Is Op high on some opium? Do you think people should ignore a very viable source of power because of your sentiment and bigotry? SE has large gas deposit hence can't ignore it's gas potentials. The almost five thousand mega watt power installation built or proposed in SE alone is all gas power sourced from south east. Why should we ignore gas powered plant since it is the easiest and purest fossil fuel source the region. Besides almost all are privately owned. So please leave south east or any part of the south south that pertain to south east out of your bigotry. |

This must be coming from an igbo man thinking they are most industrious in nigeria because them carry you from village go learn electrical work. E-diot what brought up igbo to this? Who did geregu II and Olorunsogo II? Between 2007-2009 those projects were stalled because of inadequate funding. Was only resumed almost @ yar a dua's death, completed and commissioned by jonathan. Policies against Corruption GEJ was a leader who fought corruption with policies that will last, he lead strong institutional back ground for fight against corruption. The TSA & IPPIS remains some of Goodluck Jonathan's policies that will always speak for him. I also acknowledge what the current govt is doing with the policies. Treasury single account (TSA) policy compliance was introduced by Goodluck Jonathan to block leakages of revenue generation. In the words of lia mohammed " TSA deal was initiated by the immediate past administration but only enjoyed a new lease of life under the administration of president buhari..." Another policy of GEJ to fight against corruption is the [i]integrated personnel and payroll information system(IPPIS), it was introduced to block ghost workers syndrome. I also commend president buhari for his effort in continuation of this particular policy |
