igbos una matter just tire me.. one person go follow wrong way, others go join in no time till d whole tribe lands in trouble..

then they will remember oduduwa and afonjas to come and bail them out..

why una dey like that?
it's very hard for igbos to correct themselves or call one another to order
Friend I only had to engage you because I think some of you are losing it (no offence intended). Thinking that a tribe is judged by anonymous media like this forum is a form of delusion and brain watching. Look what Leo said can be narrowed down to the youths and Igbos because it is most likely the people in the forum. But most people left the wider picture for a Crum. Tell me is Nigerian youth or African youth performing in terms of wealth creation?

Huhuhu. don't you thing your assumptions is jst a stereotype? It is clear you only live in a false sentiment possibly shared to you by others living in same realm of delusions. I am not saying am the best or even good but I was born and raised in Igbo land.

Why Igbo are not rich – Leo Stan
By Chinonso Alozie, Owerri

The Chairman Zinox Group, Mr. Leo Stan Ekeh Monday said that lack of humility has remained a very big obstacle among young Igbo people. He made this statement during a youth entrepreneurship workshop held at the Imo state University, IMSU, auditorium. According to him, “There is a reason why you see young people in Igbo land do not grow. One is lack of humility. You see a boy who has 20,000 and he wants a professor to stand up for him. Let me tell you, if you are humble, God will promote you. You have to delete some things that are not relevant to your life and move forward.” “You cannot be negative and be successful. You must be positive to get something positive. This is the problem of an Igbo man. He added that, ” Most of the Igbo men are technically not rich.” He, however, said that the current recession did not affect him because he was prepared, adding that, “I am not afraid of the recession and I am not affected. I do not have God father, what I did was to use my knowledge to to succeed.” While advising young people doing business, he said, ” I must tell you, as a young who is doing business, have it at the back of your mind that when you are doing business you must loose money to make money, adding that,” They must build the fundamentals to succeed in their business.”

Leo talking on generalization and assumption. All he said is a problem for most youths in the world. He narrowed it down to Igbos because he most likely was speaking to the Igbos.

SBG04:
Oga see its even worse in developed countries. In the US for instance, there's the school board consisting of parents and school administrators, similar to our PTA. If you have any issue with the school or the way your child is treated, you go through the school board. If you're not satisfied, you appeal to the local education board through the school board. Bypassing any of these would lead to serious sanctions.
This is a very simple matter of following procedure in laying complaints. See how the OP and the Mod turned it around to be an issue with Buhari and freedom of speech. Its very shameful. Extremely shameful. 95% of the comments on this thread are calling Buhari a dictator and oppressor of free speech when the topic itself has absolutely nothing to do with it.
I not arguing on the formality of laying official complain but all I said threatening parents with dismissal of their ward because of using the media to air their dissatisfaction is undemocratic. In as much as they don't use rude words, I see nothing wrong with laying a complain on social media. All they can do is to advice parents through the PTA or any relevant authority to desist from such act not threaten

SBG04:
Oga pls stop being ignorant. It's disgusting. The circular said people were going online, and sometimes in the printed press too under the guise of "concerned parents" to speak on behalf of parents of students in Federal Unity schools when the only parent association is the PTA. There is no parent association like "Concerned parents". And please stop making this a Buhari issue, that's just crass stupidity. This is simply an issue of people illegally duplicating the functions of the PTA
See my friend this is a clear case of intimidation. Yes PTA is the only group allowed to lay complaint officially but this is democracy were other parents can air their view especially if there is biases on the part of PTA. Forcing people not to speak up is totally unacceptable especially from the govt. They can advice parents not to use the social media not threaten them.

Northerners forced from home due to hardships in NE return home.

I am very proud of these people in NE. They have endured war, massacre, starvation, kidnap, loss of property, their schooling interrupted, businesses destrkyed, their infants murdered in front of them, their pregnant wives impaled, their husbands and sons beheaded, their underage girls rap.ed and impregnated, families separated and then forced out of their country to go live in refugee camps in neighbouring countries. Here they are, as the hardship and wars in their towns subside they begin to return home to begin a new life. No where is sweeter that home, sweet home!

These people are not going to Lagos, Abuja or Kano....NO, they are resettling their destroyed lands to rebuild. This is strength, this bravery, this is heroism, this will be the new strength in a future North.

I hope others across Niger who are scattered all over Yorubaland as refugees will heed calls from their leaders to come home. If they cant hear their leaders call, they should take lesson from the Kanuris and follow this heroic act.
I don't get u, what do u mean by refugee in Yoruba land?

You guys are not cursed, all you need is just change of orientation. Bitterness within your tribe and other tribes especially towards we the yorubas won't take anyone any where.

We must all irrespective of tribes encourage love and oneness at all sectors of life. Nnamdi kanu today would have been released if he had taken things slowly but because he had connections then, and he felt his plans will work out but unfortunately power has changed hands.

Do you know if the country of BIAFRA is created today, there will be WAR among the biafrans occupying the created country. Why because, the choice of power will be a major cause of problem.

Finally, until the Ibos understand love must lead and not bitterness and hatred, they might not get things right within themselves.

One love!!
See my friend, no one is bitter or hateful about anyone, so you have no point at all.

Igbo is pathetic always playing the victim. What makes Igbo as a nation different from the various militant groups will have across the country that engages in vandalism on demand for a particular interest with this demand for SEDC as a condition to stop the Biafra agitation. Let them hear this, no SEDC will be given to them, if they like they can take their agitation to a higher level they will all rot in jail for treason. Kanu should not be released, the government should go through with his trial and if found guilty should be hanged.
Very childish comment. Why should we have NEDC? Why don't we allow them to keep killing themselves.

Recovered loots in monetary form can't be spent not until the accused has been tried, found absolutely guilty of the charge(s) against him/her, and duely convicted by a recognized court of law. Same thing applies to seized properties.. I think the question the op should have asked is; those that willingly returned looted money, how much did they returned? What has the government done with it?
Then it is not a recovered loot. Since it still under investigation no one know if it is stolen loot or not.I will put it as possible loots, which implies that nothing have been recovered except media recovery.
