cpsowelle:
Enugu-onitsha expressway was blocked by heavy duty vehicles after touts recruited by the Gov Obiano Government of Anambra State incidentally killed a trailer driver whom refused to comply after demanding illegally huge sum of monies from him.

Anambra citizens has been living in fear since the Obiano led administration employed notorious touts in the collection of revenue. It has gotten worse the every individual carrying even a hand bag is being levied almost in every pole in main cities of Anambra. People were being abused that pupil of primary and secondary school in boarding school are being taxed while carrying their boxes on their bodies back to school. Old men and women are being punched and beaten at any slightest opportunity. Serious insecurity due to Increase in robbery and pick pocket activities in all cities of Anambra. God will help us till the next administration.
What is this purpose of this post? Is it to tell us the reason for the altercation that led to the death of the driver or is it to attack the governor of the state?

I have come to a conclusion that borrowing people money without any agreement is bad.
I have borrowed friends money but they will end up telling me stories and guess what ? you will not do them anything! .

If you fight them, your money won't come out and they might even call police for you which at the end you will be at loss.
Whenever money issue is involved in friendship, be careful because it brings out the true characters.

If they want 20k collect their 50k laptop as collateral to avoid stories.

The same people will borrow money from LAPO and they will try their Best to pay it to avoid troubles, but if the borrow from you they will be bold enough to tell stories

Borrowing money is a dangerous thing, if you have the money give but don't borrow without agreements and collateral.

Please share your experience(s)

This topic to be broken down to pieces is a full stack course ranging from 500k and above oh.
Why don't we like 3 to 10 guys team up on a project just like how Jack Ma and Jeff Bezos did for their startups in the 1990s. We float a Nigerian based coy, register a US based Corporation that has the value of $10 Million we can sell out like 10% and use it to fund our idea
If anyone is interested chat me up 08089456258
If you ever decide to team up with people to raise funds for a project make sure you do so with people who you know well especially with regards to ethics and their temperament when handling other people's money.

It is also of utmost importance to be sure that each team member is bringing something of value (Eg special skills, knowledge or experience) to the table and will not just be a deadwood who contributes nothing but wants to just share money!

The only thing you should endeavour to be in charge is the brain of your wife ... Every other thing she must be in charge

You are the Chairman of the Family .. You are in Charge of Strategies and Helping in Operations where necessary...

She is the CEO/Managing Director ..... She is in Charge of Operations of the Family especially Financial Management

Both of you must work together not apart ..

The day Chairman and CEO of a company have issues with each other ... That company will start having issues and all stakeholders will be affected even Generator in your house and the spoons!
This is only applicable if your wife is frugal and responsible with money.

If you have a show-off wife that likes to live above her income and you give her access to your finances na sorry be your name!

I got this URL https://paystack.com/pay/mt4qcifnjb from a friend suggesting a certain weekly 5k subscription that will be used for gold mining and part of the return ( i.e. profit ) will be sent to my account after subscription.

What is your take on this? Is it legit? Has anyone in this forum tried it before? I want to get your reviews and share them with her, please.

Thanks
Where are they going to mine the gold from?

I doubt if they're even related to the Paystack fintech we know

LTCMiner (LTCMiner.com) is a platform that claims to offer cloud mining services to users. Although the website has existed for years, there are some red flags to take note of.

No one likes to lose money, so I’ve been hard at work analyzing websites that claim to offer investment-related services.

While LTCMiner has been around for a long time, they may have been ripping off monies from their unsuspecting victims all along.

If you have come across this platform and you're considering joining it, I recommend you read my honest review of the site before doing so.

Why are you people acting so daft? Is $ your currency? The crypto market is has so many participants with good value for their currency. While others are waiting for 1$ or 1cent, you are waiting for 1# to 2.5# if shiba moves from current price to 0.002 or 0.005 USD (1# or 2.5#) you are already a millionaire. Wise up. Am not greedy to hold to 1$. Or even 50cent. Doge with infinite supply was at ATH of 0.78$ make una borrow sense abeg. 0.005 is my target.
Yes you're making money cos you have nothing better to do with your time so you can afford to spend the whole day watching the charts so you can sell when the price moves from 0.000000003 to 0.000000005 and make your money but what about newbies (Which includes retirees, employed individuals and fund managers) who were misled into buying it without realising that what they bought is pure junk and has no real value.

