Arsenalholic: Nigerians haff started.
"Walkover" "South Africa are our perennial wives" bla bla bla.
This is how you people make mouths before games, at the end you get disappointed. Learn to tone down.
There were FOUR key things that impressed me about South Africa against Egypt:
Their PRESS : They made life uncomfortable for Egypt with a "modern" press as the Egyptians tried to play out from the back.
This could be problematic for us. Neither the duo of Ekong or Omeruo are very assured on the ball. And we are renowned for making back passes too much. That should be something to take note of.
The Hold Up Play of Mathiba: The guy was a beast up front against the physical Hegazi. Held play well and brought in the likes of Percy Tau, Lorch and the midfielders into the game.
Nigerian defenders have to be really physical against him.
Their One-touch Football: Not even the more technically astute North African teams have played the kind of pass-and-move football the South Africans played at times.
To be honest. It was thrilling.
That kind of passing can cut a defense into two very quickly. We have to be on guard.
Defensive Organization: That man in midfield, Furman, protected the defense SUPERBLY. And the defense played their part too.
In the end, Nigeria possess more than enough firepower to win this game. But it will NOT be a walk over like many are already claiming all over social media.
We play a different style of football from Egypt. And that counts for a lot.
I HOPE of course, the Eagles carry the day. You've said it all. With their superb counter attack and almost impenetrable defence, they will give us a good run for our money. If we play that rubbish we played against Cameroon, they will surely beat us. |
Sports › Re: Osaze Odewimgwe's Epic Response To A South African Fan by Scetrocom: 12:15pm On Jul 07, 2019 |
Arsenalholic: I really wish Nigerian fans will tone down the bragging. Just allow the boys get to it and give it their best shot
One thing is crystal clear: this South African team is MILES better than the one we walloped in 2004. Plus our team is weaker compared to the Super Eagles team of 2004.
I was in awe watching the Bafana Bafana against Egypt. It was easily the most interesting game I'VE WATCHED at the tournament yet. They PRESSED Egypt and played some intricate, top-notch pass and move combinations that carved Egypt apart. That was nice to see.
I hope our coach finally gets the memo and unleash our new golden boy, Chukwueze from the get-go. Just as Percy Tau will occupy Aina, I would like Chukwueze to occupy that Lanthi guy in RSA's "3" position.
In the end, I hope we come up with a game plan that wins the game and moves us to the next stage. Up The Eagles! Unarguably, this SA team is far better than our team in every department. They have one of the best defence in this tournament. If they could rattle Egypt the way they did, it will take miracle for us to escape unscathed if we play against them the way we played against Cameroon. We beat Cameroon because their team too is nothing to write home about. |

We were lost at the midfield in the first half.. Iwobi is no where to be found.. Ighallo I not defending nor attacking This is the worst Nigeria team I have ever seen. Iwobi is zero. We can't play good corner kick or free kick. Our defenders keep on clearing ball for the waiting opponents and our striker do not understand the location of Cameroon net. The most provocative is the Cameroon second goal. I was just telling my friend why do we have six players trying to prevent Cameroon keeper from passing ball to player? What if they send long ball. I have not finished my statement when the ball entered our net. |

If buhari can say Abacha is not corrupt, then his own definition of corruption is quite different from what any reasonable person will think, and only God knows how much buhari himself must have looted from our treasury. Apart from those collected by the previous governments( Obj,yaradua and GEJ),about 100billion Abacha loot was recovered last year by buhari from swiss govt. That money is a subject of controversy now as nobody could account for how it was spent within a very short time. As far as I'm concerned, there is no difference between APC and PDP as far as treasury looting is concerned. https://www-vanguardngr-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2016/05/abacha-never-stole/?amp_js_v=a2&_gsa=1&&usqp=mq331AQA#referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&_tf=From%20%251%24s&share=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.vanguardngr.com%2F2016%2F05%2Fabacha-never-stole%2F |

solmusdesigns:

bad step.
First 24hrs:
*He annouces on the acceptance speech he can't pay 30k minimum wage as all state don't earn the same and Oyo state don't have money
* Ends 3000 a year levy (365days) students pays to their schools for mentainance and other Service to ease burden on federal allocation, and make Parents contribute abit to give public school proper runing
*Dessolves constituitedly elected LGA bosses, and closest level of goverment to the rural people far from state capital
I can smell unnecessary sentiment here.
Did his predecessor paid 18k minimum wage? The answer is NO. And yet he still owed workers backlogs of salary and arrears.
The local govt executives dissolved were not elected, but were all handpicked by the outgoing governor. For the past 8 years all local government were pocketed by Ajimobi which resulted into total absence of any meaningful project at local government level.
What every Nigeria is clamouring for is free and qualitative basic education and payment of 3k o'er student negates this. Besides, our education sector is in total mess in term of quality and infrastructure despite the payment of that 3k. Ajimobi has done his own best the way he knows how to do it. If there are gaps here and there noted by the new governor, let him correct it and give us digital and transparent governance that will put Oyo state in the place of honour we deserve. |

My problem is that i easily get angry and my anger doesn't go away easily. Very little things make me angry. Things that are not supposed to make me angry. I can live in a room with a person for one year or even more without saying a word to the person just because he/she angered or did something bad to me.
I'm a quiet guy. People say i'm an introvert. I always try my best to avoid trouble. I am in my mid twenties buy have never been in a relationship.
This my problem of easily getting angry and keeping malice has been troubling me. I don't like it but still can't stop it. It is affecting my relationship with my family and close friends. And how can i even go into a relationship with this issue i'm having. I find it very difficult to completely forgive. I always envy those who are sociable and who don't easily get angry. I always wish to be like them.
Please i need your help/advice. Please this is not a spiritual problem, so don't start telling me about deliverance. I would appreciate if this can be moved to the front page. Thanks. Having sex in the public is bad and immoral. There is no religion that supports such ignoble behaviour. But there is something we need to take note of. "During the month of ramadan" this phrase makes it look as if they were apprehended for contravening a religion law, saria in particular. When did NSCDC become saria police? Can't they be arrested for constituting public nuisance rather than bringing religion to the whole thing? Nigeria is a secular state and her security agents are not being funded from taxpayers money to advance the course of any religion. Authority concerned should take note. |
