Ebi2233:Where my mom comes from Ijo means to drag. No wonder you people are dragging every tribe around you. Drag drag Ijaw. |
Itshekiri will soon deal with you. This time, Urhobo and Ikwerre will team up to send you guys back to the Sierra Leone you came from. |
kettykin:Kogi? Lokoja having Obidients doesn't imply that the state is for PO. Unless there's something we don't know yet. Nasarawa, plateau, Benue are the sure MB states for Peter Obi. |
seunmsg:I'd have said amen, but I don't like wishing people evil. |
Henix:Abuja is certain as a MB metropolitan, but you see Lagos, Tinubu's thugs will give Obidients a tough time with ballot snatching, rigging and intimidation. In fact, it'll be the battleground state. |
kcnwaigbo:Yes, I though as much, but the problem is that all the solidarity we are seeing in Taraba may just be in the urban areas. Without bringing the rural areas on board, I don't see him winning the state. Taraba is the most Obedient state in the North, while Edo leads in the SS. I've not seen a powerful statement from any State in SW and NW. |
Cyberterror:What a consolation for you. |
omoharry:Tinubu is out of the game. |
Obi already has 3 zones on lockdown, but can he snatch a state or two from Tinubu in the South West and a state or two from Atiku in the NE or NW? |
Vote wisely. Only one candidate is a wise choice. |
We all know that the 2023 presidential election is between Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar. The gale of defections to PDP from APC in the North is a testament to this. APC, a ruling party has become a shadow of itself as the presidential election gets closer. Why are they all abandoning Tinubu? Imagine the party that wrested power from PDP becoming a regional party overnight. Rejected by the north, the East, the MB and the South. This must be politics gone wrong. Did the north intentionally give Tinubu the ticket to isolate him? I mean with all the man did for them in 2015, it seems his highest reward is Presidential Contestant. |
Don't worry about him. The contest is between Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar. |
Grandmeister:The reason is that Nigerians find unity if the adversary is Igbo. |
Fooolish Lie-no O-mockery has met his match. No wonder Jonathan lost. Picking a fool like Lie-No O'mockry as a spokesperson was a disaster. Atiku has followed that calamitous path so finally,... Peter Obi shall win. |
This is not even about Obi. It's about us Obidient Nigerians who are tired of bad governance. When do We start speaking up? We all are contesting the Nigerian Presidential Election of 2023 in Peter Obi. |
Even Atiku is biased. Why the bribe no equal. I saw #77,500 and one unlucky Sanni receiving #22500. So Atiku expects Sani to sell 8 years of his life for one week foodstuffs? Wicked Atiku |
Keep staking them up boys. Inflation is at double digits 23%, add agbadonomics and see it soar to Zimbabwe and Venezuela levels. |
Ostartruth said: As the north is preparing to give Tinubu a shock, the South should also prepare by delivering all the southern votes to Peter Obi. It means that Amoda is different from what he presents to Nigerians and if Nigerians are foolish like in 2015, he'll finish the country with his deceit. |
Old news of more than 4 years. Afonja Yoruba sef |
I pity him when bandits nab him. Buhari is not even interested or aware he's been banditnapped. |
Nairanation2:Stop talking nonsense. Why did Zik form an alliance with the North? Is it not Yoruba tribalism of Awolowo? At a time the mayor of Enugu was a Fulani man, Zik was poised to win an election in the West and before constituting his government, Awolowo went behind the scenes to Yoruba politicians and spoke tribal mgbatimgbati to them to reject the candidate that was winning? Zik had to go back to the East to contest and when it was time to form national government, you still expected him to go to the betraying Awolowo against the north? Just admit that you people can't live without betraying anything betrayable. It's in your blood bro... |
Quintopia:Nonsense policy. Are all these raw materials the white man is extracting and giving Africans paper renewable? Why are blacks so sense? Who is the wealth going to since 500 years? Why are Africans incapable of using their own wealth or going to Asia and America to bring back raw materials? |
Bola has been tinubulated by the Northerners. Suffersticated politics has backfired on the face of our Yoruba people. I just pity them. After 2023, they'll go back to the opposition politics that they're specialists in since 1960. Since they think they could sell the rest of the south to please one man as they did in 2015. I pity them because they're permanently relegated. Now northerners do not trust them and Southerners do not trust them. That's the consequence of being double faced, double mouthed chamelons that betray everything betrayable. I like what the north is doing. Betray the betrayers. They thought singing Sai baba at the expense of the south would permanently keep power rotating between the SW and North to spite Ndigbo and Jonathan. Man no be God. |
Tinubu will run to Burkina Faso for medical treatment a few days to the debate. His vice will represent him. This is what I have seen. |
