Sergio104:We share a lot in common with our brothers in the SS, even if some are blind to see that we are being cheated due to divide and conquer that the rest of the country enjoy. One of the most uniting SS person I know on this forum is Basterdlyrich. Even though he is Ijaw, he sees through tricks of people outside SE and SS in the marginalization of our peoples. So even with the insults, many of them will wake up sooner than later. After all, someone like Saro Wiwa realized what Ndigbo told him was right. The rest will. It's just a matter of time. Jow do you even know that these monikers dividing Ndigbo and southern minorities are actually from the regions? |
It is sad seeing how people that have lived peacefully for centuries are increasingly divided by Nigeria. The so-called South-south is comprised of more than 50% Igbos. At least, three other tribes of the South-South, the Efiks, the Ibibios and the Annangs are ancestral cousins to Ndigbo. What we have failed to realize is that we cannot make progress in an environment of rancor. The reason the Nigerian state is taking us for granted is our party spirit and the division among us. Also, we should be aware that the Nigerian political class do not represent the people. The Nigerian constitution has made sure of that. That is why they can afford 100 million each for presidential indication of interest but cannot provide the basic needs of their peoples. That is why there are no seaports in PHC, Calabar and Warri. That is why they can pipe our oil to the north but cannot pipe water to our homes. That is why the oil wells are mostly owned by the northerners. The status quo satisfies the rest of the country because all the wealth being stolen are from us. This is why the SE and SS should forge a common front. Remember that our peoples lived in peace before this division by Nigeria. This must not continue. State creation is an instrument of division and we should look beyond that. You cannot in the real sense arrogate state nativity to yourself over tribe. It is an artificial creation by the oppressors of our peoples. The beneficiaries of our division are the parasites and scavengers who contribute nothing to the wealth being looted in Nigeria. |
Gathering of Judases. The natural betrayals. |
The issue I have is with those saying it is either Igbo presidency or SE leave Nigeria. Igbo are not only in south east. We have Igbo in Delta, Edo, Rivers, Bayelsa, Crossrivers, Benue and Kogi. Please we all should take note. |
paramakina202:Well, you can never understand the Igbo spirit. You guys are satisfied with being scavengers. Some prefer dying standing than the slavery most of you Nigerians endure and will continue to endure. Even the fake Igbo you wrote doesn't deceive me. Whether in Igbo land or elsewhere, I'll never support Igbo continuing in a country moving in circles like Nigeria. A country of leeches and scavengers instead of purpose. We Igbo never live in mediocrity such as most of you are used to. So keep wallowing in it. |
paramakina202:Awareness my friend. Awareness. People like us never believed in Biafra just 10 years ago. In fact, we though Nigeria was a country but when they started killing IPOB while shielding bandits and terrorists, we became believers. Awareness. Millions of borderline Igbo now support a different homeland for Ndigbo. In fact, it is now just a matter of time because we cannot continue to be in the same country with folks like you. |
Good move. |
God1000:I'm always amused when black people like you fail to understand how the world works. Do you think the colonialists rate you or your ancestors based on the same scale they used for fair skinned races? Why did the British not do what they did for Indian sub-continent for Nigeria but rather did the opposite even though the same conditions subsisted? The answer should be obvious if you're using your initiative. Why was it easy for Truman to make the decision to drop an atomic bomb on Japan but not Germany, the reason should also be obvious though you Africans are challenged when simple things like these are before you. Your second question reeks of the traditional Nigerian hypocrisy that has kept the country moving in circles. Why SE? Since you hate the Igbos so much, why are you comfortable being in the same country with the people you hate? That accentuates my assertion that Africa's problem is putting together strange bed fellows. All Hutus, were they all in Burundi would have prevented ethnic strife that killed millions. All Tutsi's were they all in Uganda would have had more progress. As long as Africans refuse to use their initiatives but are satisfied with being teleguided, the continent and its race will CONTINUE to be at the base of the humanity ladder. |
God1000:To understand the future, know about the fact. Even honest British explorers told the British crown that it would be a bad Idea to colonize the Igbo and the Ekun. Perhaps you do not know that Yoruba was originally called Ekun before they embraced the slave name of Yoruba. African tribes were mostly prosperous before the whiteman came and depleted the work force though trans-atlantic slavery. To understand that Nigeria's problem cannot be separated from the so-called diversity, look at the accomplishments of the regional governments. That should tell you that multi-ethnicity is NEVER a merit to a country but demerit. The amalgamation was like mixing oil and water. Lugard knew that the regions will not survive it but did it for administrative convenience to feed the whiteman's greed. The same is happening today. The north and the west brought practically nothing of economic value to the country so they want the status quo to continue as the country milks the SE and SS. How isn't it a demerit? |