These are the people I'm more concerned about because they're the ones hoping thinking they will become millionaires overnight once the price hits $1 which we all know will never happen

Stop putting words in her mouth, she's not encouraging anyone to commit adultery.

Her response is very clear - A woman should not confess because it is not likely that her husband will forgive her!

Oga no vex ooo but I think you don't trust your wife with money of her own which means you are insecure, I don't know if there's a past with your wife that contributed to this or just fear of " she won't be obedient any more if she pays her own bills" that some men has.

Secondly, what's wrong with your wife giving money to her people? They are your in laws and when you have you should be giving them from time to time.

Thirdly, I don't think your wife is interested in knowing everything, it seems you are just secretive with information. You don't give her full details on vital things she should know about. Hence any one she gets to know she wants to influence it to her favor.

In conclusion.
I'm not supporting my fellow woman, I deduce the above from your writeup. My husband tells me everything but at the right time, there are things he will tell me before, during, after or may never tell me sometimes for my own benefit he won't tell me so that I won't act it out ( you know women nah) please be more open with most vital things about you she won't find reason to dig deep.

That's my 2 cent cool cool
Where in the write-up did the OP mention anything about his wife's money?

He knows his wife well and he knows she can't account for money because she can't say no when people ask her for money, this is why he's concerned

Business › Re: Which Business Can A 65-Year-Old Man Do With ₦3.5M Capital? by SavageResponse(m):
SpruceMediaNG:
Let's reason together on this.

He needs to be involved with businesses that requires less moving around and more of supervision.

He needs to be doing businesses that gives daily returns

He needs to work with the young and willing and get returns in a supervisory model

He needs to do a business that doesn't require excessive movement, doesn't deteriorate without capital funds, yet accrue interest

There are different businesses that fits the profile

Let's explore a few ideas
1. Wholesale distributorship for bottle drinks, bottled water combined with whole sale egg sales as Ibadan is connected with many large poultry. The customers for one commodity will attract more customers to buy the other commodity. With 2 Million rentage of shop and stocking can begin with these two products
This retail business is the only thing I see here but it must be for a non-perishable commodity

2. Having a mini convenience store. With around 500-850 for rentage depending on location and the rest for stocking, a neighborhood mini Mart can be setup conveniently with this amount.
Not a good idea for someone of that age who has never done business before.

If he wants to avoid being cheated in this business then he needs to be ready to do stock taking of all the items in the store at least once every 2 weeks

3. Sales of nylon wholesale. Buying from factories and selling to retailers is an excellent business that even 500,000 Naira can coneniently setup. It also yields daily returns
This business requires a lot of leg work because he needs to get customers then try and pull them away from their current suppliers

4. Transportation. 2.5 Million can setup two to four buses or cars depending on quality and handed to three drivers while you expect daily or weekly returns depending on your arrangement.
Op if you want the old gentleman to develop high blood pressue in the next 6 months then invest in this business, if not then avoid it by all means

5. Saw Mill
If he invests in this business they will cheat him since he knows nothing about the different kinds of wood. They will justy be giving him rubbish stories about how business is not going well meanwhile they will be diverting the sales proceeds to another account

6. Sales of Building Materials
This business also requires some level of experience and energy which I'm not sure a 65 year old retiree has

7. Haulage Business
Sankabson, I beg you in the name of whatever you worship do not invest in haulage business. That business requires strong hand and 100% monitoring otherwise your drivers will frustrate you.
Those guys have plenty of stories - If tyre did not burst hydraulic hose will burst. If VIO did not catch them it will be FRSC and if it's not that then they will tell you that the truck broke down in the middle of a thick forest.

Some will use your truck to be doing private business, the money will be going into their pocket while the wear and tear on the truck and other expenses will be on your head!

In fact if you put your money in this business as a passive investor just know that you have set fire to your money!

8. Business centre
Na who dey still invest money for business centre these days?

9. Multiple POS business hubs
Investing and running a POS business requires someone who is young and tech savvy so he can quickly understand the latest trends.

Also be aware that there are a lot of scams in the POS business space and a 65year old man may not quickly catch on when he is being scammed.
