Not against improvement but I think the current home page looks better than this new one.

The doctor should ask for video and photo evidence of this speech before they act on it. Onovo can not be trusted after his Ribadu denial.
Politics › Re: I Like How Nigeria Is Being Run - Ibori by saworoide: 5:32pm On Sep 28, 2009
Aodoakaa is Ibori's nominee for the position of AGF. Since the game plan is working well for him, why will he not be happy with the situation. In fact, he will lobby for 3rd term for Yar'adua if circumstances permit.

Let him continue to insult Nigeria and Nigerians, posterity will judge and we shall all live to see his ignoble end.
Sports › Re: FIFA U-20 World Cup: Nigeria Vs Spain (0-2) On 28th September 2009 by saworoide: 5:17pm On Sep 28, 2009

Guys, I think the boys tried their best, they are may be not good enough for the big occassion. In the 2 games, we saw they were committed and really tried to represent the country albeit within the limit of their skills. They do not deserve total condemnation from Nigerians. Siasia already cried out about lack of preparation when he took over the team. Even if we are out, we were not disgraced. This sometimes happens in football.

However, we still stand a chance to qualify as one of the  best placed 3rd positions if we put this losses behind us and beat Tahiti. Our goals against is not too bad. Let us hope for the best.
Sports › Re: FIFA U-20 World Cup: Nigeria Vs Spain (0-2) On 28th September 2009 by saworoide: 4:52pm On Sep 28, 2009
This officiating is biased against Nigeria. We scored a good goal that was disallowed. The penalty against us is also debatable. Good luck to Nigeria against Tahiti.
Sports › Re: FIFA U-20 World Cup: Nigeria Vs Spain (0-2) On 28th September 2009 by saworoide: 4:48pm On Sep 28, 2009
These boys are just making matters worse for themselves. Siasia has over four players injured, Haruna was red carded last match, the captain has collected 2 yellow card and will be out of the next match, now this Salami guy.
At this rate, i hope we will have up to 11 boys to prosecute next game. We still have a little cahnce of qualifying as best 3rd position in the groups.

There is really nothing to celebrate about Nigeria@49. But that will not stop me from celebrating my birthday on that day. In case you want to partake , just go to any state stadium or Eagle square in Abuja and you'll be received by my PA's (State Governors) as they will be on ground to spend yet another large chunk of the federal resources to celebrate mark my birthday. Don't forget I've already declared the day a public holiday to allow you partake in the activities lined up for the day  grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

From what we have seen so far this year, there is no need to give any of the eagles' players an award this year. They have all disappointed. However, Osaze may just be the one-eyed man in the land of the blind. If the must give an award, let them give it to Osaze.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Venezuela (0 - 1) - FIFA U-20 WC 2009 by saworoide: 8:43pm On Sep 27, 2009
The Nigeria team obviously underrated Venezuela in the 1st half. We were the better side in the 2nd half despite playing with 10 men. I believe if we pick a draw against Spain, we could go all out against Tahiti in our last group game. I trust Siasia to do the needful.
Politics › Re: Finally Sony Apologise To Nigeria (but Rejected) by saworoide: 8:34pm On Sep 27, 2009
As far as I know, Nigeria is a country of over 140M people. That a few of us have shown corrupt tendencies is not enough to warrant insults and abuse on all and sundry. We still have our dignity as a country to protect, apology welcomed, we don't need he tauntrums from Sony to fix our problems.

Nice to see Vela score after the injury sideline. Can't wait for him to displace Bartender in the first team.
I sincerely wish Wenger thinks in the same way. If Vela got half as much as playing time Bendtner has got, he would have been a goal poacher now.

Three rights make a left, So?

YES!
I aks again, is these trully a good development? The news piece said the kidnappers are making a demand for money ransom, they are not demanding good governance or anything we are complaining about. They are just criminals and their act should not be encouraged. Kidnapping is never the solution to corruption

Love was blind. But it has attended many miracle crusades and got healed of the aliment.
Currently, love is not only full sighted, he get sharp eyes. Lovers' stupidity should never be interpreted to mean love is blind.
Politics › Re: Breaking News- Kaduna State. Secretary Kidnapped! by saworoide: 3:36pm On Sep 22, 2009
Nairalanders!!! Why should we jubilate over sheer criminality. Whatever about civil actions? Nobody kidnapped anybody before we forced IBB out in 1993. Two wrongs will never make a right. Are we saying ALL public office holders are corrupt and we should all jubilate when bad things like kidnapping befall any of them.

Politics › Re: Doctor Jailed For Obasanjo Death by saworoide: 11:51am On Sep 22, 2009
See how other countries are just showing us how to value human lives. I'm not sure the Obasanjo family pressed for any charges against the doctor but the country just showed us human live is sacred irrespective of the circumstance. OBJ should bury his head in shame as he did not even attempt to give Nigerian anything close to these justice system in his 8-year reign.

Politics › Re: Bayo Ohu, The Guardian's Reporter, Murdered by saworoide: 6:33pm On Sep 21, 2009
All the signs of a failed state are staring us in the face, yet our "leaders" are more concerned with 2011 elections. These are the reasons why Nigerians in diaspora find it difficult to make the decision to come back home no matter how worse their conditions are abroad.

Somebody asked what if the patient is the doctors relative? May I add what if the patient is a commissioner or a LG chairman? I think the medical practitioners are the ones who should have fought this draconian law. We have medical doctors in the national assembly (at least I know Olorunimbe from Lagos state). Are our senators actually making laws for us apart from appropriation acts?

May the reporter's soul rest in peace.