What Ndigbo need is to unite all Igbo clans in all states and be focused on exiting the country. All Igbo in Bayelsa, Rivers, Kogi, Edo, Delta, Cross Rivers, Benue and the SE should understand that this country is taking us backwards. |
How is it degrading? The whiteman made African countries and Africans are proud of the whiteman's creation. So why won't Africans be the controlled by the whiteman. What you should start with is that Africans should reject the Berlin Conference by going back to the drawing board for self determination. As an Igbo man, I have no business being in the same country with a Yoruba man. With an Ibibio or an Efik perhaps makes more sense than a Yoruba who I have no cultural affinity with, talk less of a Fulani whose intention is to kill my people. If you're happy being a Nigerian. If you're proud of being made by Europeans, you should be proud for all countries the whiteman created at the Berlin Conference to be manipulated, summoned and collectively controlled by the whiteman. Until you have the sense to reject the destiny imposed on you as an African, be ready to continue with the status quo. |
Just watch CNN today and see Biden floundering in his speech. Practically talking to invisible beings. The man is possibly losing his mind to age. |
Realist12:I'll let this slide, since you obviously don't understand that Yoruba are parasitic in nature. You're Yoruba so I do not expect you to grasp that. For the rest of the nonsense you wrote, wallow in your half-truths. |
They're the scavengers of the south. All they want is to share in the loot of a country they contribute nothing to in terms of natural resources. economically |
There is nothing like the South. What you have is Yoruba greed and others. |
This is non news. Very normal with people from that side to be 2face pipo. Just watch how the duo of Tinubu and Osibade will backstab themselves during the APC primaries. In fact, a northerner will win it. |
Realist12:Still sounding parasitic. South South dissociated themselves from Igbo? So Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is not Igbo? Chibuike Amaechi too and Ifeanyi Okowa are not Igbo? See how dumb you sound. Just because the divide and rule you guys love is happening doesn't imply that everyone has been fooled by your stupid tricks. Okay Nzeogwu is a South South man that led a coup that caused you people to murder millions of Igbos. If the south South are not Igbo, why is it an Igbo coup. Yoruba supports the status quo of marginalization of the south because you guys are scavenging in nature, All you're satisfied with is the crumbs after the Fulani have eaten and as long as Yoruba are part of the southern Nigeria, the south will always remain a minority in the Nigerian project unless the SE and SS forms a united block, which of course the Yoruba and Fulani will always kick against. |
Did you see how quickly the leeches invaded the topic. Liars and believers of lies. As if they do not know that 50% of SS are Ndigbo. When it is convenient, SSners like Nzeogwu are Igbos as long as it gives them the opportunity to hate on Ndigbo. At other times they're not Igbo. Just the other day an illegal refinery in Imo exploded, I thought there are no Igbo states producing oil. Wicked people and their divide and rule. The odd thing is that it is the Yorubas doing the dirty work for the caliphate because they know that like the north, they contribute nothing but are the parasites of the south. Is it not amazing that Igbo villages are still better than their townships? Who God has blessed, He has blessed jare. Igbo amaka. I just hope that Ndigbo and all the southern minorities will open their eyes at these backstabbers. You'll see how they'll finish themselves in this APC primaries for the north to carry the day. |
Funny...The truth you Nigerians have refused to embrace is that there is nothing like the south. You have Yoruba greed and others. It is a well-crafted plan by perhaps the British and perpetuated by the Nigerian state to make sure that the regions producing the wealth of the country (SE/SS) are the most marginalized. This can only be accomplished through divide and rule that feeds on Yoruba greed since they brought nothing of economic import to the south, Why do you think that successive governments have refused to make ports in Calabar, Warri and Port Harcourt functional? That is the only way the SE/SS could have political leverage added to the economic leverage that they have and which no other part of the country does. It's a question of parasite/host relationship that Nigeria is built on. As long as the parasites have latched on the wealth producing regions, they'll do anything to hang on, including using Yoruba against the rest of the south. |
Madiebo is so inspiring. His book is one of the most objective accounts of the war. Unlike what that British spy wrote. |
Jostoman:This is exactly what they did with Buhari. Unfortunately for them, they've exhausted their bag of tricks in 2015. These days, it's so easy to bust them. |
Siwel25:You're being economical with the truth. Tinubu CANNOT win Obi in a fair contest. He won't come close. |
