They should stop hiding under canopy of they are capable and can equally take care of wives and children. 80% of ritual killing cases and touts are from them even though Islam teaching forbids it, but honestly; by the time most of their children grow up; some of their children become wayward and frustrated in life to the extent of going into ritual killings and touts due to extreme poverty.

Only responsibility some of the average and poor Muslim parents do is to give birth, spend money to do naming ceremony, but once the child grows up and responsibility begins most of the children are abandoned to their mothers that may even be jobless; it is another reason why many run away muslim children end up as conductors and touts when their christian children counterparts are in schools. It is similar reason why Boko Haram and bandits are able to recruit many abandoned and alimonjere children in the north because their poor muslim parents with many jobless wives can't cater for their financial and moral need as they grow up.

Today's pride of having many children can become tomorrow's nightmare if they are not properly taken care of. Something should be done by government to limit number of children you must give birth to even if you have multiple wives and financial status of such parents must be examined by government before granting that permission to give birth to certain children to avoid future millitancy and banditry in Yoruba land

I really believe you're on the right track as regards Tech, my only advice is as someone said, save some money and when you finally relocate to Abuja, look for a tech company and offer yourself as an Intern. You're still a fresher in the field, it might be hard getting a full paid job as an experienced developer. So internship would allow you learn more and align yourself with the experienced senior developers. If the owner of the tech company sees your vigour and willingness, he can decide to be giving you some stipends per month. Also look for software development meetups in Abuja. In all this, have patience and throw away pride, like you said, you're 26, be patient and be humble. What did I say Sir; be patient.

Tech stacks to focus on, I believe you know; JavaScript first, I repeat JavaScript. Why? Because it will lay your foundation for ReactJS, which is very popular and in high demand. There were some interns I advised in 2020 to learn JavaScript and eventually ReactJS and today in Abuja they're earning 6 figure salary. I mean 100k and above per month, as young guys and bachelors.

So if you feel, you're not yet strong with JavaScript, then I would advise you still wait and still be teaching in your current place of primary assignment, learn JavaScript again again and again, then learn ReactJS while still working in this school that's giving you steady income. Why because, if you leave this school and go to Abuja and you're not yet grounded in the skills of Software engineering, then it will be hard to get a job, and if you go in for internship and they don't pay you anything, what will you be living on; it might be hell.

So think wisely, don't make hasty decisions; I reiterate, if you are not yet grounded with JavaScript and ReactJS, continue learning and Teaching, at the end you would eat the good of the land.

I did an interview at the beginning of this week and I was called by the HR on Thursday that the company will be employing me, he asked if I would be available for resumption on Monday, and he was told yes.

He then said I would get a proper employment mail from them, which I have not gotten from Thursday till today, tomorow is Sunday and Monday is almost here.

Should I place a call back to the HR probably tomorow afternoon, if I don't hear from them or should I just keep expecting and move on if I end up not getting the mail?

I'm really skeptical on calling him because of our mentality in this country.

Yoruba's live in cities and villages like normal human beings. Fulani lives in the forest reserves like wild animals with their cattle.

Yorubas rich and poor believes alot in education and it's ability to advance societies. Hausa/fulani believe that western education is Haram.

We Yoruba's don't pardon yahoo boy's, terrorists, militants or bandits. Hausa/fulani believes that terrorists are humans like us and should be pardoned and reintegrated back into society.

We believe in freedom of expression; it's why bobrisky is still walking freely in Lagos. Northerners believe in breaking beer bottles and banning mannequins because it is Haram.

We produce Noble laureates, tech Titans, globally recognized scientists, athletes, execs and self made business people. The north produces military men, presidents with school cert results and a large voting population.

There might have been intermarriages and inter relations with neighboring Northern tribes but hausa/fulani are never one or the same people.
