to Fmoney customer agents to reschedule payment but no way out. To at least lessen the money to what I can comfortably pay but nothing. I am fed up. I wake up everyday to the thought of the loan on my conscience. I can't pay the normal amount from my pocket because I got this big loan from organization's cooperative that's taking 70% of my salary. Please help me in whatever form it maybe. I need help. I don't have relatives I can reach out to. I am fed up and really need my free mind back. Truly their interest is ridiculously high but it has saved me from financial stress alot. Please help me!!!!! I'll post the current message for June overdue. I understand your situation and the pain you're going through but I don't think you should bear it alone. You need to put a lot of pressure on your friend to come up with the money, call her every 1 hour if need be but she must come up with the money! |

ibinaboonline: Hi Nairalanders, So, I'm in the process of opening a corporate bank account with a certain Nigerian bank using the certificate of business registration of my late father's old company. I have finished filling the forms and the bank staff said I have to provide a TIN as well. I'm fortunate to even have the original copy of the business registration certificate so I don't remember or have the company TIN. The bank staff assured me she could procure the TIN for me if I give her 2k. I did. I also gave her cash as opening balance but she said she will submit the account opening form as soon as the TIN is out. That was last week Thursday. Today, she just informed me that those registering the TIN are demanding 10k because the company I submitted is old. Precisely, my father's company was registered in 1975. Is someone trying to screw me? Can the fact that the company is old make TIN registration difficult? Please someone with experience should advice me. These days when you register a new company they automatically generate a TIN for you therefore the fact that thos company is old could present some challenges By the way I hope you have considered some potential challenges that you may encounter if you decide to use your father's business viz - You will need to provide a copy of the memo and articles of Association of the company and a copy of the Form CO7 which must show that you are a director in the company. - If your father entered any contracts with this business name which has some contingency liabilities they may crystallise and become a liability for you. - If the business has some outstanding debts or loans they automatically become yours |

let me give you the gist. Stanley was my room mate back then in Abuja. he is a christain but would run into all these big men mosque to be converted to Islam every week.
Every week he is either converting from Islam to christainity or vice versa. He even made it a business. All those big mosque in Abuja he has visited all of them. they would give him gift and cash. he even visited the central mosque to be converted and they gave him a car, clothes, Koran and gifts.
One day he ran out of luck. he wanted to convert to Islam inside one mosque at Abuja. they told him that they would take him to their grand mufti or something at another mosque.
On the way to see the mufti, he discovered that he has already converted before inside that mosque before and he tried to excape, they went after him and brought him before the mufti who recognized him instantly and they dished out some good beating to him. they took back everything they have ever given to him.
he was hospitalized for a week at my expenses. I just said I should share this experience, I tear up with laughter when I remember that guy, the guy is a real Hussler . I envy him.
Do you have this type of friends who love risk more than life. share the experience. Your friend is a crook, plain and simple! |

Business › Re: When Paying A Debt Goes Wrong-How A Customer Incurred Extra N6m Debt. by SavageResponse(m): 10:23am On Jun 15, 2021 |
litigator: Let me say this for the umpteenth time. If you are capable of making a business decision, I strongly advise you to have a lawyer as a friend or get a lawyer on a payroll if you can afford it. Why do I care? Wo! It’s not like people will listen self, so what is my own?
Most Nigerians believe they only need the services of a lawyer when they are in serious trouble. How about avoiding trouble in the first place?
Is prevention not better than cure?
That was how this bank customer chopulated igbese with an extra 6million naira debt. Imagine how he almost got away with a 6million naira shortfall that was lying carelessly on the table, only for him to undo himself with his own hands.
Just negudu!
Last week, I decided I will dedicate time to read at least one case every day from the law report. And that was how I stumbled on this interesting case of how a bank customer almost got away with a 6m debt waiver.
His only undoing was that he decided not to seek good and prompt legal advice when he needed it the most.
The lawyers were required to recover the sum of N16 million the customer owed the bank. But for some reasons I can't comprehend, the bank decided to claim 10million only, leaving a shortfall of 6million naira on the table.
The customer didn’t show up during court proceedings. So judgment in default of appearance was delivered in favour of the bank. The customer eventually reached out to the lawyers in the course of enforcing the court judgment requesting to meet with them.
His payment of the judgment debt was supposed to put an end to the case. However, the customer orally agreed to pay the shortfall of 6m during one of such meeting due to reasons best known to him.
Maybe the customer was ignorant of the implication of such oral agreement and whether or not his statement amounts to what is known in law as 'novation of contract'.
The customer subsequently got a debt demand notice, demanding payment of the shortfall, two months after he made the oral agreement to pay the debt.
What shocked me most, like Bubu, was the fact that the customer didn't deny making the oral agreement to pay the shortfall. He simply contended that since he has paid the judgement debt, the bank was barred from making any demand regarding the debt.
The bank subsequently sued for the shortfall, but what was the decision of the court?
Did the customer unknowingly and unintentionally buy igbese?
If you were in his shoes, will you pay? I'm still not sure what message you're trying to pass across |