Peter Obi is no doubt the only sensational phenomenon in the upcoming presidential election. It is obvious that his interest in the Nigerian presidency is giving urchins and their sponsors sleepless nights. This is a man with ideas, visions and actionable plans such as has NEVER been seen in this country since the first republic when Nigeria had men with vision at the helm of affairs. Obi is bad news for the everyday mediocre that is the Nigerian political class. This is why none is ready and willing to face him in the field and are rather using underhand tactic to de-market him. You wouldn't blame these mediocre politicians and their hired hands if you have presence on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter. Like Britannia, Obi is ruling the waves of the Nigerian political space on Twitter. No other politician comes close. Since Twitter is the platform where the most objectively incisive discourse take place, the best minds in the country have come to a consensus that Obi presidency is needed to lift the country out of the cycle of retrogression, rot and directionless leadership that has beleaguered the country for more than 5 decades. Since Obi's traducers cannot match the intellectual and factual debate on Twitter, they have resorted to platforms such as Facebook groups and Nairaland to de-market Obi. Here is what I have noticed: Politician's urchins are aware that Obi is the only presidential candidate with national appeal based on reproducible organic interest. This is a guy that isn't doling out cash like the Nigerian conventional politician, yet nearly all reasonable Nigerians that want to escape the cycle of mediocrity are all backing and campaigning for him. So Obi has been the central focus in Urchins WhatsApp Group. Thee chaps all have about 10 alt accounts each on Nairaland. They would select a topic to discredit Obi, post and announce on their WhatsApp group. Then these urchins would quickly post their negative comments against Obi and also use their alt accounts to like all the negative comments against the man. The idea is to create the false impression that people on Nairaland are different from the Nigerians on Twitter where Obi has become like a tsunami. They also discuss and notify their fellow urchins when a post about Obi has been published on Nairaland, so that they could quickly respond negatively and like their falsehood against the man with all their alt accounts. Unfortunately, they do cannot do this on Twitter where the algorithm is smarter. You also notice them calling on moderators to push anti-Obi rants to the front page of Nairaland. The strategy is simple...They post and announce and like their falsehood. They did this in 2015 and fooled Nigerians. Let's see how they will succeed with lies after they've been busted with Buhari. Wow... Obi is really giving these urchins sleepless nights. My question is, why are they scared of Obi? Is it because they're aware that their principals are bereft of ideas on how to solve the many problems bedeviling Nigeria? Please do not let urchins deceive you. Peter Obi for sanity Peter Obi for President Peter Obi all the way |
ArewaNorth:Kiddo, you really missed the shot. Don't let this hate and deceitful sufferstication continue within you. You can fight it. Kwem |
Legendforte:Kiddo, you really missed the shot. Don't let this hate continue within you. You can fight it. Kwem AllRightsReserved |
93% of Nigerians are fuls. That's why they're mentally enslaved to Fulani. Although the main reason is that Fulani has conquered one major tribe completely and another major tribe partially. That's why they never listen to the only major tribe that resists Fulani conquest (Igbo). They all prefer the whole country become the estate of Dan Fodio. |
Baileydice:That's why this Nairaland should be bought and managed by professionals. I remember posting some facts that would have made some issues clear. Just because it is against Yoruba lies, the moderator deleted it. Very biased people. |
OfoIgbo:You shouldn't rub it in. No one in Nigeria doubts that there is something remarkable about Ndigbo, but we should just not rub it in. |
This guy is working very hard to floor Tinubu. Meanwhile, everyone knows that Peter Obi is the right chap for a meaningful future for the country. Hope PDP don;t miss this opportunity to clinch it |
Igbo Amaka biko. Even Igbo villages beat many cities in some regions. Igbo amaka |
leokid866:The question is "Why can't Tinubu urchins stomach what they dished Jonathan?" |
Have you noticed that Tinubu's urchins are gut-less? They just cannot take a small portion of what they did to Jonathan. These are people who accused Jonathan of incompetence, drunkenness, clueless and more without evidence. Just lies and rumors, but Jonathan never retaliated or arrested them. Just a few years later, their patron is peeing on himself and showing signs of Parkinson's disease and these people are practically wailing when people point these things out. What is it that is wrong with these guys and their evil reloaded ways. Obviously, no one cares about Nigeria. These SW goons are more interested in their lord stealing the national cake as other people's lord has stolen for their own tribe. This is the error of a non-functional country. Could you imagine what would be happening if this country were say four countries of the Igbos, Arewa, Yoruba and Southern minorities. Would any of these people pray for inept, debilitated person as a leader? What is actually happening in Nigeria is that sections and tribes are fighting to enthrone who will steal as much as possible, the wealth from SE and SS. The purpose seems to be to bleed the regions until there is nothing left. Another African irony of people who lack the capacity to know what is wrong with them. Before this country sees light, it must be dismembered or restructured. If all the wealth being stolen were from the north or Yoruba? They all would be wailing daily. When will Tinubu supporter boldly take what they dished Jonathan? |