To the Nigerian police, there's freedom of movement. What may not be available is freedom after movement. This reminds me why I didn't marry my first girlfriend who is a police officer. Nigerian policemen are so crooked. Perhaps it takes a crook to catch a crook. That girl can lie eh. |
Vote wisely... |
What an upper cut. I've always said that Yoruba Muslims are Nigeria's problem. Not the Christians, not the Northerners but Yoruba tribalists. The same people would say Igbo are only in SE when it pleases them but when they want to market their hate for Igbo, Nzeogwu, a SS man from Delta State becomes Igbo. These same Yoruba are the ones singing that Igbo cannot become president in their own country, yet they're the first to jubilate when secessionists in Igbo land are killed by the military. They're the same people that call Igbo haters, but even with their deadened consciences, they know that what gives them relevance and a sense of existence is marketing their hatred for Igbo. Nothing would give the typical Yoruba Muslim happiness than seeing other tribes hate Ndigbo the way they do. What I find amusing is that when you meet them in real life in the marketplaces, they wouldn't mind rolling on the floor for the Igbo man they hate juts because they need your money. I'll say that the Yoruba agenda against the rest of the South is clear enough. Submission to the north as much as they can just to eat up the crumbs of Nigeria that falls off the crude oil table because they're aware that just like the North, the wealth being stolen and squandered doesn't belong to them. Look no further for the reason for their hatred for Jonathan in 2015 and Obi in 2022. Their policy is simple: sell the south for our interests only. A pity their wicked alliance with the north against the rest of the South is crumbling before their eyes. The hypocrisy of Seun, the Nairaland owner is a reflection of the typical Yoruba Muslim. The good news is that the Christians among them are waking up from their deceit of religion not being a cause for division among Yoruba. At least the hijab crisis has shown the ChristianYoruba how they're being bought and sold by Yoruba Muslims. |
As someone who has lived in both cities, I want to say that your experience depends on your location. I stayed in a place called Umungasi in Aba and it's just like living in any urban area of Nigeria. Having said that, I'll add that Aba is an extremely chaotic and near lawless city. If you're even remotely educated and disciplined, this is certainly not a town for you unless you limit the parts of the town you wouldn't want to go to. Most of the outskirts are practically slums and this is compounded by the flatness of the city. Calling the town one big dirty supermarket isn't out of order. There are decent places that are not affected by dirtiness and slightly livable during the rains. Lagos... I lived in an estate in Lagos. The fact that the estate nearly straddle an expressway means that I didn't experience what the ordinary residents pass though in terms of horrid dirt. I wouldn't want to talk about the many slums of Lagos, but even a visitor would have observed these on transit. The problem of Lagos is compounded by the fact that the city is grossly overcrowded. Also, the rich are selective in where they invest. Lagos is a seaside city that is poorly managed. Maybe, it's just an issue of the managers being overwhelmed by the magnitude of work needed to make the city functional or just the traditional corruption. Outside well managed estates, Lagos is a horrible place to live in. For one, the waterfronts and waterways are so clogged with waste that the government is mostly incapable of doing much about the dirtiness of the city in dry season. The stench of the canals is so terrible that researchers should find work just studying the effects on people that live close to them. Then comes the rainy seasons. You wouldn't want to be in many parts of Lagos when the rains come. It seems 79% of the city is flooded. The canals may not stink as badly as in the dry season but the flood water and dirt could find their way into the homes. Another problem with Lagos is the chaotic traffic situation. This actually improved during the time Fashola became governor because the man is actually a leader that made effort to get close to the people. I really can't say what the situation is at the moment, but between Aba and Lagos, I think the traffic situation is better in Lagos because they have in place a good traffic control system and law's in place in the latter. The summary is that both cities are not very livable for the poor. The bad news for Lagos is that some of the highbrow areas on the island are also not liveable for the rich when the rain comes. Aba and Lagos have a lot of lawlessness among drivers. At the end, those that suffer most in both cities are the poor. Aba's main issue is that the government are not even putting in minimal effort because the state never had a governor like Fashola that cared to make things work. |
No be only stock, na stockings. Yeye. |
INDOMIE9090:Spoken like the Indomie you are. |
I heard this story from an Igala woman. I read to know if this would be different as oral folklore are wont to, but it's accurate. Especially of interest is the Dekina story and the disunity among the Igala. |
